Beast OTT release date and streaming partners

Tamil Superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s latest outing Beast is ready for its OTT release. The comedy action entertainer is releasing in OTT within a month of its theatrical release. Beast released in theatres on April 13 and didn’t perform well at the box office. Though Vijay saved the film in Tamil Nadu to some extent. But the other language versions couldn’t stand against KGF2 that released on same day. Many people skipped the movie in theatres to watch it on OTT.

Netflix India in it’s social media announced that Beast will be premiering on its platform on May 11 in five languages. “May Your Day Get Meaner Leaner Stronger Because Beast is coming to Netflix on 11th May in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi”, it wrote alongside the poster of the film. Alongside Netflix, Beast will stream in Sun NXT as well from the same day.

Vijay and Pooja Hegde played the lead roles while the film also stars Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Lilliput Faruqui, and Ankur Ajit Vikal in prominent roles. Doctor fame Nelson Dilip Kumar handles the direction under Sun Pictures. Anirudh composed the music and gave blockbuster songs like Arabic Kuthu and Jolly O Gimkhana. The BGM received applauds though the film failed to make an impact.

The biggest pan India movie RRR is still running successfully in theatres. The fans and movie lovers watched multiple times in theatres. Though Rajamouli himself accepted that it is not as big as Baahubali 2, RRR fared well at the box office. Ram Charan and NTR’s dance and performances are applauded all over India. Ajay Devagan, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris too shined in their roles. The epic blockbuster collected more than 1000 Cr gross. People wanted to watch RRR again and again. Rajamouli’s RRR digital rights were sold at huge price even before the theatrical release. As per the reports the blockbuster RRR is going to stream on Zee5 and Netflix from 20th May. Actor Suriya’s Jai Bhim released directly on OTT and got critically acclaimed. It impressed everyone from the general audience to the critics. Suriya produced the movie in his own banner, alongside playing the lead role. Jai Bhim is written and directed by T J Gnanavel. The emotional roller coaster ride is inspired by a real case handled by the retired Madras High Court Judge K Chandru.

The film is about a tribal woman, who knocks the doors of the Madras High Court with the help of a Lawyer to find her missing husband. The film deals with the caste issue, corruption, and misuse of police power that is effecting our criminal justice system. The emotional performances by the main roles impressed the audience.

Not only the audience the movie impressed the jury of Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival too. Jai Bhim won the Best Feature Film award at the festival. And Manikandan who played the role of missing husband has got the Best Supporting Actor award.

Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated period-drama has been in the works for over 2+ years now. The film which was originally scheduled to release in 2021, got pushed to 2022. The movie was then again pushed from an April release date.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s trailer released yesterday amidst great hype and fanfare. The trailer created a sensation by garnering more than 25 Million views in less than 24 hours and still counting. What one can observe in the trailer is Mahesh Babu going completely overboard with hyper-energetic Mass masala dialogues and action stunts. This is his best in recent times.

Parasuram, the director of the film completely presented Mahesh Babu to the core. He exactly knew what the fans had wanted from Mahesh Babu. The styling, looks and dialogue delivery of Mahesh Babu are very impressive and look so energetic. He has completely gone overboard with the some of the mass dialogues in the film. We need only money not a film as compensation: Acharya buyers

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya debacle has left the entire trade circle as well as industry insiders shocked. Nobody expected the movie to perform as poorly as it has been doing. This terrible performance has left Acharya buyers in a distraught state.

Acharya had collected a share of 41Crs during its first-weekend run and the film is heading towards the biggest disaster in Telugu Cinema as the Theatrical Rights are valued at 133Crs. While Koratala Siva has promised his future films as compensation to Acharya buyers, they are not in any mood for it.

Instead, the distributors want straight-out monetary compensation for the film’s disastrous run. The movie is expected to bring out a loss of around Rs 90 crores. This is the biggest ever loss in Tollywood history. There were reports that the buyers will be offered Chiru’s upcoming film Godfather at discounted rates.
