This week will see the release of Bollywood’s most ambitious project Brahmastra. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead, this fantasy adventure film is a pan-India release and the lead cast along with director Ayan Mukherjee and producer Karan Johar have been extremely busy promoting the film all over.
Along with Brahmastra, Sharwanand, and Ritu Varma starter Oke Oka Jeevitham will also release on 9th September. Oke Oka Jeevitham is a sci-fi drama directed by Shree Karthick and has an ensemble case of Nasser, Amala, Vennela Kishore, and Priyadarshi.
While the concepts of both these films are quite unique, there is a small concern for both these film units. In Telangana, Ganesh Nimarjnam was announced on 9th September which is worrying the new releases as On Ganesh Nimarjana all the roads will be blocked and it’s not possible to watch the film in theatres for the audience. This will definitely affect the 1st-day collections of the movies.
Ranbir Kapoor desperately needs a massive hit after the disaster of his earlier project Shamshera. Similarly, back in Tollywood, Sharwanand has also been facing a string of failures like Aadavalllu Meeku Joharlu, Mahasamudram, and Sreekaram. This Friday is extremely crucial for both the heroes.
