Prashanth Neel developing a Marvel type universe

Prashanth Neel is one of the most sought-after directors in the South at the moment. With just three films, the young director has stamped his authority and has proven himself as the go-to commercial action filmmaker.

After the monstrous success of KGF2, he will be directing Prabhas in Salaar. The shoot already started last year and some amazing action sequences have already been shot featuring the ‘Young Rebel Star’. The producers are also leaving no stone unturned and are investing heavily in these fight sequences.

Post Salaar, Prashanth Neel will direct Jr NTR in NTR31. This will be a high-budget Pan India film that will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Neel is also in talks with some top Tollywood stars like Ram Charan.

Along with these exciting projects lined up next, KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur has made another massive announcement. The star producer who is also bankrolling Salaar has confirmed that they are planning to create a Marvel-like universe for KGF films.

“We are then going to start KGF3 with a plan to release in 2024. We are going to develop a Marvel-like universe!”, confirmed Vijay. This announcement has created a massive buzz online and the fans are excited beyond imagination.

Dil Raju makes a good move for F3 on ticket prices

Dil Raju, the producer of upcoming Venkatesh – Varun Tej starrer F3 movie has made a good movie on ticket prices. Recently all the movies got affected a lot with this ticket hike especially in Nizam. After the weekend the movies are failing to sustain at the box office. Dil Raju as said is not wanting any hikes for F3 movie in AP/TS.

Ticket prices hike has badly affected some of the recent films, including Acharya. Acharya went on to become the biggest disaster ever in Tollywood. High ticket prices is also a main reason for such result. Any film getting average or bad talk are getting out rightly rejected by the audiences. All these have made Dil Raju understand the situation and he is opting to not get the high ticket hikes for F3.

F3 starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen is doing massive pre-release business in all areas. The film is a sequel of the blockbuster F2 directed by Anil Ravipudi. F2 became a sensation in Sankranthi 2019 and became a biggest blockbuster for both Venkatesh and Varun Tej. The sequel F3 also stars the same cast with many other actors coming on board for the film.

F2 as said became a huge blockbuster for both Venkatesh and Varun Tej by grossing more than 140 crores worldwide. That film was also a great relief for Dil Raju. The sequel F3’s trailer was recently released on YouTube and the trailer made very good buzz carrying the same hype of its prequel. The movie is getting excellent offers and the theatrical business will be more than 60 crores. This will be worldwide record business for Venkatesh and Varun Tej.

On the other hand, Dil Raju, producer of the film is taking all necessary care and actions to make this a blockbuster again. He will not charge ticket hike for the film. Many films becoming flops recently has made Dil Raju to be cautious with the ticket price hike. The film’s release is slated to be on May 27th.

Amazon Prime announces Acharya streaming date

Acharya starring Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan is opting for an early streaming after the film’s debacle. Amazon prime video has announced the streaming date of Acharya as on May 20th. Acharya went on to become the biggest disaster ever in Tollywood. The film having two of the biggest stars of the current generation saw a loss close to 90 crores. The film was also replaced by KGF Chapter 2 and RRR at many centers.

Acharya had huge cast and also hype due to the film being Mega multi-starrer. The film was also directed by Koratala Siva. Koratala Siva is one of the top league directors of Tollywood. All his films were blockbusters and hits. This will be his first disaster film. However him and the team members are all tight lipped about the result of the film. Ram Charan who earlier wrote letter after his film Vinaya Vidheya Rama’s debacle too didn’t respond about the film’s result.

On the work front, Ram Charan is currently working in Shankar’s RC15 and Chiranjeevi is working in God father and Bholaa Shankar both being remakes of Lucifer and Vedhalam.

It is heard that Chiranjeevi wants to make huge changes in Bhola Shankar. Bhola Shankar is the remake of Ajith’s Vedhalam. Meher Ramesh is the director for Telugu version that is produced under AK entertainments banner.

Mahesh fans and audience are not happy with Thaman

Sarkaru Vaari Paata was released yesterday amidst massive buzz and celebrations. Mahesh Babu’s performance in the film is being termed as a one-man show and he has set the box office on fire with record numbers on opening day.

On it’s Day 1 the film has collected a share of ₹36.2Crs from Telugu states. Theatrical rights are valued at ₹98.5Crs. The film is doing equally well at the overseas market and is putting up sensational numbers. However, there are a couple of things that have dissatisfied the fans and the general audience about the film. That aspect is SS Thaman’s background music, especially during the action episodes.

During several interviews and social media posts, Thaman had mentioned that Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s BGM would be electrifying and that fans would love it. However, that is far from reality and has turned out to be one of the weak points of the film.

Thaman’s weak BGM mainly in the interval action block episode has irked many Mahesh fans who have started lashing out on Thaman on social media. The ace composers work for all of the previous Mahesh films have been extraordinary and his recent work in films like Akhanda and Bheemla Nayak was also terrific. This is why fans are even more upset with the way compositions turned out for Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

This trio is now doing a film under Eeshaan Surya’s direction. The comedy entertainer penned by G.Nageshwar Reddy has the screenplay written by Kona Venkat. The team announced the character names. Manchu Vishnu plays Gali Nageshwara Rao whereas Payal plays Swathi and Sunny plays Renuka. The other details are yet to be revealed.
