When any director has a disaster at the box office, the next few weeks are spent in the process of compensating for the losses. When Acharya crashed at the box office, Koratala Siva was forced to leave everything aside and focus on compensating the distributors.

After Liger, even Puri Jagan has been busy dealing with the Liger losses. After the disastrous showing of the film, there have been heavy losses incurred and the distributors are demanding compensation from Puri Jagan and Charmee Kaur.

Puri is ready to give the compensation but the distributors are not happy with the amount. According to them, the makers of Liger have got quite a bit of profit from the theatrical and non-theatrical business of the film.
