DJ Tillu director locked his next project

Vimal Krishna created sensation with DJ Tillu. Released in February, DJ Tillu became the first successful Telugu film 2022. Director Vimal worked as a co writer along with the hero Sidhu Jonnalagadda for DJ Tillu. Vimal and Sidhu are known to be friends even before working on the film.

Hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda is doing a role in the Telugu remake of Hindi Queen. He is currently enjoying the success of DJ Tillu. He created his own mark in the industry and will definitely rope in big projects soon. Meanwhile the director is also planning to go big.

Latest info is that the director Vimal Krishna is planning to do a movie with Akkineni hero. Seems like Vimal has narrated the plot to Naga Chaitanya and impressed him. The upcoming young director is currently working on full script. Let’s wait for the official announcement.

The film is releasing in 5 languages, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. It will release in theatres on July 22nd. Chandoo Mondeti is the director of the movie.

Production designer replaced midway for Ram Charan- Shankar film

Ram Charan and Shankar’s upcoming project RC15 has undergone a massive crew change. Shankar has replaced Ramakrishna who was handling the project’s production design after almost 50% of the shoot. Ramakrishna played a crucial role in the Amritsar, Vizag, and East Godavari schedules and his last-minute exit from this project has shocked many.

Reportedly, there were creative differences between the ace production designer and director Shankar. Ramakrishna had earlier worked with Ram Charan on Rangasthalam and his work was unanimously appreciated by all.

Now this Ram Charan and Shankar project will have National Award Winner Ravinder Reddy as the new production designer. Ravinder had earlier worked with Charan on Magadheera. It was for this project that the senior designer received national recognition.

RC15 is a political drama with a powerful message and is being made on a grand scale. This film is going to be on an anti-corruption theme. Ram Charan’s character is going to play an anti-corruption crusader in this social drama.

Dil Raju is producing the film while SS Thaman will compose the music for the film. Kiara Advani will play the lead role opposite Ram Charan in RC 15. The makers are aiming to release the film for Sankranti 2023.

RRR creates a new benchmark in Netflix

SS Rajamouli’s action drama RRR is creating benchmarks on OTT as well. After creating a massive storm at the worldwide box-office, this Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer premiered on Netflix and Zee 5 last month.

RRR has been watched for 18,360,000 hours on Netflix from 23rd May to 29th May. This has made it the most viewed non-English film on the platform. RRR’s success on OTT is also a testimony on the massive popularity earned by the trio of Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan.

The Hindi version is streaming on Netflix while Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions are streaming on Zee 5. Zee 5 had initially planned for a pay-per-view model for the film. Many movie lovers were opposed to this step and claimed this will only deter the audience from watching the film again. Hence the OTT giant scrapped this idea.

RRR’s digital rights fetched huge amounts for the makers last year and got them a record deal. Pen Studios had acquired the digital rights for this film which it later sold to Netflix for Hindi and Zee for other languages.

It has been a trend for Superstar Mahesh Babu to release a look or announce films for his Father Superstar Krishna Garu’s birthday. It was on this day in 2020 that Sarkaru Vaari Paata was officially announced. Similarly, a lot of other Mahesh films have been announced or some updates announced on this occasion for the past several years.

Fans were expecting something similar from Trivikram for this year as well. Everyone was expecting either a title reveal or some other update of SSMB28 on this day. However, much to fans’ disappointment no update was released.

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s much-awaited project SSMB28 was launched in a grand manner in Hyderabad earlier this year. This will be the third film for Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja.
