Now coming back to Salaar, this much-anticipated drama has been helmed by Prashanth Neel. Financed by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, the film will also star Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao in important roles.

Salaar was earlier slated to release in the cinema halls on 14 April. Although, the release was pushed as the production work took more time than expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. According to the most recent reports, the makers are planning to release the film in the second half of 2022. Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki is gearing up to release this Friday and it will be a true test of his stardom. His last few films such as Shyam Singha Roy, Tuck Jagadish, and ‘V’ didn’t exactly set the box-office on fire and left his fans and trade circles wanting more.

His work in Shyam Singha Roy was critically acclaimed and loved by the audience. But the film just fell short to reach its breakeven mark which is 24Crs. Overall the film recovered 97% of its theatrical business.

There was a time when Nani’s box-office record was the best among the mid-level heroes. Most of his films succeeded in collecting Rs 30Cr share and with MCA he joined the Rs 40 Cr share club. But the problem is he is still in the same of Rs 30Cr – 40Cr bracket.

Ante Sundaraniki’s worldwide theatrical rights are in the range of 33Cr. This is less than Ram and Devarakonda’s films. Ram and Vijay Devarakonda are now leading in this race with their pre-release business and upcoming crazy projects like ‘The Warrior’ and ‘Kushi’ respectively. In addition to this, both the heroes have pan-India projects lined up as well.

Hence, Nani needs to prove now that he can score big numbers and must rise back to his position.

Sources in Mumbai Police confirmed Monday that police patrolling outside actor Salman Khan’s apartment at Bandstand in Bandra (west) has been increased and security given to the actor has been beefed up after a threat letter was found near his residence Sunday morning.

Apart from Bandra police, the local crime branch of Mumbai Police has initiated a probe into the case. Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan, a screenwriter and film producer, approached the Bandra police Sunday after which an FIR was registered under Section 506 (2) (threat to cause death) of the Indian Penal Code.
Salim Khan told the police that he regularly takes morning walks on the Bandstand promenade and usually sits on a particular bench. The 86-year-old added that his bodyguard spotted a paper chit Sunday morning while he was resting on the bench. The letter reportedly stated, “Salim Khan, Salman Khan bahot jald aapka Moosewala hoga k G.B.L.B (You will become like Moosewala).”

The letter refers to Sidhu Moosewala, a popular rapper from Punjab who was shot dead on May 29, days after the Punjab government reduced his security cover. The police said GB and LB mean Goldy Brar, a Canada-based criminal, and Lawrence Bishnoi, a jailed gangster. Brar along with Bishnoi is said to have claimed responsibility for murdering Moosewala. One of the associates of Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, was arrested by Haryana police in 2018 as he was allegedly planning to kill Salman Khan. Though sources said that a police team from Bandra questioned Bishnoi on Monday, the Bandra police denied this but said he is a suspect and may be questioned in future.

Khan has not named anyone who he suspects to be behind the alleged threat. He told police that he cannot say who is behind the letter and why they are being threatened. Khan immediately alerted Bandra police after receiving the letter. A separate police team composed of a detection officer and men are checking CCTV cameras in the vicinity to get leads in the case. The police said there is no CCTV at the spot where the chit was dropped but efforts are underway to check cameras on the entire stretch.

The Bandra police recorded the statement of Salman Khan and two bodyguards of his father Salim. Prima facie based on the threat letter, we do suspect Bishnoi’s role and so investigations are on to find out if he is behind the crime, said police. “We are getting information on the previous threat received by Khan from Bishnoi,” said the officer. The police said this is the first threat received by the actor after the 2018 case.

Normally F3 collections are very huge for Venkatesh or Varuntej. 50Cr share is not an easy mark for Venkatesh or Varuntej film. If the film is sold at reasonable prices like 45 Cr the movie will be a successful film at box office.

Natural star Nani and Nazriya Nazim are pairing in Ante Sundaraniki film. Directed by Vivek Athreya, under Mythri Movies Production. As the film release is ahead this week, the team has kick started the promotions. Today during a interview, Hero Nani shared his experiences on making this film.

Nani says that the director Vivek Atreya has an original flair in his narration. He is very clear about what he wants. Also, the story he narrated to me is quite different and I loved the plot and said okay to him. He narrated the film superbly. The director wants Sundar to look as very innocent person. But in reality, he is a very cunning person and evokes superb comedy. Talking about co-star, When I and Vivek were discussing the film, we felt that a girl like Nazariya should do this role. One fine day, we felt that why not Nazariya does the film and we approached her. She loved the role and jumped on the project right away.

He added that his next film Dassara has wrapped up 25% of the film so far and it has been a rough ride so far. Dassara will be one of the rawest films in Telugu so far. I am super excited about it says Nani.
