Will Indian 2 release in theatres before RC 15?

Shankar and Ram Charan’s RC 15 started shooting earlier this year and was completing schedule after schedule at a great pace. Multiple schedules have already been shot all over India and a song was also shot on a massive scale in a typical Shankar style.

The movie features a great cast and crew and Ram Charan fans were excited to see him in a Shankar movie. There were plans to release this film for Sankranti 2023 and this would have been one of the fastest shot movies for Shankar in recent times.

However, with the roaring success of Vikram, Kamal Haasan is back in form and the makers of Indian 2 have decided to revive the project and start shooting. Now, Shankar is simultaneously shooting both projects. Kamal Haasan wants Indian 2 to be his next release and from the looks of it, even Shankar is focussing more on this sequel project.

According to the industry circles, Indian 2 has a chance to release before RC 15. Out of two one film will release in Summer and 2nd film will release in October/November. We have to see which film will takes the place first.

RC 15 stars Kiara Advani, SJ Surya, Anjali, Srikanth, Jayaram and others. Indian 2 on the other hand features Kajal Agarwal opposite Kamal Haasan. Both films are big-budget entertainers with great commercial elements and social messages.

Sankranthi 2023 war has already started between Mega fans and Prabhas fans

The release of the Adipurush teaser has now opened up a war of words between Mega fans and Prabhas fans. Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Prabhas’ Adipurush have both announced their release date for Sankranti 2023.

The teaser has attracted trolling from all sections and many are lashing out at Om Raut for terrible VFX and execution of his vision. Even Prabhas fans are extremely unhappy and they are attacking Om Raut on social media.

Coming to the upcoming Sankranti clash, the trolls are getting bigger from both sides and despite the teaser quality of Adipurush, this competition will be one of the biggest clashes for Telugu markets. Both film units are confident of success and the fans are claiming that their film will crush its opponent.

Adipurush stars Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan while Bobby’s Waltair Veerayya stars Shruti Haasan opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi with Ravi Teja playing an extended cameo.

This year, we were supposed to see Bheemla Nayak, RRR, and Radhe Shyam on screen for the festive season. However, all three moved to a later date leaving the festive season for smaller films. With Adipurush and Waltair Veerayya, Sankranti 2023 is going to bring back the massive excitement that the fans missed for Sankranti 2022.

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan Crosses 200 Crore Mark At Box Office; Sensational Weekend

Mani Ratnam’s dream project Ponniyin Selvan has finally hit the theatres and the response is overwhelming.

Rajamouli strongly focussed on the Oscars

SS Rajamouli’s RRR was a massive success at the Box office but not a huge blockbuster like Baahubali2. However, the biggest success of RRR was in the cultural impact it created world over. The multistarrer was received well after releasing OTT especially the American audience has taken the movie next level with their appreciation.

Even The big names of Hollywood have also praised the RRR. So this may be the main reason for Rajamouli to feel the movie has high chance to get Oscar. The team behind RRR put great efforts for it to get nominated for Oscars as the official entry from India. However, Indian government felt otherwise and nominated Chello Show- a Gujarati film.

So Rajamouli looking for other options to get the Oscars. Recently, a screening was organized in Los Angels and the movie and Rajamouli received a terrific response. The surprising factor is that even the media mentioned the movie as a frontrunner for the Oscars. It appears that the ace director is leaving no stone unturned and is putting up a solo fight for the prestigious award.

Bollywood star hero offering 50% off on tickets to bring the audience to theatres

Bollywood has been going through a lean phase in 2022. While some movies like Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, Jug Jug Jiyo, etc. performed well, the majority of other star films like Laal Singh Chaddha, Samrat Prithviraj, Attack, Raksha Bandhan, etc failed miserably. Bollywood Stars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and John Abraham all have faced massive failures.

While Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra opened brilliantly, it couldn’t sustain the momentum and become the absolute blockbuster it was expected to be. This is why Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is taking no chances for his upcoming film Drishyam 2. In order to register a solid opening, Drishyam 2 makers have decided to give 50% off on tickets on an opening day.

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 is a remake of Mohanlal’s 2021 blockbuster. Mohanlal’s Drishyam 2 was a sequel to his 2014 film and it was released directly on Amazon Prime with terrific reviews. Drishyam 2 stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshay Khanna in key roles. The film will release on 18th November.
