Shankar and Ram Charan’s RC 15 started shooting earlier this year and was completing schedule after schedule at a great pace. Multiple schedules have already been shot all over India and a song was also shot on a massive scale in a typical Shankar style.
The movie features a great cast and crew and Ram Charan fans were excited to see him in a Shankar movie. There were plans to release this film for Sankranti 2023 and this would have been one of the fastest shot movies for Shankar in recent times.
However, with the roaring success of Vikram, Kamal Haasan is back in form and the makers of Indian 2 have decided to revive the project and start shooting. Now, Shankar is simultaneously shooting both projects. Kamal Haasan wants Indian 2 to be his next release and from the looks of it, even Shankar is focussing more on this sequel project.
According to the industry circles, Indian 2 has a chance to release before RC 15. Out of two one film will release in Summer and 2nd film will release in October/November. We have to see which film will takes the place first.
RC 15 stars Kiara Advani, SJ Surya, Anjali, Srikanth, Jayaram and others. Indian 2 on the other hand features Kajal Agarwal opposite Kamal Haasan. Both films are big-budget entertainers with great commercial elements and social messages.
