నా సినిమా నీకు.. నీ సినిమా నాకు అంటున్న తెలుగు హీరోలు

సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఒక హీరో చేయాల్సిన సినిమా మరో హీరో సినిమా వద్దకు చేరడం అనేది సర్వ సాధారణం. ఇక ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు కొన్ని సార్లు సూపర్ హిట్ కూడా అవుతాయి, కోన్ని అట్టర్ ఫ్లాప్ లు కూడా అవుతాయి. ముందుగా దర్శకుడు ఒక హీరోను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని కథను రాసుకున్నప్పటికీ .. ఒక్కోసారి హీరోకి ఆ కథ నచ్చకపోవడం, లేదా డేట్స్ సర్దుబాటు అవ్వకపోవడం వంటి కారణాలతో అదే కథలో కొన్ని మార్పులు చేసి ఇంకో హీరోతో సినిమా తీయడం లాంటివి చాలా సార్లు జరిగింది.

ఉదాహరణకు గతంలో వచ్చిన “మనసంతా నువ్వే” సినిమాని తీసుకుంటే.. ఆ సినిమాలో హీరో ఉదయ్ కిరణ్ అన్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. కానీ ఆ చిత్రం రూపు దాల్చే ముందు మహేష్ బాబును హీరోగా నిర్మాత ఎం ఎస్ రాజు అనుకున్నారట. అయితే కొన్ని కారణాల వలన మహేష్ ఆ సినిమా చేయలేదు అనుకోండి.. అది వేరే విషయం. అలాగే మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి సినీ కెరీర్ లోనే ఒక మైలురాయి గా నిలిచిన సినిమా “ఖైదీ”. సినిమాని మొదట సూపర్ స్టార్ కృష్ణ గారితో చేద్దాం అనుకున్నారు.

అయితే ఇన్నేళ్ల తరువాత మళ్ళీ తెలుగు చిత్రసీమలో ఒక హీరో సినిమా మరో హీరోకు వెళ్లడం అనే కొత్త ట్రెండ్ మొదలయింది. అల్లు అర్జున్ – కాంబినేషన్లో వచ్చిన “పుష్ప” సినిమా కథ ముందుగా మహేష్ వద్దకు వెళ్ళింది. అయితే ఇతర సినిమాల డేట్స్ క్లాష్ అవడం వంటి కారణాలతో ఆ సినిమా నుంచి మహేష్ తప్పుకున్నారు. ఇక అల్లు అర్జున్ దర్శకుడు కొరటాల శివ దర్శకత్వంలో చేయాల్సిన కథ చేతులు మారి జూనియర్ ఎన్టీఆర్ తో చేస్తున్నారు.

ఇక పన్నెండేళ్ళ తరువాత మహేష్ – త్రివిక్రమ్ కాంబినేషన్లో వస్తున్న సినిమా కథ కూడా మొదట ఎన్టీఆర్ తో అనుకున్నదే. కానీ ప్రి ప్రొడక్షన్ దశలోనే ఆ చిత్రం కూడా చేతులు మారింది. ముందుగానే చెప్పుకున్నట్లు ఇలా హీరోలు మారిన సినిమాలు ఒక్కోసారి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ లు అవుతాయి అలాగే భారీ డిజాస్టర్లు గా కూడా నిలుస్తాయి. మరి చిత్రీకరణలో ఉన్న ఈ పెద్ద హీరోల సినిమాలలో ఏవి హిట్ లు అవుతాయో, ఎవి పరాజయం పాలవుతాయో, ఎవరి అదృష్టం ఎలా ఉందో చూద్దాం.

Karthikeya2 Again Postponed for One More Month

Karthikeya 2 might be postponed again. Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 has been postponed from time to time because of various other movie releases. The initial date that team has in mind was July, 22 to release the movie. They have announced it officially too.

But then came in Thank you the movie starring Naga Chaitanya. Producer of Thank You, Dil Raju have asked Karthikeya 2 team to postpone their movie to a later date. The team obliged and did the same. Now they are unable to find a suitable date in August as Kalyan Ram’s Bhimbisara is going to hit the screens on August 8th.

Karthikeya 2 team tried to get them postpone their movie but weren’t successful. Now they don’t have any other option other than releasing their movie in September. This postponing had an impact on the movie without a doubt. But if it is as engaging as the first part, then it will surely make its mark.

Karthikeya 2 is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and is starring Nikhil and Anupama in the lead roles. The trailer of the movie was gripping and we have to see how the actual movie will be. The movie is produced by Abhishek Agarwal. Anupam Kher is playing an important role in the film.

Present Tollywood: One Hero’s Story is Another Hero’s Movie

There has been a new trend in Tollywood right now. A director and hero come together to shoot a movie, then with creative differences that movie falls apart. Director ropes in another hero and hero works with another director. This has become increasingly common among the Tollywood directors and heroes right now.

Sukumar narrated Pushpa story to Mahesh Babu first. But there were certain creative differences between them and the project landed in Allu Arjun’s hand. Allu Arjun and Koratala Siva announced a project together in 2020 but now the movie is being shot with NTR as the lead.

Trivikram had plans to do a film with NTR and now Mahesh Babu is working with him. Likewise, there are so many stories that are doing rounds in between heroes and then landing in another hero’s lap. Right now the swapping has been a good thing for Allu Arjun as he went to gain craze from other states with Pushpa.

We have to see how it is going to work for NTR and Mahesh Babu. Koratala and NTR’s movie story is going to be finalized soon and it will go on to sets as soon as possible. The team is aiming for summer release, so we have to wait and see what happens.

Ever since the announcement of SSMB28, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates about the film. With the combination of Trivikram and Mahesh Babu back again, the audiences cannot wait to see what is in store.

The duo has made one of the cult classics of Telugu- Athadu, which is celebrated by film fans even today. The sort of buzz and wave that Athadu created cannon be matched to this date. Following this, they collabed once again for Khaleja, which was critically acclaimed but commercially declined.

Post the success of Akhanda, Balakrishna has truly been unstoppable. He is currently shooting for Gopichand Malineni’s untitled mass actioner NBK107. From the first look and the teaser of the film, fans can expect Balayya in a massy rugged avatar.

Following NBK107, Balakrishna has also officially signed a film with director Anil Ravipudi. Anil Ravipudi has mentioned in multiple interviews that he wants to show Balakrishna in a funny avatar. The director also said that Balayya has very good comedic timing and I can utilize that in the film.

Anil is almost done with the scripting work of the film and the movie will go on floors once Balakrishna is done shooting for NBK107. According to news from the industry circles, Anil Ravipudi has planned on keeping the title of the film as ‘Bro I don’t care’.

But, Balakrishna has not approved of the title and is asking the director to change it. Balayya has said that he does not like the title as it is not apt for Telugu audiences. Instead, he has asked Anil to go for a more massy title in Telugu.

It is yet to be seen whether Anil will stick with the original title or make changes. Anil Ravipudi is one of the most successful directors in the industry right now. He has delivered only commercially successful films at the box office. It will be crucial for him to follow his gut instinct and not fall prey to the star power of Balayya as we have seen the result of that with Acharya.

Akhil Akkineni’s Agent is one of the most exciting projects currently brewing in Tollywood. From the first look to the teaser now, the expectations have been growing from height to height. A few days ago, the teaser of the film was released and has received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.

It is very clear from the teaser that the film has been made on a huge budget and it is crucial for the film to perform well in all languages to be deemed a hit. The movie is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada as well as in Malayalam.

The makers of Agent are currently looking at a potential Christmas release for the film. However strong the buzz for Agent is, the question that remains is whether Agent can compete with Avatar: The Way of Water at the box office.

Agent is no doubt a crazy film but if there is one movie that is crazier, it is Avatar. The second installment of the Avatar series has a lot of hype riding on it and if it gets positive talk from audiences, Agent might struggle to compete.

There is no doubt that the theatre market has gone down drastically in the last few years. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, theatres have had to suffer a lot in the recent past. The Active Telugu Film Producers Guild has been looking at this problem keenly and has been conducting meetings to discuss the same.

The main agenda put forth by the producers is to release the film on OTT only after 50 days. This way, the movie will enjoy a solid theatrical run, making the producers, distributors as well as exhibitors happy. While this is a noble idea, there is a bigger issue at hand.

The main problem as to why films are suffering on the big screen is the exorbitant ticket rates. The big star hero films will somehow bring back the money spent due to their star power but the medium budget films fail to do so.

The question is why are medium-budget movies also releasing their films with 200,250 and 150 rupees ticket prices. Their theatrical business is minimum and these films can easily recover their amount with standard rates like 80,100 and 120 rupees. But for some reason, the producers are not taking this aspect into consideration.

All the active film producers are saying only one thing, “Our film is releasing at low ticket prices.” But even those prices are not low enough for most audiences. A prime example of this was Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki which suffered at the box office due to high ticket rates, despite garnering positive reviews.

అక్కినేని నాగ చైత‌న్య హీరోగా నటించిన తాజా సినిమా “థాంక్యూ”. ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత దిల్‌రాజు నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ సినిమాకి దిగ్గజ ఆడియో సంస్థ ఆదిత్య మ్యూజిక్ సహా నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరిస్తుంది. శ్రీమ‌తి అనిత స‌మ‌ర్ప‌ణ‌లో శ్రీ వెంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర క్రియేష‌న్స్ బ్యాన‌ర్‌ పై దిల్‌ రాజు, శిరీష్ నిర్మించిన చిత్రం ‘థాంక్యూ’. విక్రమ్ కె.కుమార్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. జూలై 22న సినిమా విడుదల కానుంది.

ఈ చిత్రంలో నాగ చైతన్య ఓకే పాత్రలో మూడు విభిన్న షేడ్స్‌లో కనిపించనున్నారు. రాశీ ఖన్నా, మాళవికా నాయర్‌, అవికా గోర్‌ హీరోయిన్లుగా నటించారు. ఇదిలా ఉండగా ఈ శ‌నివారం చిత్ర యూనిట్ వైజాగ్‌లో ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్‌ను నిర్వ‌హించింది. మొదట్లో ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాలు జోరుగా సాగినా.. ఆ తరువాత ఈ సినిమాకి సరైన విధంగా ప్రచారం జరగలేదని.. నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు పై అక్కినేని అభిమానులు కాస్త అలక బూనిన మాట వాస్తవం.

ఆ విషయం అలా ఉంచితే.. ఇటీవల ఈ సినిమా నిడివి గురించిన ఒక వార్త ప్రచారంలోకి వచ్చింది. 2:51 నిమిషాలు అంటే దాదాపు మూడు గంటల నిడివి “థాంక్యూ” సినిమా ఉండబోతోందనే వార్త విని అక్కినేని అభిమానులు కాస్త ఉలిక్కిపడ్డారు. ఎందుకంటే అంత నిడివి ఉంటే..సినిమా ఎంతో అత్యద్భుతంగా ఉంటేనే అంత నిడివి ఉన్నా బోర్ కొట్టకుండా ప్రేక్షకులు ఆనందించే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.

మరి థాంక్యూ లాంటి ఫీల్ గుడ్ సినిమాకి అంత నిడివి అనవసరం అన్న మాటలు వినిపించగా.. ఆ సూచనలు అన్నీ పరిగణలోకి తీసుకుని చిత్ర యూనిట్ సినిమా నిడివిని రెండు గంటల తొమ్మిది నిమిషాలకు (2 hr 9 mins) కుదించినట్లు తెలుస్తుంది.

దర్శకుడు విక్రమ్ కుమార్ ఇదివరకు తీసిన అన్ని చిత్రాలు కూడా ఎక్కువ నిడివి గలవే. మనం,24, గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్ వంటి చిత్రాలు అన్నీ ఆ కోవకు చెందినవే. మరి తక్కువ నిడివి వల్ల “థాంక్యూ” సినిమాకు మంచి జరుగుతుందా లేక చెడు జరుగుతుందా చూడాలి.

గతంలో కొరటాల శివ దర్శకత్వంలో వచ్చిన “భరత్ అనే నేను” చిత్రంలో మహేష్ బాబు ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా కనిపించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.మరి మాటల మాంత్రికుడు త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ దర్శకత్వంలో రాజకీయాలపై సినిమా అంటే ఈ విధంగా ఆ సినిమా ఉంటుందో.. మహేష్ ను ఏ స్థాయిలో చూపిస్తారో అని అభిమానులు ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు.
