It is already know that Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are locking horns for 2023 Sankranthi race. These veteran actors have competed many times during Sankranthi season. Fans and movie lovers are eagerly waiting to see this contest between their favourite heroes.

So far, Waltair Veerayya is ahead of Veera Simha Reddy in pre-release business. Ceeded is the strong area for both these superstars. Balayya’s last movie Akhanda had a massive run in Ceeded collecting more than 15 crores share. There are dozens of Chiranjeevi movies in the past that made fabulous numbers.

Deals for Waltair Veerayya & Veera Simha Reddy’s ceded territory were recently completed. Megastar movie was offered 16 crores and Balayya’s faction movie could only garner 12 crores deal.

This shows clear domination of Chiranjeevi even in the strongest zone of Balayya which is Rayalaseema – Ceeded. Waltair also being a mass entertainer with additional advantages like Raviteja doing a guest role and Chiranjeevi being in his elements like comedy and massy look.

Despite Chiru’s domination, distributors are eager to buy these movies and test their luck. Hence the prices are soaring much above than the average box office collections.

The festival advantage might help the buyers recover their investments. Hope both movies become blockbusters and make the distributors and exhibitors happy since they are seeing a dull phase since dusserah.

Tollywood ace producer Dil Raju has decided to fight it out the hard way with Mythri Movie Makers. And the battleground will be Sankranti 2023 where both the production houses will be releasing their big-ticket movies.

While Mythri is coming up with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, Raju as of now has only Varisu/Varasudu on cards. However, after Mythri Movie Makers announcement, he is planning to release 2 more films for the festive season.

It all started when Mythri Movies decided to not give their movies to Dil Raju for Nizam distribution. Mythri will have started their own distribution in Nizam and will give direct competition to Dil Raju.

This Sankranti season was supposed to be an exciting one but with Adipurush and Akhil’s Agent backing out, there will now be two major exciting clashes. The first one is between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. Both the senior stars are clashing after 6 years at the box office. The second clash will be between Mythri and Dil Raju.

Prabhas’ Adipurush created great buzz and interest in the trade circles as well as among film lovers right from the day of its announcement. Everyone was eager to catch what Om Raut has in store and how he would present Ramayana with heavy VFX.

The teaser release though turned out to be a disappointing fare and Om Raut and team received negative reviews from almost all sections. This led the team to return to the drawing board and re-do the visual effects.

Adipurush movie demands huge VFX work and the makers have already spent a significant amount on this but shockingly the teaser VFX received a unanimously negative response from the audience. With no other choice, the makers have started re-working the VFX and because of this, the budget has increased by 25% – 30%.

By the time the movie releases the budget will be easily over 550Cr and we have to see how producers recover this budget. The main challenge in front of Adipurush makers is to come up with quality VFX to satisfy the audience.

గత కొన్ని రోజులుగా సినీ ప్రియులందరి చేతా విశేష స్థాయిలో ఆదరించబడుతున్న చిత్రం కాంతార. ఓ వైపు అద్భుతమైన ప్రశంసలను అందుకుంటూ మరో వైపు అన్ని చోట్లా థియేట‌ర్ల వద్ద సంచలనం సృష్టిస్తోంది. కాగా ఈ చిత్రం ఇప్ప‌టి వ‌ర‌కు 300 కోట్ల‌కు పైగా గ్రాస్ కలెక్షన్లను వసూలు చేసి ఇంకా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద తన లాంగ్ రన్ ను కొనసాగిస్తుంది.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా కాంతార చిత్రాన్ని మొదట్లో నిర్మాతలు నవంబర్ 4 నాటికి OTTలో విడుదల చేయాలని సన్నాహాలు చేశారు. అయితే సినిమా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ గా రన్ అవటం చూసిన తర్వాత వారు తమ నిర్ణయాన్ని మార్చుకున్నారు. ఆ రకంగా కాంతార OTT విడుదల తేదీ నవంబర్ 18కి వాయిదా పడింది.

నిజానికి కన్నడ పరిశ్రమ నుంచి ఒక చిన్న చిత్రంగా విడుదలైన కాంతార.. ఊహించని విధంగా రోజు రోజుకూ అన్నిరకాలుగా అద్భుతమైన స్పందన తెచ్చుకుని తెలుగు, హిందీ, తమిళ మరియు మలయాళ భాషల్లో విడుదల అయింది.ఇక విడుదలైన ప్రతి భాషలో కూడా కాంతార చిత్రం అద్భుతంగా ప్రదర్శింపబడింది.

ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగు, హిందీ రెండు భాషల్లోనూ ఈ సినిమా దూసుకెళ్లింది. హిందీలో ఈ చిత్రం యొక్క నిలకడైన మరియు పటిష్టమైన రన్ చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోవడం ట్రేడ్ వర్గాల వంతయింది.అందువల్లనే OTTలో తొందరగా విడుదల చేయడం ఎంతమాత్రం తెలివైన నిర్ణయం కాదని అందరూ భావించారు. ఎందుకంటే OTT విడుదల వల్ల థియేటర్లలో వాక్-ఇన్‌లకి తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బతీసే ప్రమాదం ఉంది.

కాంతార ఒక గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత నేపథ్యంలో రూపొందిన జానపద థ్రిల్లర్‌ అవటం వలన ఆ సినిమాని థియేటర్ లోనే సరైన విధంగా ప్రభావం చూపుతుంది. కాబట్టి OTT విడుదలను వాయిదా వేయడం వల్ల సినీ ప్రేమికులు కూడా థియేటర్‌లలో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని వీక్షించే అవకాశం ఎక్కువగా ఉండటం ప్రశంసనీయం.

అయితే ఇప్పటికీ కాంతార విడుదలై దాదాపు 7 వారాల తర్వాత కూడా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద నెమ్మదించడం లేదు. ఈ క్రమంలో వినిపిస్తున్న తాజా వార్త ఏమిటంటే, OTT విడుదల తేదీని మార్చడానికి OTT స్ట్రీమింగ్ ప్లాట్‌ఫామ్ అమెజాన్ ప్రైమ్ వీడియోతో సినిమా నిర్మాతలు మళ్లీ చర్చలు జరుపుతున్నారట. కొత్త OTT విడుదల తేదీ నవంబర్ నెలాఖరులో ఉంటుందని అంటున్నారు.

కాంతార సినిమాని యావత్ భారత దేశం లోని సినీ ప్రేక్షకులందరూ ఆదరించారు. మిగతా ఏ పరిశ్రమలో కూడా సరైన సినిమా లేకపోవడంతో థియేటర్లు ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్నాయి. బహుశా చాలా రాష్ట్రాల్లో పాజిటివ్ షేర్ సాధిస్తున్న సినిమా కాంతారనే. కావున కాంతార OTT విడుదలను నవంబర్ నెలాఖరుకి వాయిదా వేయడం అనేది సంపూర్ణంగా సమర్థించదగినదే అని అందరూ భావిస్తున్నారు.

Kantara, the recent Sandalwood sensation is rocking theaters everywhere. The movie has so far collected over 300 crores and still running. It’s OTT release is much awaited as well. Initially the makers have planned to go on OTT by 4th of November itself.

After seeing the successful run at the box office, there seems to be a change of heart in the makers. The OTT release was postponed to 18th November and rightly so. The movie has surpassed the latest releases in both Telugu and Hindi. Hence any premature release in OTT wouldn’t be a wise decision. OTT release would severely dent the walk-ins in theaters.

Kantara being a rustic folklore thriller is ideally suited for the theater experience, hence movie lovers also having little more opportunity to view it in theaters is appreciable.

Theaters are suffering with absence of good content also seeing Kantara as a bit of relief. Probably it is the only movie that is giving positive share in many states. Hence the decision of postponing Kantara to nov 18th was perfectly justifiable.

But still Kantara is not slowing at the box office even after almost 7 weeks of it’s release, so the latest news is that the makers of the movie are again in talks with the OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video to change the release date of OTT. The new OTT release date is said to be in november month end.

రెండు రోజుల క్రితం తెలుగు మీడియాతో జరిగిన ఒక ప్రెస్ మీట్‌లో సీనియర్ నటుడు, సినీ నిర్మాత అర్జున్ సర్జా యువ హీరో విశ్వక్ సేన్ పై తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. విశ్వక్ సేన్ నిర్లక్ష్య వైఖరి మరియు వృత్తిపరమైన ప్రవర్తన లేకపోవటం పట్ల అర్జున్ చాలా కలత చెందినట్లు కనిపించారు.

కథలోని మార్పుల విషయంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి ఆలోచనలను తీసుకునేందుకు తాను ఎప్పుడూ ఓపెన్‌గా ఉంటానని విశ్వక్ చెప్పారు. అలాగే తాను సినిమా నిర్మాణ ప్రక్రియలో పాల్గొంటానని అంగీకరిస్తున్నానని, కానీ ఇతరుల పనుల్లో ఎప్పుడూ జోక్యం చేసుకోనని చెప్పారు. అంతే కాదు, కొన్ని విషయాల పై చర్చించేందుకు షూట్‌ని ఒకరోజు వాయిదా వేయాలని అర్జున్ ను కోరినట్లు తెలిపారు.

అలాగే అర్జున్‌ని చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి ఒక ఆదర్శంగా చూసాను కాబట్టే ఈ సినిమా చేయడానికి అంగీకరించానని.. అయితే అర్జున్ తాను అడిగిన మార్పులను స్వీకరించెందుకు సిద్ధంగా లేడని తనకు అర్థమైందని విశ్వక్ చెప్పారు. ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో సినిమా ఫలితం పై అనుమానం రావటంతో సినిమా నుండి తప్పుకున్నట్లు విశ్వక్ చెప్పారు.

It was already reported that senior actor and filmmaker Arjun Sarja made some strong allegations about young hero Vishwak Sen in a press meet with Telugu media a couple of days back. Arjun seemed very upset without Vishwak Sen’s reckless attitude and unprofessional behavior.

Responding to Arjun’s comments, Vishwak Sen last night at a filmy event said From Vellipomakey to Ori Devuda, he always worked with the young directors, and he believes in teamwork and tries to make the effect come out with the combined efforts.

Vishwak also said that he was always open to ideas from everyone within the team. He said that he agrees that he involves in the filmmaking process, but he’ll never interfere in other’s work. He said that he never walked out of the film. Furthermore, he informed that he asked to postpone the shoot for a day to discuss a few things.

Also, Vishwak said that agreed to do the film only because of sheer respect for Arjun as he has seen him since childhood like an inspiration, but later he understood that Arjun was not ready to change anything which he asked for, so he felt uncomfortable and doubtful regarding the film and hence opted out of the film.

As a reply to unprofessional actor comments from Arjun, Vishwak Sen said that he’s a very committed and professional actor. He said that he’s ready to walk away from the industry even if a light boy says that he is not committed to the work. Concluding his statement, Vishwak Sen asked for apologies from Arjun and his team if they felt insulted by him.

Actor Arjun – Vishwak Sen collaboration cancelled because of the creative differences between the actor and director, it is being said Actor Arjun has now found the replacement. It appears that Arjun feels that Hero Sharwanand will be the right choice for the film, and he also feels that the film’s range will get much bigger if Sharwa is the hero of the movie.
