JR.NTR Is Spot On About Footfalls In Bimbisara’s Pre-Release Event

Recently the Telugu Film Industry is in a bit of a slump. Most of the recent releases have failed to pull audiences into the theatres and the theatrical business is at an all-time low. Only the big budget large-scale movies are performing well and the small/medium budget movies are getting washed out to the shores.

In the recent past alone, a movie with good content like Ante Sundaraniki underperformed. Whereas average movies like The Warrior, Thank You and now Ravi Teja’s Ramarao On Duty have all been box office duds.

But JR.NTR had something else to say about this current phenomenon. In the pre-release event of Bimbisara, JR.NTR said this, “I don’t agree if anyone says that the audiences are not coming to the theatres. If the content is great the Telugu audiences will definitely watch the film in theatres. The audiences are the kindest people, they will always appreciate a good film.”

Jr.NTR also went on to talk about how BImbisara will bring the audiences back into the theatres. “Bimbisara is a grand movie and it will definitely bring back audiences into the theatres. I have seen the movie and it trust me, you will remember Kalyan Ram’s career before Bimbisara and after Bimbisara from here on.”

There has never been so much hype for a Kalyan Ram film before. Ever since the first look and teaser, the hype has only been growing. Everything looks positive for Kalyan Ram at the moment and if things go to plan, he will have a solid blockbuster in his hands.

Bimbisara also stars Catherine Tresa, Vennela Kishore and Srinivasa Reddy in important roles. K Vashishta is the director of the movie and NTR Arts has produced the film. MM Keeravani is the music director and the film will release on 5th August.

Dil Raju seems to be creating a lot of enemies at present. There is no doubt that he is one of the most influential producers in the Telugu Film Industry but he is caught in a hot mess right now. His last few movies have been disasters at the box office and his decisions haven’t been great either.

Just yesterday, producer Ashwini Dutt spoke to the media regarding Dil Raju’s rules. He said that Dil Raju is the one that confuses the audiences, he will first raise the ticket rates and then promote the movie with low ticket rates.

Aswini Dutt made it very clear that he will not stop the shootings of his films. “Our productions will not be a part of Dil Raju’s rules. We will not continue our shooting” he added.

Today Bandla Ganesh is also talking against Dil Raju and the Producers Guild. Bandla Ganesh commented that no one has any right to reduce the remuneration of the actor or director. He also mentioned the irrelevance of a Producers Guild when a Producers Council already exists.

In his own words, “The decisions that are taken by the Guild are meaningless and every actor and director has their own market. No one should have any control over the remunerations of actors, that is a personal decision.

Naga Chaitanya As Bala In Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

Ever since the announcement of Naga Chaitanya in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, fans, and movie lovers, in general, have been waiting eagerly to know more about his character in the film. Just today, the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha released the character introduction video of Naga Chaitanya.

Chaitanya plays Balaraju Bodipalem, fondly referred to as Bala by everyone. A small-town aspiring soldier who is achieving his dream of becoming a soldier. Coincidentally, one of Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s most iconic films is also titled Balaraju.

In fact, Naga Chaitanya’s look in Laal Singh Chaddha is also very inspired by ANR’s look in Balaraju. He sports a lungi, a parted hairstyle, and a thin mustache line. Naga Chaitanya is also seen sporting a mouthpiece in the film that adds extra uniqueness to the character.

Along with snippets of Chaitanya’s look, the makers also released some scenes between him and Aamir. The chemistry between the two actors looks good on screen and it gives off good vibes in general. Aamir also had a lot to say about Chaitanya. In his words, “I got a lot of comfort working with him, he is such a team player. As an actor, he is so on point and focused.”

The director also showered high praises for his hard work in learning the Hindi language. “Sometimes, we had to tell him o tone the Hindi down because it was so perfect,” said director Advait.

Overall, the entire team of Laal Singh Chaddha had a lot of good things to say about Naga Chaitanya. His character in the film looks promising as well and we can hope for a solid film on 11th August 2022. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and Manav Vij in important roles.

తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమలో సీనియర్ నిర్మాత మరియు వైజయంతి మూవీస్ అధినేత అశ్వినిదత్ నిర్మించిన ‘సీతారామం’ చిత్రం ఆగష్టు 5న రిలీజ్ కి రెడీ అవుతోంది. ప్రేమకథా చిత్రాలను తెరకెక్కించడంలో తనదైన ముద్ర వేసిన దర్శకుడు హను రాఘవపూడి ఈ చిత్రానికి దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్, మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ ఈ చిత్రంలో జంటగా నటించారు. సుమంత్, రష్మిక మందన కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించారు. సినిమా విడుదల దగ్గర పడుతుండడంతో చిత్ర యూనిట్ ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాల జోరు పెంచారు.

ఓ పక్క హీరోలు పారితోషికాలు పెంచడం, మరో పక్క నిర్మాణ వ్యయం పెరిగిపోవడం గురించి అశ్వినీదత్ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. ఇక టికెట్ ధరలు అనేవి బయ్యర్లు, ఎగ్జిబిటర్లు కలిసి నిర్ణయించుకోవాలి. అలా కాకుండా నిర్మాతలు, హీరోలు ఆ విషయంలో జోక్యం చేసుకుని టికెట్ ధరలు పెంచడంతో.. అది కేవలం వారి స్వలాభం మరియు స్వార్థంతో చేసిన పని అని ప్రజలు భావించారు. వీళ్ళ రెమ్యునరేషన్స్ పెంచుకోవడం టికెట్ ధరలు పెంచుతున్నారు అని ప్రజలు అనుకున్నారు కాబట్టే.. ఆ ప్రభావం సినిమా ఫలితాల మీద పడటం మొదలైన తర్వాత మళ్ళీ టికెట్ ధరలు తగ్గిస్తున్నారు అని అన్నారు.

ఆర్టిస్టుల రెమ్యునరేషన్స్ కూడా ఒక నియంత్రణ లేకుండా ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లు డబ్బు తగలేసేది వీళ్ళే.. ఆ తరువాత మళ్ళీ నిర్మాణ వ్యయం పెరిగింది అంటూ షూటింగులు బంద్ చేసేది కూడా వీళ్ళే అంటూ అశ్విని దత్ దిల్ రాజు తదితరులపై మండి పడ్డారు. టికెట్ రేట్లు ముందు పెంచి ఆ తరువాత మళ్ళీ తగ్గించి ఇలా టికెట్ రేట్లను ప్రచారం చేసి ప్రేక్షకులని అయోమయంకు గురి చేసింది దిల్ రాజు అని అశ్వినీదత్ తీవ్రమైన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. వారి ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లు షూటింగ్ లను ఆపేయమంటే అందుకు ఒప్పుకునేది లేదని, గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు తప్ప ఎవరు.కూడా షూటింగ్ లను ఆపరు అని అశ్వినీదత్ అన్నారు.

ఇక యంగ్ రె బల్ స్టార్ ప్రభాస్ అభిమానులు ఆనందించే వార్త చెప్పారు అశ్వినిదత్. నాగ్ అశ్విన్ దర్శకత్వంలో ప్రభాస్ నటిస్తున్న ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె సినిమా అద్భుతంగా వచ్చిందని అన్నారు. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని అమెరికా, చైనాతో పాటు అనేక దేశాల్లో పాన్ వరల్డ్ స్థాయిలో విడుదల చేస్తామని ఆయన తెలిపారు. 2023 జనవరి కల్లా షూటింగ్ పూర్తవుతుంది. 8 నెలల పాటు గ్రాఫిక్స్ కు సంబంధించిన పనులు పూర్తి చేసి, కుదిరితే 2023 అక్టోబర్ 18న లేదా 2024 సంక్రాంతికి రిలీజ్ చేస్తాం అని అశ్విని దత్ అన్నారు.

Nizam Distributor Warangal Srinu Bad Phase Continues; Misses A Hit Film

Nizam distributor Warangal Srinu is currently going through a bad phase. He shot to fame with the distribution rights of Krack, which proved to be highly successful. After that, he distributed Allari Naresh’s Naandhi which also proved to be successful.

But the following few films have been disastrous ventures for Warangal Srinu. He acquired the Telugu version rights of Karthi’s Sulthan which failed to perform at the box office, ending up as a loss for the distributor.

But the biggest disaster of them all is Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharya. The distributor bought the Nizam rights for a whopping 36 crores and underwent a massive loss. Many people speculated that this was a huge setback and perhaps the end of his distribution career.

Just recently as well, Warangal Srinu had bought the rights to Sudeep’s Pan-Indian film Vikrant Rona. But for some reason, he was dropped from the project. Vikrant Rona was released in theatres and has opened very well in the Telugu states, especially in Srinu’s strong territory, Nizam.

Vikrant Rona has had a dream start in the Telugu states and it is all set for a good weekend. If Warangal Srinu had bought the rights to this film, then it might have provided him with some relief. But now he will have to wait and choose the right time to bounce back.

మాస్ మహరాజ్ రవితేజ ఫిబ్రవరిలో “ఖిలాడీ” సినిమా తరువాత రామారావు ఆన్ డ్యూటీ సినిమాతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చారు. శరత్ మండవ దర్శకత్వంలో దివ్యాంష కౌశిక్, రజీషా విజయన్ హీరోయిన్లుగా నటించిన రామారావు ఆన్ డ్యూటీ తెరకెక్కింది. జులై 29న ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా ప్రీమియర్ షోల టాక్ ఏలా ఉందో చూద్దాం.

కథ విషయానికి వస్తే.. రామారావు(రవితేజ) ఓ సిన్సియర్ డిప్యూటీ కలెక్టర్. రాయలసీమలో ఓ ప్రాంతానికి అధికారిగా వచ్చిన రామారావు, ఒకేసారి కనపడకుండా పోయిన ఇరవై మంది జాడ తెలుసుకోవాలని ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్ మొదలుపెడతాడు. కనపడకుండా పోయిన వాళ్ళు ఏమయ్యారు? వాళ్ళ అదృశ్యం వెనుక ఎవరున్నారు? ఈ మొత్తం కేసుని రామారావు ఎలా ఛేదించాడు? అనేది కథ.

దర్శకుడు శరత్ మండవ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని యాక్షన్ మరియ క్రైమ్ థ్రిల్లర్ గా తెరక్కించినట్లు తెలుస్తుంది. సినిమాలో ఎక్కువ శాతం ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్ సన్నివేశాలతో నిండి ఉంది. తమ వారు కనిపించకుండా పోయిన కొందరు పేదలు రామారావుని ఆశ్రయించడం, వాళ్ళ ఆచూకీ కోసం రామారావు అన్వేషించడం వంటి సన్నివేశాలతో ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ నడుస్తుంది. హీరో రవితేజ రామారావుగా కొత్త తరహా ఆహార్యంతో, మేనరిజంతో ఆకట్టుకున్నారు అని టాక్ వినిపిస్తుంది. అలాగే ఈ సినిమాలో పాటలు సినిమాకు మైనస్ అంటున్నారు. సీరియస్ గా సాగుతున్న సినిమాకి పాటలు అడ్డంకిగా మారాయి అని ప్రేక్షకులు అభిప్రాయ పడుతున్నారు.

హీరో క్యారెక్టర్ ను ఎస్టాబ్లిష్ చేయడానికి చాలా సమయం తీసుకున్న దర్శకుడు, మిస్సింగ్ కేసుల పాయింట్ ని సరైన విధంగా ప్రభావం చూపేలా తెర కెక్కించలేదని అంటున్నారు. సామ్ సీఎస్ పాటలు సినిమాలో ఇమడక పోయినా నేపథ్య సంగీతం మాత్రం బాగా ఇచ్చారని తెలుస్తోంది.

ఇక సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో పొలిటికల్ మాఫియాకి సంభందించిన సన్నివేశాలు కూడా అనుకున్నంత ఆసక్తికరంగా లేవని సమాచారం. ఎక్కడో మొదలైన కథ మంగళూరుకి.. మళ్ళీ అక్కడ నుండి ఇంకా ఎక్కడికో వెళ్లిపోయింది అని ప్రేక్షకులు పేర్కొన్నారు. అందువల్ల సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో సైతం సినిమా పరుగులు పెట్టలేదని దానికి కారణం బలహీనమైన కథనం, అనాసక్తికరంగా సాగిన ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్ సన్నివేశాలు అని అంటున్నారు. ఇలాంటి థ్రిల్లర్ సినిమాలకి ఉండాల్సిన పకడ్బందీ కథనం రామారావు ఆన్ డ్యూటీలో కరువయ్యింది అని ప్రేక్షకులు అభిప్రాయ పడుతున్నారు.

ఇక కలెక్షన్ల విషయానికి వస్తే, సినిమా బాక్స్ ఆఫీసు వద్ద బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ అవ్వాలి అంటే వరల్డ్ వైడ్ గా 18 కోట్ల కలెక్షన్లు సాధించాలి. ఓపెనింగ్ షో వరకూ అతి సాధారణ స్థాయిలో ఉన్న కలెక్షన్లు మరి ఇలాంటి మిక్స్డ్ టాక్ ను తట్టుకుని ఎలా గట్టెక్కుతుందా అనేది చూడాలి.

Post the debacle of Khiladi, Ravi Teja has decided to shift his focus from regular commercial entertainers to content-driven films. Ramarao On Duty is one such film that deals with an interesting plot and the investigation around it. Both Ravi Teja and director Sarath Mandava have expressed confidence in the project. But, can their confidence translate into success? Let’s check out

Story: B. Ramarao (Ravi Teja) is a sincere and dynamic Deputy Collector who takes all necessary steps to ensure justice. While on duty, he comes across horrific murders which lead to revelations about a big red sanders mafia. How he uncovers the mystery and brings perpetrators to justice is what the plot is about

Performances: Ravi Teja looks sharp as a Deputy Collector and has plenty of ‘mass’ moments in the film. However, the role made him suppress his usual energetic side which is a drawback to the movie. Subtlety doesn’t fit the ‘Mass Maharaja’ and you would often find yourself drifting away. Venu Thottempudi has got a substantial role as a C.I Jammi Murali and he plays a crucial role in the investigation. But his character is poorly written and you would hope there was more depth to his role. Nandini (Divyansha Kaushik and Deepa (Rajisha Vijayan) have limited roles and have no scope to perform and there are no special takeaways from their roles.

Analysis: Sarath Mandava has written the screenplay and dialogues as well and the dialogues often look out of sync. The first half is full of filler scenes and it is only towards the pre- interval that the movie kicks off the investigation part. The delay in setting the context and lack of interesting scenes in the first half creates a disconnect with the film. The second half is comparatively better but isn’t gripping enough and the twists are quite expected. The characters are poorly written and their motivations are not well established leading to disconnect.

Verdict: A shorter runtime with fewer songs and abrupt interruptions would have made the movie more enjoyable. The director’s decision to combine an investigative thriller with commercial cinema goes horribly wrong. Alas, Tollywood’s poor streak continues this week as well.

Whether you like it or not, the simple fact is that Dil Raju is one of the most influential producers in the Telugu Film Industry. He has also had the most success in the industry, with many hits to his name.

Owing to his reputation, naturally, a lot of producers in Tollywood tend to listen to him. Dil Raju, along with other producers in the industry have been conducting meetings regularly to work on the theatrical business.

The meetings are focused on various issues like OTT release gaps, remunerations of actors, budgets of the movies, ticket rates, and so on. The Dil Raju-led Active Telugu Film Producers’ Guild also conducted a meeting recently to stop the shootings of films from August 1st until a solution is found.

Most producers are with Dil Raju but Ashwini Dutt has decided to go his own path. In a recent interaction with the media, Aswini Dutt said that Dil Raju is the one that confuses the audiences. “He will first raise the ticket rates then promote the movie with low ticket rates.”

తమిళ స్టార్ హీరో ధనుష్ ఇప్పుడు తెలుగులోనూ స్ట్రయిట్ సినిమాలు చేస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు శేఖర్ కమ్ముల కాంబినేషన్ లో ఒక సినిమా ప్రకటించారు. అయితే ఆ సినిమా మొదలవడానికి కాస్త సమయం పట్టేలా ఉండటంతో ఈలోపు ఆయన మరో తెలుగు సినిమాకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు.

సితార ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్స్, ఫార్ట్యూన్ ఫోర్ సినిమాస్ సంస్థలు ధనుష్ తో తెలుగు, తమిళ భాషల్లో ‘సార్’ సినిమాని నిర్మిస్తున్నాయి. వెంకీ అట్లూరి దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్న ఈ సినిమాకు సంబంధించిన ఫస్ట్ లుక్ పోస్టర్ ను ఈ నెల 27న విడుదల చేసారు. అలానే ధనుష్ పుట్టిన రోజును పురస్కరించుకుని సినిమా టీజర్ ను 28న రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నట్టు నిర్మాతలు నాగవంశీ, సాయి సౌజన్య తెలిపారు.

‘యాన్ యాంబిషియ‌స్ జ‌ర్నీ ఆఫ్ ఎ కామ‌న్ మ్యాన్’ – అంటే ఒక సామాన్య పౌరుడి ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమైన ప్రయాణం అనేది ఈ సినిమా ముఖ్య కథా వస్తువుగా తెలుస్తుంది. మలయాళీ నటి అయిన, ‘భీమ్లా నాయక్’ తో తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించిన సంయుక్తా మీనన్ ఇందులో కథానాయికగా నటిస్తున్నారు.. సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్ దినేష్ కృష్ణన్, నేషనల్ అవార్డ్ విన్నింగ్ ఎడిటర్ నవీన్ నూలి ఈ చిత్రానికి పని చేస్తున్నారు. తమిళ యువ కెరటం జి.వి.ప్రకాష్ కుమార్ ఈ చిత్రానికి సంగీతం అందిస్తున్నారు.

టీజర్ చూస్తుంటే విద్యా వ్యవస్థలలో జరుగుతున్న అక్రమాలను చూపించడమే ముఖ్య కథగా తెరకెక్కినట్లు అర్థం అవుతుంది. విద్యార్థుల దగ్గర నుండి ఎక్కువ ఫీజులు దండుకుని విద్యను వ్యాపారంగా చూసే ఒక విద్యా సంస్థ.. దానికి ఎదురు నిలిచే ఒక జూనియర్ లెక్చరర్ గా ధనుష్ కనిపిస్తున్నారు. అయితే కేవలం సందేశం మాత్రమే కాదు మాస్ ప్రేక్షకులని అలరించే యాక్షన్ సన్నివేశాలను కూడా సినిమాలో రంగరించి ఉంచారు అని టీజర్ లో ఫైట్ల తాలూకు బిట్స్ చూస్తుంటే తెలుస్తుంది. ఇక టీజర్ చివరిలో ‘ విద్య అనేది దేవుడి దగ్గర పెట్టే నైవేద్యం లాంటిది.. దాన్ని పంచండి.. ఫైవ్ స్టార్ హోటల్ లో డిష్ లాగా అమ్మకండి ” అంటూ ధనుష్ చెప్పే డైలాగ్ ఆకట్టుకుంది.

యంగ్ రెబల్ స్టార్ ప్రభాస్ మరియు బాలీవుడ్ టాప్ హీరోయిన్ దీపికా పదుకునే జంటగా నటిస్తున్న సినిమా ‘ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె’. ‘మహానటి’ తర్వాత దర్శకుడు నాగ్ అశ్విన్ తెరకెక్కిస్తున్న సినిమా ఇదే. పైగా సైన్స్ ఫిక్షన్ కథతో రూపొందుతున్న ఈ సినిమా అత్యధిక బడ్జెట్ తో భారీ స్థాయిలో అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా రూపొందిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ చిత్రానికి నిర్మాత తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో అగ్ర నిర్మాతల్లో ఒకరైన సి అశ్వనీ దత్ గారు.

ఆయన తన రెండో బ్యానర్ అయిన స్వప్న సినిమా బ్యానర్ పై దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్ హీరోగా, మృణాల్ ఠాకూర్ హీరోయిన్ గా ‘సీతా రామం’ సినిమాను నిర్మిస్తున్నారు.ఆ చిత్రం ఈ నెల ఆగస్టు 5న విడుదల కానుంది. ఆ చిత్ర ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాలలో భాగంగా మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన నిర్మాత అశ్వినీదత్… ‘ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె’ విడుదల ఎప్పుడో చెప్పారు.

ఈ మేరకు వచ్చే ఏడాది జనవరిలో ‘ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె’ సినిమాకు సంబంధించిన చిత్రీకరణ పూర్తి అవుతుందని సి. అశ్వినీదత్ చెప్పారు. అలాగే పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ పనులకు కొంత సమయం పడుతుందని… ఆ పనులన్నీ పూర్తి చేసుకుని అక్టోబర్ 18, 2023న సినిమాను విడుదల చేయాలని భావిస్తున్నట్టు ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఒకవేళ ఇతర కారణాల వల్ల ఆ తేదీకి సినిమాని విడుదల చేయలేక పోతే 2024 సంక్రాంతికి సినిమాను ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు తీసుకు రావాలని అనుకుంటున్నట్లు నిర్మాత అశ్వినీదత్ తెలిపారు.

ప్రాజెక్ట్ కే చిత్రంలో బాలీవుడ్ షేహెన్షా అమితాబ్ బచ్చన్ ఒక ముఖ్య పాత్ర పోషిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ చిత్రంలో ఆయన పాత్ర అత్యంత శక్తివంతంగా ఉండబోతుందని అశ్వినీదత్ తెలిపారు. అలాగే బాలీవుడ్ హాటెస్ట్ బ్యూటీ హీరోయిన్ దిశా పటానీ కూడా ఈ చిత్రంలో కీలక పాత్రలో నటిస్తున్నారు.

‘ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె’ చిత్రాన్ని వైజయంతీ మూవీస్ సంస్థ నిర్మిస్తోంది. తెలుగు, తమిళ, హిందీ, కన్నడ, మలయాళ భాషలతో పాటు పలు అంతర్జాతీయ భాషల్లో సినిమాను విడుదల చేయడానికి సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు తెరపై రానటువంటి సరికొత్త కథాంశంతో ‘ప్రాజెక్ట్ కె’ తెరకెక్కుతోందని సమాచారం.
