Nandamuri fans split into NTR fans vs Balakrishna fans

Right from the time of the RRR release, NTR and his fans have been facing really tough times. Even NTR fans felt Rajamouli did great damage to NTR’s image and career by giving more importance to Ram Charan.

Even with his upcoming NTR30 with Koratala Siva, there has been no progress yet. While other stars like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Mahesh, Pawan, and Prabhas are busy with their movie shoots, NTR’s next project has not yet started even 6 months after RRR’s release.

Amidst these professional hurdles, NTR is now up against another problem. Recently, he responded to the issue of the change of name of NTR University. This statement was not liked by TDP supporters and the rest of Balakrishna fans. They felt that this was a diplomatic statement and equalized NTR and YSR and was not critical enough of YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s decision.

Many insiders feel that it would have been a much better option to not release a statement than to say something like this. TDP and other Balakrishna fans are now planning to boycott the celebrations for NTR movies. With so many issues cropping up, it would be great if NTR30 shooting starts and there is some distraction from all this.

Ahead of the release of Avatar: Way of Water later this December, the movie’s prequel Avatar was re-released on 23rd September. The movie opened to packed houses and the audience thronged the theatres to catch a glimpse of this visual wonder.

On Day 2, the movie fetched a solid Rs 3.68 crores nett all over India. The two-day collection of this action-adventure film stands at Rs 6.48 crores. On its release back in 2009, the epic sci-fi became the highest-grossing film of all time as well as the first to surpass $2 billion at the global box office. 

The film starred Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver in pivotal roles. Avatar: Way of Water will feature the same cast with the addition of Kate Winslet and Michelle Yeoh and it will release on 16th December 2022.

అయితే ఇక్కడ గమనించాల్సిన విషయం ఏమిటంటే.. యూనివర్శిటీ పేరును ఇలా ఇష్టమొచ్చిన రీతిలో మార్చేయడం వల్ల అందరి కంటే ఎక్కువ బాధ, ఇబ్బంది పడేది విద్యార్థులే.

టిడిపి పార్టీ నేతలు, లేదా ఆ పార్టీ శ్రేణులు కావచ్చు. విద్యార్థుల వైపు నిలబడి ఒక క్రమ పద్ధతిలో పోరాటం చేస్తే అది వారికి తప్పకుండా గౌరవం చేకూరుస్తుంది. అంతే కానీ సీనియర్ ఎన్టీఆర్ కు అవమానం జరిగిందంటూ మొత్తం వ్యవహారాన్ని కేవలం టిడిపి పార్టీ లేదా నందమూరి కుటుంబానికి మాత్రమే పరిమితం చేస్తే అది ఎంత మాత్రం సబబు కాదని పలు వర్గాల నుండి వాదన వినిపిస్తోంది. మరి ఈ వాదన లోనూ న్యాయం ఉంది కదా.

నైజాం ఏరియాను ఏషియన్ ఫిల్మ్స్‌ 25 కోట్లకు సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇక ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతం మొత్తం 35 కోట్ల ధరకు అమ్మబడింది. ఇక సీడెడ్ ఏరియాలో గాడ్ ఫాదర్ సినిమా own release అంటే సొంతంగా విడుదల అవుతుంది. ఓవరాల్ గా తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల బిజినెస్ మొత్తం చూసుకుంటే 73-74 కోట్ల వరకూ ఉండగా.. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా 87 కోట్ల మొత్తానికి ఈ చిత్రం బిజినెస్ జరిగింది.

ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న పరిస్థితుల్లో తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులలో మరియు ట్రేడ్ వర్గాలలో చిరంజీవి స్టార్‌డమ్‌కి గాడ్‌ఫాదర్ సినిమా ఒక కీలకమైన పరీక్షగా మారింది. ఈ సినిమా క్లీన్ హిట్ గా నిలవాలంటే ఎంత లేదన్నా 90 కోట్ల షేర్ ను వసూలు చేయాలి. కాగా గాడ్ ఫాదర్ అక్టోబర్ 5న మొత్తం 5 భాషల్లో భారీ స్థాయిలో విడుదల కానుంది. మోహన్ రాజా ఈ చిత్రానికి దర్శకుడు.

Samantha’s Yashoda has got full attention of fans as well as the trade circles. The recently released teaser has created great positive buzz and looking at the response to the teaser, the film is on the way to doing solid business.

Director duo Hari and Harish are handling the project which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukunadan will also be seen alongside Samantha in Yashoda.

Samantha’s Yashoda is a science fiction thriller and the makers- Sridevi Movies have stated that it’s a new age thriller that will surely give thrills and chills to everyone. The film has been set in lavish sets specially erected for special sequences.

It is a pan- India project and will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi apart from the original version of Telugu. The teaser featured Samantha in a completely new avatar. She is playing a pregnant woman who looks visibly tensed and is is on the run from enemies.

The ongoing controversy in AP regarding renaming NTR Health University to YSR University has now spread to film circles as well. As expected, Nandamuri Balakrishna responded to the issue in his usual manner and used some pretty strong words over this decision from the government.

Now, in response to this, YSRCP MLA and actress Roja has also hit back at Balayya using his own dialogue. She tweeted the famous ‘Flute’ dialogue from his blockbuster film Simha.

It will be interesting to see how Balakrishna responds to this statement from Roja. Even Jr NTR responded over the controversy a few days ago.

In a tweet, Jr NTR said, “Both NTR and YSR are great leaders who have gained immense popularity. The respect brought by replacing one’s name with another’s does not raise the stature of YSR, nor does it lower the stature of NTR. Renaming the university cannot erase the fame NTR earned, his stature in the history of the Telugu states, and his memories in the hearts of the Telugu people.”

Chiranjeevi’s Godfather Makers Now Selling The Film At Reasonable Prices; Pre-Release Business Details

With just a few weeks left for the release of Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, the pre-release business is in full swing. The makers are also planning heavy promotional including interviews, pre-release events, and so on.

At first, the makers of Godfather had quoted bloated prices for the film which discouraged many people from buying the film. After the disastrous result of Acharya, the distributors were worried about whether Godfather would be profitable at such huge prices.

Due to this, the makers decided to release the film on their own in all the territories. They were hellbent on releasing the film at the quoted price itself. But now for some reason, the makers have started selling the film at reasonable prices.

The Nizam area has been sold to Asian Films for 25 crores which is a fairly decent price. The Andhra region, comprising 6 territories has been quoted for 35 crores and the Ceeded region will be an own release. Overall, the Telugu states business is in the range of 73-74 crores and the worldwide business is somewhere in the range of 87 crores

Godfather is a very crucial test for Chiranjeevi’s stardom among the Telugu audience. The movie will have to collect at least 90 crores in shares to emerge as a clean hit. Godfather is releasing on October 5th in all 5 languages. Mohan Raja is the director of the film.
