Varisu is the most awaited film of Kollywood in the Pongal 2023 race. The business of this Thalapathy Vijay’s movie is closed, and the film is getting ready for the release.

Varisu did very good business and excluding Telugu states the film did close to 125 Crores theatrical business worldwide and nontheatrical business has also fetched huge numbers but because of heavy budget (Around 250 Crores) these amounts do not give profits to the film’s producer Dil Raju.

The film is releasing in Telugu states by Dil Raju on his own, which is profitable for him because whatever the movie collects in Telugu states will be a profit to Dil Raju.

Vijay has been building up his market with every film for the past 15 years. Vijay’s movies are creating a sensation at the box office, his films are expected to do a minimum 200 crores or 300 crores. Remarkably, his market is slowly increasing in Telugu as well.

Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead in this big-budget action flick, while SS Thaman will compose the music.

Varisu will have strong competition during its release from both Kollywood and Tollywood biggies. Ajith’s Thunivu, Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy, are also in the Sankranthi race.

Horror thriller Masooda is now streaming on OTT

Masooda is a horror thriller which the Telugu audience have been waiting for ages to see. Of late, the only horror we get to watch is horror comedies. Finally, a genuine horror flick hit the theaters, and it is Masooda. This Sai Kiran directorial generated positive buzz through its trailer and also turned out to be a successful film.

The film was released on 18 November, produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka and directed by Sai Kiran, a first-time director. People have already declared it as the best horror movie of the year.

Masooda received an excellent response from the audience right from the first show and the talk also reflected in the collections. The film became a Super hit at the box office.

Together, they get to know some shocking facts about the spirit that owned Nazia. How they solve the problem and how they’re able to free Nazia from the haunted ghost forms the rest of the movie.

The film further has Thiruveer, Kavya Kalyan Ram, and Subhalekha Sudhakar having essential roles. The trailer has too had numerous views on YouTube (around 2.7 million) and over 500 comments.

అలాగే తాజాగా పుష్ప నిర్మాతలు రష్యా విడుదల కోసం 3 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేశారు, కానీ దాని నుండి వారికి తిరిగి పెద్దగా తిరిగి వచ్చింది ఏమీ లేదు.

The craze for Ram Pothineni’s Hindi dubbing films is not new. The Warrior is not the only film which is dubbed and released in Hindi on YouTube and received one hundred million views.

Earlier also some pictures of Hero Ram have had 100 million views on YouTube. Ram has attracted the Hindi audiences at first with the movie Ganesh. Kajal acted as the heroine in the film, which too was an utter flop in Telugu, but a winner in Hindi dubbed YouTube version.

After that, Nenu Shailaja was a good hit at the box office. This movie was also dubbed in Hindi and received 100 million views on YouTube.

Hyper, Ismart Shankar, Unnadi Okate Zindagi and Hello Guru Prema Kosame too received an excellent response in the Hindi dubbing version. Those films took 100 million views on YouTube.

And now Ram Pothineni has created another record with ‘The Warrior’ film getting 100 million views in the same way.

He has created a record in the South industry as the hero who gained 100 million views on YouTube with seven consecutive Hindi dubbing films.

Next he’s acting under the direction of Mass Director Boyapati Sreenu and the film will be released as a pan India film, Let’s see what kind of response that movie gets from the Hindi audience.

Samantha is expected to start shooting after Sankranthi for this film, and she has also committed to a Bollywood film before. Now she is not signing any other films as first she wants to finish all her early commitments before accepting any fresh scripts.

A few months ago, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu was diagnosed with autoimmune disease myositis. And her way of life has never been the same since. The star revealed the shocking news of her health to her fans and everyone during the promotions of the film Yashoda.

Samantha opened up about her diagnosis and subsequent treatment, which she called a “dark time” in her life.

RRR and Pushpa, both the films, have no need introduction to the Telugu Film audience. for that matter, both the films are very well known to the entire Indian film crowd as they have become Pan Indian blockbusters.

However, despite RRR and Pushpa being big pan-Indian blockbusters, if you look from the producers side they did not make any money with these movies.

RRR was supposed to release on January 8th 2021, but because of the reasons known to everyone, it had pushed to October 2021 and then finally it got released on March 25th 2022.

So with the continuous delays in the release date, RRR film’s budgets have increased and it’s not given the theatrical profit returns to the producers in expected range.

While after, the producer further spent some money for international promotions after the theatrical run finished. The same goes with Pushpa too.

Pushpa was made with a massive budget and the producer could not make the profits in Telugu States except for nizam area. Due to ticket prices issues in AP, the distributors too lost money and the producers had to refund some amount from their side.

Latest the Pushpa producers have spent 3 Crores for Russia release, but they got nothing in return from it.

But Mythri movie makers have a big jackpot in their hands with Pushpa 2, but if you consider only Pushpa part 1, then it has not provided any profits to the producers.
