Actor Kamal Hassan admitted in hospital due to health issues
South Indian renowned actor Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Center (SRMC) on November 23. According to reports, he was hospitalized for a regular health check-up. Reportedly, he developed a fever and was given treatment for the same. It is said that the doctors advised him complete rest for the next couple of days. The actor is likely to be discharged later today.
Recently, he met his mentor and legendary director K Vishwanath in Hyderabad and photos of the two are going viral on social media.
On November 23, Kamal Haasan felt uneasy and developed a slight fever. After his return from Hyderabad, he was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for further treatment. The doctors treated him for the same and suggested he take rest for a couple of days to recuperate. The actor is likely to get discharged.
Earlier this year, Kamal Haasan went to Hyderabad due to work commitments. There he met his guru K Vishwanath and took part in a couple of events in the city.
Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for director Shankar’s Indian 2 and Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6. Once he finishes Indian 2, he will join hands with the legendary director Mani Ratnam for KH 234, which also marks the reunion of both the after 35 years of Nayakan.
Kamal Haasan also has a film with director Pa Ranjith. He has lined up some interesting combinations with young directors for his next movies.
SSMB28 second schedule becomes the first schedule for the movie
The second schedule of Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivirkam’s SSMB28 is all set to begin soon much to the relief of fans. The film has seen several roadblocks in its initial stages. The first schedule hiccups, script changes, Mahesh being unhappy with the way the movie is shaping up, and last-minute cast and crew changes were some of the problems that delayed the project’s shooting.
During the first schedule, an action sequence was planned and it was wrapped in just 4 days. Some of this footage is now scrapped as the film’s script has undergone several changes. Now the film should start from scratch and technically 1st schedule is yet to begin for the film and is expected to start from December 1st week.
The schedule will start next month with the other cast first and Mahesh will join after a few days. The film is expected to release on August 2023. Pooja Hegde will be paired with Mahesh Babu in SSMB28. This will be the second time the two will be sharing screen after Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi. SS Thaman will compose the music for this film while Naveen Nooli will handle the editing duties.
Pan India Blockbuster Kantara is streaming now on OTT
After creating a massive storm at the pan-India box office, the Kannada blockbuster Kantara is all set for its OTT release. The film will stream from 24th November on Amazon Prime in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The makers earlier requested Amazon Prime Video to postpone the OTT release which should have happened earlier. The resounding success at the box-office and excellent occupancies at theatres all over were the main reason for this request.
Kantara released on 30th September and its dubbed version in Telugu was released a couple of weeks later. After Karnataka, the highest collection for this action thriller came from Telugu states. The success of this movie has once again proved that content is the biggest factor behind any project’s success.
Directed by Rishab Shetty who acted in the lead role as well, this small film has done the unthinkable by getting extraordinary reviews and box-office records both at once. Very few films have achieved both.

“SSMB28”, the movie which brought the iconic collaboration of Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram for the third time, was recently launched. Thaman’s name was announced as the music director, and two songs were also said to be finalized.
