It is known that Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing his 108th film with Director Anil Ravipudi is announced long ago. Balakrishna is enjoying a quite good time in his career with interesting combos. Currently, he’s shooting his 107th film titled Veera Simha Reddy under the direction of Gopichand Malineni.

Meanwhile, Shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 108th movie will start from 8th December. Anil Ravipudi who has half a dozen blockbusters under his belt is going to direct this movie. This is a crazy project as Ravipudi has been trying to make a movie with Balayya and both are in form trying to continue their hit streak.

As we know, Ravipudi is known for hilarious entertainers with a lot of comedy and family content. Balayya has diverse set of movies in his career, but of late he is more into violent mass entertainers. Their combination is creating much interest for fans and movie lovers, as it seems to be a unique one.

According to the director, the movie is going to be more in the lines of emotions and action than comedy. The underlying comedy tinge would be subtler than loud as in F2 Or Raja The Great or even Sarileru Neekevvaru, he added.

Hence, we can expect an entertaining character with stylish heroism and mannerisms with comedy done by other actors than Balayya himself.

The movie will be fresh among his as well as Balayya’s latest movies. As most of the recent Balayya movies have dual role, heavy on violence, young actress as heroines. Such tropes might not be there in NBK108. Sri Leela is going to play the role of Balayya’s daughter.

Sources are claiming that the movie will be on the lines of Liam Neeson’s action classic ‘Taken’.

Balayya’s upcoming film Veera Simha Reddy will be released as a Sankranthi festival along with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu/Varasudu.

Samantha’s Yashoda theatrical run is almost ended and in planning to OTT release

Samantha’s Yashoda has been a decent earner at the box office. The movie scored well in its first two weekends but ran out of steam in weekdays. After the second weekend, its run has almost come to an end. By going the initial response, everyone felt that the movie will go on to become a huge blockbuster, but eventually the movie fell flat.

However the distributors who bought the movie are happy since the rates were reasonable and they could get back the investment with some profits. Currently the production house is planning for the OTT release.

The OTT rights for this thriller were bought by Amazon Prime and it is expected to stream in 2nd week of December. Though the Telugu Film Producers Council has made some regulations regarding the early OTT release, no one seems to be bothered about it.

Yashoda also appears to follow the early release rate and will be releasing within 4 weeks from its theatrical release.

Yashoda is a gritty action and psychological thriller that is shouldered by Samantha with her acting capabilities. The movie has other good actors like Varalakshmi Sharatkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma etc.

The movie has reiterated the stamina of Samantha at the box office. She has the capability of scoring solo hits and emerging as a role model in male dominated industry. New stories will come when stars like Samantha score good hits.

South Indian movies are increasingly getting more traction in the North, previously the biggest South Indian movies used to collect around 200-300 crores in gross income. However, the pan India phenomenon brought by Rajamouli with his magnificent Bahubali led to the market expansion and erasure of language borders.

Pan-Indian market has been established, and the path has been taken by many South Indian movies. As of now, there are 9 movies that have crossed 400 crores gross.

This year we have already seen 5 movies of South getting more than 400 crores gross. At the same time, the Bollywood movies are struggling to reach 200 crores mark.

Prabhas is leading in the list of these movies with 3 films already. All of his movies since Bahubali 1 except Radheshyaam have made into the list, which shows that he is a pan India superstar.

Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is an upcoming Telugu action thriller film written and directed by A.R. Mohan, who is known for working as an art director in movies like Sindhubaadh, Chandi Veeran, Kadamban etc.

The film’s theatrical rights are valued at 4.5 Crores approx, Non-theatrical rights are also said to be fetched at a good price. The Digital and Satellite rights have been bought by ZEE Telugu. టాలీవుడ్‌లో పెద్ద నిర్మాతలు, చిన్న నిర్మాతల మధ్య వివాదం నడుస్తోంది. వచ్చే సంక్రాంతికి విడుదల కానున్న తమిళ డబ్బింగ్ సినిమా వారిసుకు ఎక్కువ థియేటర్లు దక్కబోతున్నాయన్న వివాదం ఇప్పుడు చేతులెత్తేసింది. 2019 సంక్రాంతి సందర్భంగా దిల్ రాజు తాను అన్న మాటలకు కట్టుబడి ఉండాలని తెలుగు పరిశ్రమ నిర్మాతల మండలి సూచించింది.

పండుగ సీజన్లలో డబ్బింగ్ చిత్రాలకు బదులుగా తెలుగు చిత్రాలకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలని దిల్ రాజును మండలి కోరుతోంది. అయితే, దళపతి విజయ్ హీరోగా తెలుగులోకి డబ్ కానున్న తమిళ చిత్రానికి ఆయనే నిర్మాత కాబట్టి, ఈసారి స్ట్రెయిట్ సినిమాల వైపు మొగ్గు చూపడం లేదు.

దిల్ రాజు వంచన పై ఇప్పుడు టాలీవుడ్ చిన్న నిర్మాతలు గగ్గోలు పెడుతున్నారు. అయితే అల్లు అరవింద్, అశ్వినీదత్ వంటి సీనియర్ నిర్మాతలు మాత్రం దిల్ రాజు పక్షం వహిస్తున్నారు.

ఆ నేపథ్యంలో దిల్ రాజును రక్షించేందుకు అల్లు అరవింద్ వచ్చారు. బాహుబలి తర్వాత పాన్ ఇండియా మార్కెట్‌లో డబ్బింగ్ చిత్రాలను కొన్ని థియేటర్లకు పరిమితం చేయలేమని అల్లు అరవింద్ పునరుద్ఘాటించారు. పెద్ద నిర్మాతలు ప్యాన్ ఇండియా మార్కెట్‌ల వైపు మొగ్గుచూపుతున్నారు, వారి ప్రయోజనం కోసం డబ్బింగ్ సినిమాలను ఇష్టపడుతున్నారు, ఎందుకంటే వారి సినిమాలు ఎక్కువ మంది ప్రేక్షకులకు చేరువయ్యే సామర్థ్యాన్ని కలిగి ఉంటాయి.

దీని పై చిన్న నిర్మాతలు మండిపడుతున్నారు. అయితే లింగుస్వామి లాంటి తమిళ నిర్మాతల బెదిరింపులు కూడా అలజడి సృష్టిస్తున్నాయి. వారిసుకు మంచి థియేటర్లు రాకపోతే తెలుగు సినిమాలపై ప్రభావం పడుతుందని హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేస్తున్నారు.

సమస్య ఎప్పుడూ భాషలకు సంబంధించినది కాదు, కానీ ఎల్లప్పుడూ చిన్న మరియు పెద్ద నిర్మాతల మధ్యనే ఉంటూ వచ్చింది. పెద్ద నిర్మాతలు తమ లాభం కోసం అవసరమైనప్పుడు నిబంధనలను మార్చుకుంటారు. కానీ చిన్న నిర్మాతలు మాత్రం వాటికి కట్టుబడి ఉండాలి.

దిల్ రాజు ద్వంద్వ ప్రమాణాలను బట్టబయలు చేసేందుకు చిన్న నిర్మాతలు వారిసు థియేటర్ల కేటాయింపు విషయాన్ని అవకాశంగా ఉపయోగించుకుంటున్నారు.

అయితే ఇండస్ట్రీలో పవర్ ఫుల్ వ్యక్తులదే తుది నిర్ణయం. నిజానికి తమిళ నిర్మాతల అతిశయోక్తి, బెదిరింపు మాటలకి సరైన లాజిక్, ఆధారాలతో నిర్మాతల తరపున లేదా పరిశ్రమ తరపున అయినా ఎవరూ సమాధానం ఇవ్వకపోవడం తెలుగు ఇండస్ట్రీకి సిగ్గుచేటు అనే చెప్పాలి.

వారు అనుకుంటే ఇతర భాషా చిత్రాల పట్ల తెలుగు పరిశ్రమ యొక్క ఆదరణ గురించి సరైన వాస్తవాలు మరియు గణాంకాలను సులభంగా చూపించగలరు. కానీ మన సీనియర్ నిర్మాతలు స్థానిక చిన్న నిర్మాతలతో పోట్లాడుతారు కానీ.. అనవసరమైన హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసిన పరభాషా వర్గాల పై ఒక్క మాట కూడా మాట్లాడలేకపోయారు.

There is a simmering conflict between big producers and small producers in tollywood. The controversy surrounding Varisu getting more theaters is getting out of hands now. Producers council of Telugu industry has advised Dil Raju to stick to his words during 2019 Sankranthi.

The council wants Dil Raju to prioritize Telugu films instead of dubbed ones during festival seasons. However, since he is the producer for a Tamil movie to be dubbed in Telugu with Thalapathy Vijay as hero, he is obviously not favoring straight movies this time.

Small producers of tollywood are now pointing fingers at Dil Raju’s hypocrisy. However, senior producers like Allu Aravind and Aswini Dutt are taking the side of Dil Raju.

In that context, Allu Aravind has come to rescue Dil Raju. Allu Aravind reaffirmed that in Pan India market after Bahubali we cannot restrict dubbed films to few theaters. Big producers are favoring larger markets, dubbing movies for their benefit, as their movies have that capacity to reach out to larger audiences.

Small producers are complaining of this. However, threats from Tamil producers like Linguswamy also creating ripples, they are issuing warnings that Telugu movies will get affected if Varisu doesn’t get good theaters.

The issue has never been about languages, but always been between small vs. big producers. Big producers change rules whenever necessary for their interest, but the small producers have to comply. Small producers are using Varisu as an opportunity to expose Dil Raju’s double standards.

However, the powerful people will have the final say in the industry. In fact, it is a bit shameful for Telugu industry to not counter Tamil producers’ exaggerated and threatening calls with logic and evidence.

They could’ve easily shown the facts and figures about Telugu industry’s openness towards other language films. But our senior most producers have been fighting the local small players, but couldn’t speak a word against those who issued warnings.
