The teaser of the song was released recently, and it has music director Devi Sri Prasad singing few lines about Boss (chiru).The teaser of the song took internet by storm.
There were several troll videos which are very funny. Some were criticizing the ridiculous lyrics and Devi for such silly lines as he is the lyricist too.
However, fans are getting excited to watch Megastar in a peppy dance number. They kind of liked the song for its beats and defending that mass songs are supposed to be silly for better reach.
Songs in mass movies are increasingly becoming senseless and their only purpose is to woo the listeners. DSP is getting backlash for this trend, but many are becoming chart busters. Probably that’s the reason he is continuing this trend. Back in those days, movies like Indra had great mass numbers with meaningful lyrics with longer shelf life, times have changed considerably.
Directed by Bobby, Waltair Veerayya is slated for Sankranti 2023 release. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa and Ravi Teja in a cameo.
Earlier this year, Chiranjeevi was seen in Telugu action-thriller Acharya, which also featured Ram Charan in a key role. The film turned out to be a massive box-office disaster.
Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, was about a middle-aged Naxalite who turned social reformer and launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.
