Masooda 1st week Box office collections- Blockbuster

Masooda, the film which was released without many expectations as a small movie, has received good response from the critics, audience and at the box office as well.

The film has collected close to 5 Crores of gross and 2.75 Crores of share in its first week in the Telugu states. Masooda’s Theatrical rights were sold at 2 Crores, which means it became a Blockbuster in the 1st week itself.

By looking at the current trend, trade circles are expecting that the 2nd weekend will be much bigger than the 1st weekend. 50% of the revenue for Masooda has come from Nizam, especially the Hyderabad city is the best performing territory for this movie.

Horror thriller movies are more popular than all other genres. That’s why those kind of films keep getting good success. However, in recent times, such films have been made with putting comedy in it.

In such situations, ‘Masooda’ arrived as a genuine horror movie which is made with the concept of pure thrill. This movie, made with an innovative subject, was released last week, and It became a surprise hit as said above with audience pouring their love and appreciation on it.

Talented yesteryear heroine Sangeetha acted in the lead role in this movie. Thiruveer and Kavya Kalyanram played key roles, it is directed by Sai Kiran.

Masooda is produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka. Prashant R V composed music for this film. Subhalekha Sudhakar, Akhila Ram, Sridhar, and Satyam Rajesh played the other key roles.

Sudigali Sudheer as the name suggests is creating box office storm among low budget movies. His movie has stunned trade pundits with fantastic collections. The movie has so far collected 7.5 crores net and is still running well.

The distributor share value of the film is around 3.5 crores, meaning the film made profits more than a crore. Without any major promotional event or campaign, an underdog movie coming and collecting so much is a rare feat.

This shows that Sudheer is being accepted as a star and his strong fan base is latently running. There was severe underestimation of his box office pull, but he cleared all doubts with Gaalodu.

Though this is the lean phase for movies in Telugu Film Industry, this movie has done good. In fact, it has challenged its competitors like Yashoda and emerged as clean hit.

Gaalodu is a story about a happy-go-lucky guy who is unassuming in life. Accidentally, the hero kills a powerful person and had to escape his village, and he finds a girl of her liking. What happens when he is in hideout and how he resolves the issue is the story.

It has all mass elements that woo audiences. Sudheer’s comedy timing and punch dialogues along with massy numbers helped the movie to get profits for all the stakeholders involved. The movie will be a major boost in his career.

ఇప్పటికే ‘వీరసింహారెడ్డి’ ఫస్ట్ లుక్, టైటిల్ టీజర్, ఇతర స్పెషల్ పోస్టర్లకు నందమూరి అభిమానుల నుంచి మంచి స్పందన వచ్చింది. ఇక విడుదల తేదీ దగ్గర పడుతుండగా, ఈ సినిమా నుండి మొదటి సింగిల్ ‘జై బాలయ్య’ని విడుదల చేయడం ద్వారా నిర్మాతలు మ్యూజికల్ ప్రమోషన్స్ ప్రారంభించారు.

After receiving critical acclaim for his performance in Naandhi, Allari Naresh is back with Itlu Maredumilli Prajanikam- another engaging drama that is different from his usual comedy entertainers. Let’s find out if the ‘actor’ Allari Naresh shines or not

Story: Srinivas (Allari Naresh) is a teacher on election duty and lands in a remote village in the Maredumilli forest area. After arriving in the region, he notices the challenges faced by the villagers and their lack of basic amenities along with poor living conditions. How it impacts him and changes his perception of life and what he does to join villagers in their fight for rights is what the movie follows.

Performances: The movie belongs to Allari Naresh who channels his inner actor quite well. He has once again given a thought-provoking performance after Naandhi and fits the role perfectly. Anandhi looks good on screen but her character could have been written better. Vennela Kishore and Sampath are others who shine in this film and they keep the proceedings smoot

Analysis: The movie showcases the journey of Allari Naresh and his transformation. He does a great job of showcasing a wide array of emotions throughout the film. While there is comedy in parts and Itlu Maredumilli Prajanikam is not an out-and-out serious film, it certainly is more thought-provoking and questions our privileges along with authority’s apathy.

The film received widespread acclaim for its unique take on modern relationships and received great box office returns. Seeing the unanimously positive response in Kollywood, Dil Raju decided to release the movie in Telugu states. Let’s see if it has enough to entertain the Telugu audience as well

Story: Pradeep and Nikita (Pradeep and Ivana) are in love with each other and want to take their relationship to the next level. The couple is a typical modern couple with their own virtual lives and social media personas. Nikita’s father (Sathyaraj) agrees to their marriage on one condition- they have to exchange their mobile phones for a day. How this condition changes the couple’s lives and their impression of each other. What’s it impact on their relationship is what the movie is about.

Performances: Pradeep has done a great job as a modern-day youngster with his own insecurities, mannerisms, and life. He fits the role requirements perfectly and is particularly good in comic scenes. Ivana looks great on the screen and has done a good job overall. Sathyaraj, as always is dependable and provides great maturity to the proceedings. His role in this rom-com is one of its highlights and kudos to the casting director for choosing Sathyaraj. Other characters like Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu provide the perfect fodder for the proceedings

Analysis: Love Today is a good take on modern relationships and their intricacies. The dynamics of social media and its impact on our lives have been well explored and the best part about the film is that it doesn’t get too preachy. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music adds good value to the proceedings. Slow narration in the initial parts aside, the film engages and entertains you will.

A hospital files a civil case on Samantha’s Yashoda, The film’s OTT release postponed

Yashoda movie is in a bit of a tussle with Eva IVF hospital. The hospital has filed a suit against the movie and issued notices to the production house to postpone the OTT release. The notice demanded the OTT release should be stopped until 19th December.

Dr. Mohan Kumar, owner of Eva IVF Hospital, has named the directors and producers of the film, too, for allegedly “misusing the name and damaging the reputation of the hospital”. The court has issued notices seeking their replies, according to reports.In the film, the central character Yashoda, played by Samantha Prabhu, becomes a surrogate mother for money to fund her sister’s surgery.

She is taken to a hospital that happens to be named ‘Eva’, where she discovers that several other women there are becoming surrogates as they are poor and need money like she does, as per the film’s plot. Commercial surrogacy is banned in India, and the film revolves around a racket that illegally “rents out wombs”.

The hearing of this case is due on 19th December 2022 hence there won’t be any OTT release until then. Yashoda digital streaming rights were bagged by Amazon Prime.

“Yashoda” was released in theaters on November 11 in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Samantha played as the lead in this thriller and the movie received good collections at the box office and has good potential to do well in OTT too.

Yashoda is directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan (credited as Hari-Harish), and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. It includes good actors like Varalaxmi SarathKumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma etc. Music is composed by Mani Sharma.

సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు, త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ కాంబినేషన్‌లో 12 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత SSMB28 సినిమా రాబోతోంది అన్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. తమ ఫేవరెట్ హీరో దర్శక ద్వయం యొక్క కలయిక మూడోసారి రిపీట్ కావడం పై మహేష్ ఫ్యాన్స్ చాలా సంతోషంగా ఫీల్ అయ్యారు.

కానీ దురదృష్టవశాత్తు, ఈ చిత్రం ప్రారంభ దశలో అనేక అడ్డంకులను ఎదురు చూసింది. మొదటి షెడ్యూల్‌లో అవాంతరాలు, స్క్రిప్ట్ మార్పులు, సినిమా రూపుదిద్దుకుంటున్న తీరు పై మహేష్ అసంతృప్తిగా ఉండటం వంటి పుకార్లు, చివరి నిమిషంలో నటీనటులు మరియు సిబ్బంది మార్పు వంటి కొన్ని సమస్యలు ప్రాజెక్ట్ షూటింగ్‌ని ఆలస్యం చేశాయి.

మహేష్ బాబు సినిమా మొత్తం కథలో మార్పులు చేయడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి కాదు. నిజానికి, మహేష్ కెరీర్‌లో బిగ్గెస్ట్ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్స్‌లో ఒకటైన శ్రీను వైట్ల దర్శకత్వం వహించి, రచనా భాధ్యత కూడా వహించిన దూకుడు సినిమా కూడా ఇలాంటి సమస్యను ఎదుర్కొంది. ఆ చిత్రంలో కూడా దర్శకుడు మొదట 80% ఫైనల్ చేసి ఒక స్క్రిప్ట్‌ను సిద్ధం చేసారు, కానీ చిత్ర బృందం షూటింగ్‌కి వెళ్లేలోపు ఆ కథను మార్చారు.

After Dookudu now it’s SSMB28.. The entire script has changed by the directors

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas combination is coming after 12 years with SSMB28. Mahesh fans were delighted that their favorite hero director duo was repeating for the third time.

But unfortunately, the film has seen several roadblocks in its initial stages. The first schedule hiccups, script changes, Mahesh being unhappy with the way the movie is shaping up, and last-minute cast and crew changes were some of the problems that delayed the project’s shooting.

This was not the first time Mahesh Babu film has undergone changes in the entire story. In fact, one of the biggest blockbusters in Mahesh career, Dookudu which was directed and written by Srinu Vaitla also faced similar issue. Even in that film the director initially locked a script which was 80% finalized, but the story was replaced before the team went to the shooting.

Vaitla had come up with an entirely new script within months and as we know the movie went on to become a major blockbuster in both of their careers, hence any change in the script is better to be done beforehand instead of regretting later.

Hence, the decision made by SSMB28 team can be said better and there is still sometime left to go to the sets which will help the writer and director Trivikram to make necessary changes and bring out the most effective script for their much awaited combination.

Pooja Hegde will be paired with Mahesh Babu in SSMB28. This will be the second time the two will be sharing the screen after Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi. SS Thaman will compose the music for this film, while Naveen Nooli will handle the editing duties.
