Kalyan Ram’s Amigos is arriving in theaters tomorrow, and the advance bookings of the film are disastrous to say. This is not the situation which everyone expected from fans and indeed the normal audience.
It is surprising thing that after a blockbuster film like Bimbisara, Amigos film has failed to create the required buzz in the audience. The film’s trailer and Kalyan Ram’s look were perfect, but we can say the title as the major drawback for the film.
Indeed the audio also didn’t click well. The film now needs a super strong word of mouth to bring the audience to the theaters and become a successful film. Nowadays, small or different films will not sustain at the box office if they don’t get good talk from the morning shows on first day.
The film has an interesting concept of doppelgängers and is directed by the debutant Rajendra Reddy. Amigos is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Sandalwood beauty Ashika Ranganath is making her debut in Telugu, and we will see her as the love interest of Kalyan Ram. Kollywood music director Ghibran has scored the tunes for this film.
