Kalyan Ram’s Amigos is all set to release tomorrow (February 10th). And ahead of the release, the unit held a special screening of the film for Jr NTR. Tarak apparently loved the film and termed it extraordinary, informed the producer Ravi Shankar. The producer further added that NTR had given similar feedback on Kalyan Ram’s last film Bimbisara which ended up as a blockbuster.
Because of this feedback from Jr NTR, the entire unit of Amigos is now filled with great energy. While the inside talk of the movie is great, the same is not getting translated into good bookings. The advance bookings for Amigos opened a few days ago and they have been disastrous hence the team is now backing on great reviews and solid word of mouth from the morning show tomorrow.
While the film has not managed to create any solid buzz with its music and trailers so far, they hoped NTR’s presence at the pre-release event would boost up the craze for the film. While NTR stole the show at the pre-release event, the same cant be said about the movie.
Debutant director Rajendra Reddy is helming the project while the film stars Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath alongside Kalyan Ram. Mythri Movie Makers are backing this project while Ghibran has composed tunes for Amigos.
