Director Rajamouli actively participated in the meetings with the Government authorities and tried hard to get permission to resume the shootings but recent conference by the producers guild says no to shooting at least till the end of August.
Rajamouli is making a crazy multi strrer RRR with Ram Charan and NTR after India’s biggest Blockbuster Bahubali series. During this film shoot itself, this film has done a whopping pre-release business globally. But due to the lockdown, the shooting could not be continued and this created a panic situation among the distributors who already paid their advances. Though this film will be released after the pandemic situation. The big question is will the audience come back to theaters or not, as the audience are habituated for OTT viewing. Now, the distributor who has made the deal are demanding to return their advances, especially from the USA distributor who made a whopping deal with Overseas distributor who paid 10% of the advance. This puts the producer Danayya under pressure and let’s see how he is going to deal with this situation and convince the distributors.
