Meter Movie buyers suffer 100 Percent losses

Kiran Abbavaram’s new film Meter, which was touted to be a wholesome commercial entertainer, had released right after his earlier hit Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha which received good applause from the audience. This is why the audience had set expectations on this project, but sadly the film could not meet the expectations.

The film opened with disastrous numbers at the box office and the talk from the audience was also terrible and there was no chance for a jump in collections going afterward, and the trade circles stated the film was on the way to become an outright disaster, with many stations reporting deficits on the opening day itself.

After a disastrous opening day, the film saw even a big drop on the weekend as the theater owners did not even recover the rentals. The closing share of the film is zero, which means it has given a 100% loss to the buyers.

This film is written and directed by Ramesh Kaduri. Meter is an action entertainer in which the male lead plays a cop. Athulyaa Ravi played the female lead role opposite Kiran Abbavaram.

Meter brought bad name to its hero Kiran Abbavaram regarding his choice of scripts. Especially the netizens felt that it would be better he chooses his next projects carefully, otherwise his career will take a setback.

The audience was also surprised that a reputed banner like Mythri had produced a pointless crap kind of movie with Meter. The reasons or terms them doing the movie in their banner is not known, but the audience never expected that Mythri movies will come up with this type of content, and they felt this kind of mistakes will affect the image of their banner.

AR Rahman for Buchi Babu- Charan movie surprises many

Music director choices have always been the most critical ones for directors. It is the music director who has the capacity to add great buzz to a movie and even a few crores of collections through their foot-tapping music. Several famous director- music director combos in Tollywood like Rajamouli- Keeravani, Sukumar- DSP, etc. have given several blockbusters over the years and their combo holds a special place in fans’ hearts.

This is why fans are first interested in the music director’s choice for their favourite hero’s movie. For the upcoming Buchi Babu and Ram Charan project, this choice has emerged as a confusing one. AR Rahman has been brought on to compose the tunes here. No doubt Rahman is a musical genius and one the finest composers in the world and his track record is there to prove so. But, he has been off the path in recent times. AR Rehman is not that peak form and even in the Tamil industry, Anirudh is ruling now.

For Uppena, DSP gave extraordinary music and he was the main reason for the film’s blockbuster success. Each and every song in the film was a huge hit and put Buchi Babu into the big league.

Normally, the directors do not change music directors if the combination is working. In fact, Buchi Babu’s mentor- Sukumar has never changed his winning combo with DSP and worked with him in all his movies. In fact, after Allu Arjun and Sukumar, it was DSP who played a pivotal role in Pushpa’s pan- India popularity. Hence, bringing AR Rahman into fold has surprised many.
