It is very well known to everyone that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is working with young director Sujeeth for one of his upcoming films. The makers had fixed the title as OG (Original Gangster). Now, according to the reports from the inside circles, the makers of OG are in plans to release in this year only.
The film will be released as a pan-Indian film in 5 major Indian languages such as release such as Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada languages. Pawan Kalyan has another two films in his hand, Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Krish’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Pawan has started to shoot for UBS and at present there is no information about HHVM.
Meanwhile, no one expected OG, the film to be released in this year, but it appears that the makers have a good plan to make it happen. The film is a gangster drama, and it does not need a huge number of call sheets of Pawan Kalyan, and it is being said that the team needs only 30–35 days of call sheets of Pawan Kalyan, and he is expected to join the movie sets in a few days and the unit is in plans to have continuous schedules and complete the movie in 6 months including the post-production works and then release the film at this year-end.
The legendary production house DVV Entertainments is producing the film. Pawan Kalyan and budding director Sujeeth are collaborating for the first time with this film. The film was announced with an interesting poster, and the producers had affirmed that Sujeeth will write and direct the film.
It is being said that Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a mafia don/gangster in the film, as the title suggests. The narration style of the film would be in the lines of Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, where the hero will have less screen time but all the happenings on screen will be around him. Now, let’s hope that the film goes as per the plan of the producers and will be released in this year.
