Naga Chaitanya’s latest film Custody is prepared for a big release at the theaters on this Friday. Expectations are quite high for this film, as the movie’s team was able to generate the buzz around the movie thanks to an excellent trailer and aggressive promotions. Meanwhile, the film’s advance bookings have opened in all territories and the bookings are weak in all territories. The audio did not click and the film being not a regular commercial film is the reason for these low bookings but as said above, because of the trailer, the film has created good buzz and now the movie just needs a positive word of mouth which can help the film get success at the box office.

Directed by Mani Ratnam ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ was released in multiple languages on April 28yh, and the film received an excellent response from the critics and audience as well. After taking off to a tremendous at the box office, ‘PS 2’ saw a considerable drop in the collections on the weekdays. Thereafter, the film witnessed a massive jump in the second weekend in all territories and showed some consistency on the weekend at the box office.

The story of Ponniyin Selvan 2 explores the past love story between Aditha Karikalan and Nandini, how they were separated and what made Nandini to seek vengeance on Chola Kingdom. The narrative also follows Arunmozhi Varman’s rise as the renowned emperor Rajaraja Chola and what incidents follow up until his rise.

The film comprises a huge star cast that includes Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi. Director SS Rajamouli has been giving reference of his dream project “Mahabharat” for many days. In tune with the theme of the title, the song is also a depiction of the love track between the lead pair, played by Vijay and Samantha. Vijay describes the love he has towards his love interest through the novel lyrics that are penned by Siva Nirvana. The lyrical video opens with the plush green locales of Kashmir and we see Vijay in a proper lover boy look. He is paired with Samantha who looks gorgeous as well.

Hesham’s composition and his own vocals are in sync with the song. He has composed a soothing and fresh song. It will take time to grow on the listeners but will certainly strike a chord with those who love quality music.
