It is widely known that Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati were seen together in a Web Series called Rana Naidu. He added that the bold content in Rana Naidu was not suitable for the Telugu audience, so they have removed a lot of bold content in the Telugu version and as per the season 2 they will be more careful about the Telugu version.

Netflix produced Rana Naidu, a web series that features Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in the main roles. The North audience was blown away by the content, and the web series stayed on Netflix’s trending list for weeks after it was released. The second season has been announced by Netflix and the shoot will begin soon. Venky spoke about the second season of Rana Naidu during the trailer launch event of Saindhav.

“Considering the Telugu and South audience, the vulgarity and abuses are toned down for the second season. The script is being made accordingly. When I was in Ahmedabad for the cricket match between India and Pakistan, the audience kept referring to me as Naga. The second season of Rana Naidu will impress the audience” told Venkatesh.

The criticism he received from the family crowds for Rana Naidu is something Venkatesh is well aware of. He will ensure that the second one satisfies all kinds of audience.

In the Telugu states, the rights of the film Leo were acquired by Naga Vamsi, the owner of Sithara Entertainments, and Haarika Hassine. He is currently one of the leading producers in Tollywood. The movie has generated immense excitement, thanks to the popularity of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay in the Telugu market.

Despite competition from other big releases like Bhagavanth Kesari and Tiger Nageswara Rao, also hitting the theaters, Nagavamsi is taking an unconventional approach. Unlike most producers who secure as many screens as possible for their films in such situations, Naga Vamsi is refraining from doing so.

Nagavamsi chose not to secure more screens for Leo because he didn’t want to strain relationships with competitors. He’s producing Balakrishna’s next film, directed by Bobby. he also supported Tiger Nageswara Rao’s movie by attending its pre-release event and wishing it a success.

There have been no promotional events or aggressive marketing in the Telugu states for Leo. The producer understands that, given the movie’s substantial audience buzz and excellent advance bookings, it will easily reach the break-even point. As a result, he’s not rushing into aggressive promotions or locking down most theaters, as he doesn’t want to create difficulties for other releases

Chinna’s (Chithha) blockbuster success led to massive OTT and satellite deals. It is widely known that Siddharth’s latest blockbuster Chithha released as a small film and performed good at Tamil theaters and in Telugu, it received good word of mouth but did not work as in Tamil. The movie now hit a jackpot with non-theatrical, satellite, and OTT rights. If all the rights put together of the film, the film is said to be sold for 15Crs, which recovers the total budget of the film. The OTT streaming partner of Chinna is Disney Hot Star.

The film, made with a sensitive backdrop, features Siddharth in an intense role, with Nimisha Sajayan as his love interest and Sahasra Shree playing his niece. Chittha was released on September 28th in Tamil, and it was released on October 6th in Telugu. Though it did not fare well in Telugu, it was able to get massive OTT and satellite deals.

Chithha features a talented crew, including Balaji Subramanyam (cinematography), Suresh A Prasad (editing), CS Balachandar (art direction), and Vinoth Thanigasalam (sound design), with music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and background music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.

The film tells us the story of Eeshwar alias Chinna (Siddharth) works in a municipal office in Yadadri town of Telangana. He is deeply connected to his elder brother’s daughter Chitti/Sundari and daily drops and brings her back from the school. Occasionally, he passes time with his friend, who is an SI. Shakti (Nimisha Sajayan), the girl he fell in love with while in college, joins as a sanitation worker in his office. 

Eeshwar’s love life gets better as Shakti starts loving him again. In a shocking turn of events, Chinna gets accused of abusing Munni, his friend’s niece. His friend and family believe that it was Chinna who committed the rape. At the same time, Chitti goes missing. Was it really Chinna who raped Munni? Who did kidnap Chinni ? Did the truth in the rape allegations against Chinna came out? Was he able to find Chinna? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Directed by stylist Neeraja Kona who will be making her debut behind megaphone and produced by People Media Group, this project has now got two exciting additions in the form of Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty.

The two pretty ladies will be paired opposite Siddhu in this landmark film which happens to be People Media Factory’s 30th Film. A video announcement was made earlier today featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda in a classy set up with SS Thaman’s soothing music being played in the background.

Leo Producers went to court for special shows after the TN government refused permission for the same. The makers of Leo had appealed to the Tamil Nadu Government to approve the permissions for 4 AM and 7 AM shows for the opening day of Leo, and they asked to allow 7 AM shows until 24th October.

However, the government denied this request and provided a special show, but they put a. condition that the shows can be screened from 9 AM only. With this, the producers approached the court and requested to grant permission for 4 AM and 7 AM shows.

On October 19, the highly anticipated movie ‘Leo,’ featuring Vijay in the lead role, is set to be released. Recent reports suggest that the makers of ‘Leo’ have filled a court petition. Despite the film’s ticket sales being started in different locations, the lack of special morning shows in Tamil Nadu, the movie’s home state, has left fans disappointed. 

Even though the Tamil Nadu government has allowed up to five shows per day for the first six days of ‘Leo,’ special morning shows and the First Day First Show (FDFS) were restricted to start at 9 a.m. on October 19.

Tamil Nadu fans expressed their disappointment with the delayed release of ‘Leo’ in comparison to other locations. The makers of ‘Leo’ have reportedly taken legal action by filing a petition to request permission for special morning shows in Tamil Nadu supporting the fans. The court has scheduled tomorrow morning (October 17th) for the hearing of the special case filed by the ‘Leo’ makers in response. The outcome is contingent on whether the court grants the request of Leo Producers or upholds the TN government’s directive.

On its opening day, Leo is expected to smash box office records, and projections suggest it could achieve the highest numbers for a Tamil film. A few months ago, a multistarrer project between Dhanush-Nagarjuna was announced much to the joy of Tollywood and Kollywood fans. Shekhar Kammula will direct the film and this project will mark second film for the Kollywood star with a Telugu director after “Vaathi/Sir” directed by Venky Atluri.

The film was first announced with Dhanush and later makers felt the project needed another star to play a crucial role. “Who better than our very own ‘King’ to light up the screen with his charisma”. They made the announcement today on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday.

Rashmika is playing the lead role in this project, billed to be a political entertainer. At the moment, the team is busy with pre-production works and a special set is being constructed for the film in Hyderabad. Later, the team will move to other South Indian cities for the next schedule. The film’s shoot will start in February 2024 and the movie will be released in theatres in 2025

It is undisputed that South Indian audiences are fond of cinema. This is the reason why PVR Inox has been quickly expanding their operations by setting up new theaters in the South Indian states. However, the latest move PVR Inox has prompted a comment that this leading multiplex chain, which combines PVR and Inox, is discriminating against the South Indian audience and theaters.

A movie pass has been announced by PVR Inox that costs Rs 699 and allows the buyer to watch 10 films per month at PVR Inox facilities on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). Watching 1 film per day and up to 10 films per month is possible for a person if he buys this pass.

It’s important to note that this pass is not applicable to South Indian states. It is only for North Indian cinema audiences.

PVR Inox’s decision to discriminate between North and South in a program that could be of great help to true cinema lovers has provoked the South people.

“If you want to favor only North audience, then leave the South space. Remove all your theaters here. We will watch our films in single screens. If you don’t need us, we don’t need you either” an anguished South Indian Twitter user commented.
