Akkineni Nagarjuna did not have any film released after his last theatrical release, The Ghost. Although some rumors regarding his next film did emerge in between, but nothing was confirmed. Now it is said that he is finally ready to enter into the cinema field, but not a solo hero. Reportedly, he will work in Ia multi-starrer. Now the fans do not have to waste time by wondering if it is with Akhil or Chaitanya.
According to the reports, Nag will join hands with Kollywood star hero Dhanush for a multi-starrer under Sekhar Kammula’s direction. Sekhar Kammula and Dhanush had announced a film a few years ago. The film will be produced by Asian Cinemas banner. As said above, the project was already been announced a long time, but it has been said that the unavailability of Dhanush’s dates is the cause of the delay.
The film, which was supposed to be made as an action thriller, had only one hero. However, by the time the story got complete, it had developed another important role. The inside reports strongly suggest that another character in the story is very crucial and that is why another the makers have said to be roped in Nagarjuna for the role and the film will be made a multi-starrer.
According to the reports, Nagarjuna also liked the story, and he seems to have said yes reportedly. It is not a new thing, for Nag to share the screen space with other heroes. He shared the screen space with Kollywood star hero Karthi in the film Oopiri. Now he is sharing the screen space with Dhanush. The makers are expected to make an official announcement in this regard soon.
The makers are trying to rope in Rashmika Mandanna, the national crush, for the female lead opposite Dhanush in the film. AR Rahman will be composing the music. Now let’s wish that the interesting combination of Nagarjuna, Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula produces a memorable film.
