Leo makers are needlessly causing conflicts between the government and Cinema. It is widely known that Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming action thriller Leo is all set to be released in theaters on October 19th worldwide. For a few days, there have been a few issues going on between the TN Government and the makers of Leo. Looking at the proceedings, it can be said that the Leo makers needlessly caused conflicts between the government and Cinema.

The TN Government had passed a GO a long back which stated that the movie FDFS shows in the state should start from 9 AM only for all the movies on non holidays. So now all the movies are screening at 9 AM only and even the big recent film, Jailer also started at 9 AM only.

The team of Leo requested the government to grant early morning shows for 4 e and 7 AM, but the government denied that but granted an extra show so that the film can be screened 5 shows.

The Leo team now went to court against the government, which is creating rifts between the government and Cinema. If the government is reducing the ticket prices or reducing the shows or targeting only one particular film or hero, then you can fight against them, but if they are not doing anything of such kind and treating every one as the same, then fighting against them is unnecessary.

Yes, the government had made a mistake by putting the timings for 5 shows between 9 AM to 1:30 AM, so the time gap between these is 16 hours 30 minutes, which means practically not possible to screen 5 shows, so they can request the government to allow one more extra hour which allows them to screen 5 shows then may be the government consider that but going directly to the court was a wrong decision by the Leo makers.

On social media, a few netizens are comparing this situation with the AP Government’s involvement in Telugu cinema, but that was thoroughly different as they targeted one particular hero and here in the TN Government is treating everyone as the same. So the Leo makers should stop needlessly causing conflicts between the government and Cinema and should solve the problem amicably.

This is the buzz in the industry and the film is carrying very good reports. Balakrishna’s characterization is said to be powerful and will have emotional shades as well. Balayya has played the role of a ruthless cop several times in his career and it needs to be seen what new Anil Ravipudi has packed this time around.

Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are producing the movie that stars Kajal Aggarwal playing the leading role opposite Balakrishna. Bhagavanth Kesari will arrive in theatres on October 19th.

The combination of actor Sivakarthikeyan and composer D Imman has given several chartbusters. Imman has composed for several of Sivakarthikeyan’s movies such as Seema Raaja , Rajini Murugan, Namma Vettu Pillali. But, there seems to be a problem between the two and the composer has made serious allegations against the actor. 

Imman addressed this issue in a recent interview with a YouTube channel and declared that he would never again collaborate with Sivakarthikeyan. He disclosed that Sivakarthikeyan deceived him in a way that completely changed his life without elaborating on the specifics of the problem.

“It’s tough to collaborate with him in this lifetime. It’s for personal reasons. It was a huge betrayal of trust from his side. Maybe, if he was an actor and I was a music director in the next lifetime, we could work together,” said Imman.

Imman further revealed that he was constantly asked about when he would join hands with Sivakarthikeyan. He said, “I need to take a stand. That’s not possible hereafter. There’s something called forgiveness and human beings are flawed. We can forgive, but we cannot forget certain things. This is a creative space and it’d be difficult for me to forget everything and work with him. If I do that, I don’t think I could be true to my art.”

Rajinikanth’s Baasha remains to be one of the biggest favourite commercial films for movie lovers to date. Speaking to the media about the film’s impact, Baasha’s director Suresh Krissna revealed an interesting detail. When quizzed about who would suit the film’s remake, The director said that the film’s remake and the subject needed superstardom to carry out the film.

Interestingly, back in the 90s after Baasha’s monstrous success, Suresh Krissna planned the Telugu remake with Chiranjeevi but he was busy with some commitments and it did not materialise.

Rajnikanth asked the director if Mohan Babu could do it instead. The director straightaway rejected this idea as it needed a star of bigger stature, someone like Chiranjeevi. With plans for the Megastar failing, the makers of Baasha released a direct dubbed version of Baasha which ended up being a massive success in Telugu as well.

Speaking about which Tamil actor could essay Baasha role today, the director replied that out of the current stars, Ajith Kumar would suit the role pretty well.
