Ram Charan should change the plans. It is widely known that the Mega Power Star, Ram Charan got stuck with Game Changer for two years. When the film was announced, the fans and audiences thought it was a superb choice as the combination with Shankar is massive. However, the film has gone through unexpected and multiple delays in the 

The movie started before the RRR release, and it has been one and half years since the global blockbuster’s release, but Game Changer still needs to complete its filming. RRR had another star, NTR who started his next film, Devara, this year and the movie is scheduled to be released in April 2024.

NTR also has another mammoth project, WAR 2, with Hrithik and YRF, which is planned for the 2025 Republic weekend release. As per the current scenario, Game Changer will likely be released in 2025. Even though NTR started the film very late after RRR, he has more releases than Ram Charan’s.

Ram Charan should change the plans and immediately start Buchi Nabu’s film to fill this vacuum. He got stuck with Game Changer and continually postponed the movie with the Uppena director. The shooting of Shankar’s film is not happening continuously, and the film’s producer, Dil Raju, is under immense pressure because of the delay in filming.

If Buchi Babu’s film goes on to set this year, then Ram Charan will have a chance to release the movie next year before Game Changer’s release, and there is no wrong in it as it is a commitment failure from Shankar and not Charan.

At least now, he should change the plans and start working parallel on Buchi Babu’s film as early as possible without postponing it further. So, he can have two immediate releases, and it is a very crucial period for Charan as the movies are coming after a global blockbuster like RRR, so the Mega Power Star should not waste any more time.

Recently, the young music director Anirudh got massive success and craze. South Indian Cinema. His form and brand drew most Telugu makers to try and rope him for many films, but it did not happen. Because of the huge remuneration and tight schedule, Anirudh proved unaffordable for Telugu movies.

Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti’s film unit and Balakrishna – Bobby’s film team tried to get Anirudh. Still, he reportedly demanded 10Cr remuneration and did not commit to songs for both films. Hence, the Telugu filmmakers left those attempts, and they are now back from Anirudh and are said to be in final discussions with DSP.

The same goes with AR Rahman, too, as he was a viable option for Sekhar Kammula – Dhanush’s film, but for the same reasons like budget and unavailability, the makers could not rope him. The project’s team is now in final discussions with DSP, and a few more films are also said to be going similarly.

Special shows permission granted for Diwali releases

The Special shows permission has been granted for Tamil Diwali releases, Karthi’s Japan and Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda Double X. It is widely known that the filmmakers in Kollywood need to get official permission from the government to screen additional shows apart from the regular four shows. 

In this order, the TN government permitted Japan and Jigarthanda Double X to screen special shows. Now, both the films can be screened for five shows in Tamil Nadu, starting at 9 AM.

Japan, written and directed by Raju Murugan, is described as a heist comedy film and has been given a U/A certificate by the CBFC.

Japan’s ensemble cast comprises Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, KS Ravikumar, Jithan Ramesh, Bava Chelladurai, and more, in addition to Karthi. Dream Warrior Pictures, a company known for films like Kaithi and Sulthan, provided funding for the film, and GV Prakash Kumar composed the music. It is believed that the film will portray Karthi as a thief who has stolen 200 crores worth of jewelry. 

Jigarthanda Double X is a follow-up to the 2014 film Jigarthanda, which Karthik Subbaraj directed. According to reports, the film has been provided a U/A Certificate by the CBFC and will run for 2 hours and 52 minutes. Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creations, and Ivenio Origin have worked together to produce the film.

The music for the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while S Thirunavukkarasu has cranked the camera.
