Fans worried about the latest buzz on Salaar trailer

Salaar’s trailer is the most awaited one across the industries. After the humungous success of the teaser, fans are eager to get a bigger sneak peek into the world that Prashanth Neel has created. While the excitement around the trailer that’s reportedly releasing on December 1st is at an all-time high, some fans are now worried about the latest reports doing rounds online.

As per reports, Salaar will have a single trailer for all languages. While this strategy worked for the teaser as it had just one dialogue, fans are worried that the trailer needs more talkie parts, and releasing it all in just one language would not help in making the dialogues popular and the trailer viral.

When it comes to pan-India films of this level, the fans always want the trailer to be released separately in each and every language as the trailer needs dialogues from the main characters. In this case, fans want to hear some intense dialogues from Prabhas. We need to see if the buzz is true or not and if it is indeed true, then we have to see how Prashanth Neel can handle this.

Story:

Krupa (SJ Suryah) is imprisoned for murders which he had not committed. Alias Caesar (Raghava Lawrence) holds the whole area Kurnool in his hands with the support of politicians. Jayakrishna (Shine Tom Chacko) is a star hero, and he wants to make it big in politics. 

He brings his younger brother (Naveen Chandra), who works as a DSP, to kill the four rowdies who are supporting his enemy politician. The DSP selects four people who are serving jail terms for various reasons. He instructs each of them to kill a rowdy. Krupa is assigned the job of killing Alias Caesar. With this, Krupa joins Caesar’s gang in the name of a director named Ray Dasan. Did the plan workout? How did the journey of Caesar and Ray Dasan go? What is the main intention behind Jayakrishna and politicians? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Performances:

Positives: SJ Suryah once again gives an impeccable performance while Raghava Lawrence gets a different role unlike usual comedy roles, and he was good. Nimisha Sajayan, Naveen Chandra were superb. Shine Tom Chacko and others were apt.

Jigarthanda Double X Verdict:

Jigarthanda Double X is an uncertain but honest action drama which has a few flaws like boring parts in the initial part and heavy emotions at scenes before the climax. But the film works because of Karthik Subbaraj’s truthful narrative which is blended with good entertaining moments between SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence who make the proceedings engaging with their camaraderie. Overall the film can be a good experience, but it is not a regular entertainer.

Karthi’s Japan is releasing today and the actor has been on a promotion spree across states for the last few weeks. During the promotions, Karthi has spoken at length about his role in Japan and his journey into the films.

However, his recent comments have attracted some backlash. At Japan’s pre-release event, Karthi answered a question on the term nepo kid being used for him. Karthi said that he is not a nepo kid because nepo kid means someone whose father earns a lot of money, fame, and MD chair waiting for the son. “Right from childhood everyone said the same to me saying your father has got a lot of fame and money so it will be easy for you.” But my father never encouraged us to come to the industry.

I liked creative jobs so I wanted to be in the direction field and producer Gnanavel Raja supported me in this and said he would provide every help that his father would have. Karthi added that he and Suriya struggled a lot in the beginning for film releases and this is why they are not nepo kids.

Netizen are mocking these comments by questioning how a common man could get access to work under Mani Ratanm as an AD at his peak time. They are also questioning if Gnanavel Raja would have supported other common people .

People are questioning the logic of Karthi’s statements. He should have father’s influence helped him and Suriya in getting entry and initial chances in the industry and beyond that it was the two brother’s hard work and talent that made them big stars. Saying they didn’t use their father’s fame is wrong.

Karthi came before Telugu and Tamil audiences with his 25th film, Japan, with an interesting story plot. The trailer was different and everyone excepted another good film from Karthi. However, only Karthi was able to shine in this unexciting thriller. Scroll down for the review of the movie.

Story: 200 Crores Worth Jewelry gets robbed in a jewelry shop in Hyderabad. The robbery is said to be done by Japan (Karthi) Sridhar (Sunil) and Bhavani (Vijay Melton) are appointed as the investigative officers, and they begin their investigation to catch Japan. Did they succeed in catching Japan? How did Japan deal with the Police? How is Sanju (Anu Immanuel) related to Japan?

Performances: Karthi performed with his ease and tried to carry the entire film on his shoulders. Sunil was fine and so was Vijay Melton. Anu Immanuel does not have much scope to perform.

Japan Movie Verdict:

Japan had a crazy lead character in a regular plot. However, the film turns out to be an unexciting crime thriller because of dragged screenplay, weak writing and lifeless emotions. Only Karthi was able to shine with his earnest attempt to entertain as Japan.
