At the time of the release of RRR, Ram Charan promised that RRR was a Rajamouli film, and as it was also made on such a vast scale. He had a gap in releases, and he promised his fans and audiences that in subsequent years, he would release multiple films, and on an average of 2 movies per year, he said five films would be released by  2024. He said these statements before the release of RRR.

But his solo film has yet to be released, and there is no possibility for his next movie, Game Changer, to be out in 2024, looking at the current scenario. He said he will release five films after RRR by 2024, but not even a single film has been released till now. In Acharaya, Ram Charan was seen, but it was a multi-starrer film and not a solo film. So it goes to Chiranjeevi’s credit, the film’s main hero.

The fans are okay with that, even if Ram Charan releases one film in two years. However, as said above, Ram Charan and Shankar’s Game Changer has gone through so many delays, and even the film’s first single, Jaragandi, scheduled to be released on Diwali, has been postponed lately.

Venkatesh and Nani are big stars, and if we compare their stardom, they are miles ahead of young hero Teja Sajja, who is just a few films old. But surprisingly, now their upcoming film business shocked everyone.

The ratio of Andhra [6 Territories] is said to be the same for all three movies, around 10Cr, and the Ceeded area’s business is also expected to be in the range of 3.5 – 4Cr. Total Andhra Pradesh’s business will be at the same ratio now for all the films, which is shocking.

Hanuman, the film, got a massive craze after its glimpse was released, as it worked so significantly for the movie. The team recently announced that they will release new promotional content every Tuesday.

Hanuman is put up in a fictitious location named Anjanadri. Amritha Aiyer plays the main heroine, Vinay Rai plays the antagonist, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays a significant role. K Niranjan Reddy of Prime Show Entertainment produced the film. 

The film is slated for a grand worldwide release on January 12, 2024. Presented by Smt Chaitanya, the film has Asrin Reddy as the executive producer, Venkat Kumar Jetty as the line producer, and Kushal Reddy as the associate producer. The film has music by Gourahari – Anudeep Dev, and Krishna Saurabh.

Ram Charan fans were happy because of the most significant update from the production house. However, the makers recently informed that the Jaragandi song’s release has been officially postponed.

There was a set of rumors regarding the song Jaragandi’s postponement. Much to the dismay of Charan fans, as previously announced, the Jaragandi song won’t be released for Diwali. The team released an official note stating the same. According to the makers, the song’s release was postponed due to unavoidable audio documentation issues between different films. Later on, the new release date will be communicated.

The fans are extremely unhappy with this delay, and definitely, this is not the right way for the makers to promote a big film like Game Changer, which is being made on a massive budget, and the shoot of the movie started two years back.

The team guaranteed that the delay would be worth it. “Everything from Game Changer will be the best,” wrote the makers. Fans of Charan will need to wait a little longer for the song. Dil Raju, an ace producer, is funding this prestigious project under Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The music is being composed by S Thaman.

The industry buzz is that an upcoming biggie’s 2nd half’s flow went completely wrong, and the film, which is almost at the end of the shooting, is facing a big problem now. Reportedly, the film’s lead hero has already said to have expressed the same at shooting time, that he cannot be convinced and understand the flow of the 2nd half. 

But the director had convinced him and told the hero he was in total clarity. He also stated that after completing the film, everyone would understand his way of taking.

However, things did not go right, and now the director is said to be disappointed after watching the 2nd half, and he feels that the film’s hero was correct regarding the 2nd half. But now he cannot do anything as the movie is almost at the end of the shooting.

The 1st half of the film is said to have come out decently. Now, the team is trying to make possible changes to make the 2nd half at least average. The movie’s positive sign is the action episodes, which came out very well, but the drama and theme of the film are said to be misfired in the 2nd half.

The team is working hard to bring the second half to an average – above-average level. It is a commercial and big film, so above-average content can also pull it at the box office. The only thing they have to do is set the second half’s content as watchable content, at least.

Sun TV records good profits in the second quarter

Sun TV records good profits in the second quarter. Sun TV owns multiple ventures like Movie production, TV channels, OTT platforms and in cricket franchises as well. The team has given an official report for a 2nd quarter [July – September] of this financial year.

On Friday, Sun TV Networks Ltd, which is based in South India, reported a 14.05 percent rise in its consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) to Rs 464.54 crore for the September quarter. According to Sun TV Network’s regulatory filing, the company had a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 407.31 crore in the year before.

The revenue generated from operations was Rs 1,048.45 crore, a 26.98 percent increase from Rs 825.65 crore over the period. Sun TV Networks’ total expenses increased by 45.92 percent to Rs 541.06 crore. The total income of it went up by 26.8 percent to Rs 1,160.21 crore. Meanwhile, Sun TV also said the result “includes income from the Holding Company’s Cricket franchises (Sun Risers Hyderabad and Sun Risers Eastern Cape) for the 2023 season of Rs 1.02 crore and Rs 513.68 crore for the quarter and six months ended September 30.”

Sun TV Network offers satellite TV channels in six different languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi, and they also broadcast FM radio stations nationally. In addition to its other assets, Sun Risers Hyderabad cricket franchise in the Indian Premier League, Sun Risers Eastern Cape in Cricket South Africa’s T20 League, and the digital OTT platform Sun NXT are all owned by it. On Friday, Sun TV Networks Ltd’s shares settled at Rs 646.95 on the BSE, which was 1.05 percent lower than its previous close.

Versatile actor Chandra Mohan passed away

Versatile actor Chandra Mohan passed away this morning. Mallampalli Chandra Mohan, a veteran actor in the Telugu film industry, died today. He was 82 years old. He died this morning at 9.45 a.m. in a private hospital in Jubilee Hills. Chandra Mohan was being treated for cardiac problems for a few days. The funeral of Chandra Mohan Garu will be held in Hyderabad on Monday. Versatile actor Chandra Mohan passed away, leaving his loved ones in deep sorrow.

He was a multi-award-winning actor who received multiple Nandi awards. He began his career in 1966 with Rangula Ratnam Movie and never looked back. He has worked with actresses such as Sridevi, Jayaprada, and Jayasudha in his prime days and has continued as an actor over three decades, donning many memorable roles. 

Chandramohan was born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao on May 23, 1943, in the tiny town of Pamidimukkala in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna region. He made an indelible impact on Telugu films as an actor.

Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife, Jalandhara, and two daughters. He is the younger brother of legendary director K Viswanath. Chandra Mohan’s last rituals will take place on Monday, November 13th. Tollywood is grieving the untimely death of a talented actor, and the deepest sympathies of Track Tollywood are extended to Chandra Mohan’s family.

The Pre-festival impact is showing on all Indian releases. It is widely known that the Telugu industry always feels the Diwali season is unsuitable for films, so there are no notable releases from the Telugu film industry this Diwali.

Only Dubbed films have been released this week. From Hindi, Tiger 3 is being released tomorrow. The pre-festival impact is hitting hard for a movie like Tiger 3 despite being a Spy series film and having a star hero, Salman Khan.

The film is getting released on Diwali day but needs to put record numbers. The advance bookings are trending on a good note, and the movie is expected to take a decent start, but it will not be a record opening. The YRF team has made a good decision by releasing the film on Sunday.

If they had released Tiger 3 on Friday, it may have seen a poor opening with more pre-festival effect. It is widely known that Karthi’s Japan was released yesterday, and it saw the lowest opening for Karthi in the Tamil language. The film received a bad opening in TN while decent in Telugu.

Jigarthanda Double X, a 100Cr budget film, also saw the lowest openings than Japan as the openings were very poor everywhere. Still, word of mouth has come positive for the film, and yesterday’s night shows were better compared to the other shows, and the trade expects the film to perform well from today.

So, the festival has affected all the Diwali releases, and all the films are expected to perform hugely on Monday.

Thaman unsatisfied with Game Changer 1st single

It has been quite some time since fans got to hear anything from the team Game Changer. There has been no update on this Ram Charan – Kiara Advani starter and fans are hoping Shankar would give them some respite at least through the movie’s first single.

The buzz is that the lyrical video is ready but Thaman is unsatisfied with the changes and the singer. Thaman has also taken the negative feedback received from leaked songs and has made some corrections to the music too. Since it’s the first time he’s working on Shankar’s film, Thaman wants to deliver his best.

Due to all these last-minute changes, the song release is getting delayed. Shankar has to first approve this new version of the song only after his approval will the update be released. Normally all these things should have been done way earlier as the song announcement was made on Dasara which ensured a good time in hands for Thaman and team to review and finalize the lyrical work.

But these last-minute changes have created quite a bit of worry for Ram Charan fans as as there is only one day left. If the update does not come today, the song officially postponed and it will surely disappoint fans who were eagerly waiting for the song.
