The Mangalavaram pre-release event had Allu Arjun in attendance as the chief guest. During the Hyderabad event, he provided exciting details about his upcoming film, Pushpa: The Rule. Allu Arjun stated that he recently completed shooting for the Jathara episode.

The star actor also referred to the distinctive appearance of the First Look poster. Allu Arjun was confident that the episode would be well-received by the audience. He informed the audience that Pushpa 2 will be released on August 15th next year and promised to provide further information at future events.

Furthermore, he thanked the support and flood of wishes he received for his National Award victory. The event was his first-ever public appearance following the national award, and he expressed his desire to keep making his fans proud with their continued love and blessings.

Allu Arjun extended his congratulations to team Mangalavaram and wished them a great success. The film, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, had Payal Rajput playing the main role.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Nagarjuna calling out Shivaji’s head weight while discussing his arrogant behavior was the main highlight. Like every weekend episode, Nagarjuna reviewed the housemates’ game and directly said to Shivaji that he got head weight.

Nag funnily started by saying that Shivaji did lose the weight but gained head weight, Nags did not elaborate on that time. After Shivaji becoming the captain, Nagarjuna showed a video where Shivaji commented on female housemates during the nominations time. However, Shivaji immediately flipped and said his comments were meant to be funny.

But anyone who watched the video can definitely say that he said those words on a serious note. He always does the same in the house. At first, he casually talks bad about others and flips his words when questioned. Everything is good in Shivaji’s behavior, but this part is absolutely bad, and the sad thing is he is not accepting his mistakes.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna spoke about Shivaji’s son who entered the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. “Your son is just like you. You, too, have lost weight and have become handsome. But, the weight has been reduced. The head weight has increased,” he said. Shivaji was shocked by Nag’s words. “I’ve been like this since the beginning. There is no change in me. I’ll be there in the house if people keep me. Otherwise, I will go away.”

Shivaji, however, tried to cover up his words by saying they were told in a funny note. However, Nagarjuna said that Shivaji should be careful with his words. This may be the reason why he directly said Shivaji’s head weight has increased in the beginning of the episode. A spectator who participated in the Saturday’s episode also expressed the same opinion.

Pippa : AR Rahman gets involved in a big controversy

AR Rahman gets involved in a big controversy because of a song he used in Pippa. It is widely known that Pippa, the film starring Ishaan Khatter in the lead role, started to stream on Amazon Prime Video from November 10th. While the film received a decent response, AR Rahman’s rendition of a popular patriotic song by legendary Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam has become the cause of the controversy.

Pippa, directed by Piyush Mishra and starring Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur, utilized the song. The family of the late poet has expressed their dissatisfaction with a ‘distortion’ in the rhythm and tunes of the song.

The song, “Karar oi louho kopat’ (Iron bars of a jail)”, was utilized in the war movie “Pippa” that depicted actual events that occurred during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh.

Kazi Anirban, the grandson of Islam, was appalled at the modifications made to the song and characterized them as ‘injustice’. He asserted that his mother had given her consent for the song to be used in the movie, but she did not approve of any changes to the tunes.

“The way the song has been dished out with the change in rhythm and tunes is shocking. My mother, when she was alive, used to look after the legalities of contracts. I have to check that once, as she is not alive anymore. I will have to check what is in the contract and then speak to my family members, and take the next step,” he said.

“The song was rendered with a background of fighting the British. It inspired freedom fighters. I don’t understand why Rahman sir did this, it’s injustice. I appeal that this song is dropped. He (Rahman) didn’t understand either the lyrics or the background of the song,” he added.

Kazi Nazrul Islam, widely known as the ‘rebel poet’, was born in 1899 in the present-day Paschim Bardhaman district of West Bengal. The popularity of his songs, which are known as ‘Nazrul geeti’, in Bengal is second to that of Rabindranath Tagore.

AR Rahman is yet to respond to this controversy. We have to wait and see how he reacts to the issue.

In the 70th episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Shivaji becoming the new captain was the main highlight. As usual, Nagarjuna reviewed the gameplay of the housemates and discussed the plus and minus points this week. Overall, the 70th Episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7 was a mix of fun and emotions.

At first, Nagarjuna entered the stage while dancing to the Dum Masala Song from Guntur Kaaram. He then discussed this season with the audience and watched the footage of Friday.

Priyanka Jain and Shobha Shetty discussed the captaincy task a little emotionally. Amar and Shobha Shetty had a heated argument about the task. Amar and Rathika debated the same, and Shivaji intervened and accused Rathika of not entering the Baby Zone with his baby doll. The housemates played the Heritage milk task.

Then Nagarjuna came before the housemates on Mana TV. Nag asked all the housemates about Shobha’s performance as a captain. After that, Nag asked the contestants about the Family moments.

Afterward, Nagarjuna called all the housemates into the confession room individually and asked them to choose the new captain between Arjun and Gautam. He also asked each of the housemates how their week was. In the 70th episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Shivaji becomes the new house captain as he receives majority votes. 

Nagarjuna asked Shivaji why he talked about Raja Mathalu during the Captaincy task. Shivaji said he said those words in a fun way and did not mean to hurt anyone. However, the audience in the bigg boss’s house felt that Shivaji was furious, and he lied that it was a fun talk. The audience also felt that Priyanka Shobha showed favoritism to Amar during the nominations.

Nag also made the housemates play the task of Pass or Fail, where they had to take the names of two fellow housemates and tell who passed and who failed.

Finally, at the end of the 70th episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Rathika Rose received majority votes in the failed category, and Nag told her to play the game without fear.

Avika Gor’s another web series set to stream on OTT

Avika Gor is all set to appear in another web series that will be streaming on OTT soon. The Uyyala Jampala Actress is continuously doing web Series these days. Recently she did a series called Mansion 24 which is streaming on Hotstar from four weeks and now she is playing the lead in another web series named ” Vadhuvu ” coming soon on Hotstar.

The first look of the series titled ” Vadhuvu” has been released. In this, Avika Gor was seen shedding tears in her wedding attire. “Marriage full of secrets. Get ready for Indu’s story soon,” the makers captioned the web series. Bigg Boss fame Ali Reza and actor Nandu also play the lead roles in this web series. Like the Mansion 24 series, Vadhuvu also belongs to the thriller genre.

The series has almost completed shooting and will soon be available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. An official announcement in this regard will be made soon. Abhishek Daga produces the web series under the banner of SVF Social. Avika Gor was last seen in the Telugu film Popcorn. In Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You, she played a key role. However, these two films did not click much. With this, she is now primarily acting in OTT films and series.

Tiger 3: 1st day advance bookings and box office expectations

Tiger 3, Salman Khan’s upcoming film, is all set to release on worldwide screens tomorrow and let’s take a look at the 1st day advance bookings and box office expectations of this action thriller. Up to now, the film has 20Cr+ advance bookings in India and in overseas the advance bookings gross will be around 13 – 14Cr. The Total opening day advance bookings will be in the range of 35Cr until now.

The film has a good advantage in overseas because of the Saturday Premiers, and it will take best opening for Salman khan. Overall, the film is expected to open in the range of 40Cr net in India. In Overseas the trade expects the film to collect around 40Cr Gross.

Which means Tiger 3 films’ 1st day Total worldwide Gross is estimated to open with 85 – 90Cr and looks like there is no chance of the film joining the 100Cr opening on day 1.

Even though it misses the magical number of 100Cr, the 90Cr opening is also an excellent opening which will put the film in the all-time Top 3Rd spot in Bollywood highest openers after Jawan and Pathaan.

Tiger 3 is the third film of the Tiger franchise. Yash Raj Films backed it. Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik as Kabir from WAR will make a special appearance in the film. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film is said to have stunning action sequences and reportedly, Tiger 3 is the biggest action film in YRF Spy Series.

The film Tiger 3 sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reunite as agents Tiger and Zoya. The trailer of Tiger 3 also shows the personal struggle of Salman’s character. Besides saving the nation, Tiger also has a new nemesis named Emraan Hashmi, who is the primary antagonist of the film.

L2E – Empuran First Look was a big disappointment for the fans. It is widely known that Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal and another Star Actor and director Prithiviraj Sukumaran announced a sequel to their 2019 blockbuster, Lucifer. The film’s first look was unveiled this evening and L2E – Empuran First Look was a big disappointment.

Lucifer was a massive blockbuster and obviously, there was a massive hype on the sequel and the film’s budget is said to be the biggest ever in Mollywood and it is getting released in all Indian languages. However, the makers seem to have failed in attracting the audiences as L2E – Empuran first look turned out to be a big disappointment.

As said above the fans and audiences were so excited about the 1st look announcement of L2E Empuran but shockingly, the first look was disappointing. It does not even show the hero’s look. The audiences always want to know how the hero got transformed a for film. That is the reason there was a big excitement for the first look of this Sequel , but not even revealing the hero’s face and calling it as a first look makes one wonder what was the thinking of when releasing such a poster.

The makers claimed that Empuraan has returned and that the saga will continue with a new level of power play. We can observe the lead actor is holding a gun in his hand and observing a large attack of a helicopter that is aiming its weapons toward him. It is evident that all of his surroundings are on fire, and the poster tried to portray a high level of intensity and drama.

L2E Empuran is being produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. Murali Gopy is the writer while Deepak Dev is the music composer. Sujith Vaassudev is the director of photography. The film will also feature Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Indrajith Sukumaran, who were key actors in the first part. The movie will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Japan and Jigarthanda Double X 1st day worldwide box office collections

Japan and Jigarthanda Double X were the two major releases this weekend vying to attract the audience for Diwali. Karthi’s Japan opened with Rs 3Cr gross in Tamil Nadu and Rs 2Cr gross in Telugu states. The other territories’ gross is around Rs 2.5 Cr. In total, Karthi’s Japan managed a total gross of around Rs 7.5Cr. for opening day which is below par.

Starring Anu Emanuel and Sunil in key roles, Japan’s talk was not at all encouraging. It witnessed a big drop in all territories excluding Tamil Nadu where it stayed in the same range as the opening day even on day 2. Japan, written and directed by Raju Murugan, is described as a heist comedy film and Karthi’s unique characterization surely evoked some interest. However, the dull screenplay added to the film’s troubles and it received poor word-of-mouth

Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda Double X featuring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence opened around Rs 2.5Cr range of business in Tamil Nadu and the worldwide gross is around 4.5Cr which is a poor opening considering the film’s high budget and star cast. But with positive talk, the film witnessed a more than double jump today and is expected to go bigger by each passing day for the next days. Overall in the battle of Japan and Jigarthanda Double X, it appears that the latter has emerged victorious.

It is widely known that Karthi and Lawrence competed at the box office this Friday with Japan and Jigarthanda Double X. No one expected such a bad film from Karthi, and on the other side, Raghava Lawrence surprised everyone with his new movie. As an actor, he mostly played the same roles, so he faced much criticism for his performance, even for his recent film, Chandramukhi 2.

Lawrence received a lot of criticism for his acting in Chandramukhi 2. But in Jigarthanda Double X, he delivered an honest and career-best performance.  The role of Alias Caesar is versatile, and he made every audience emotional at the climax. Lawrence’s performance surprised everyone, while Karthi shocked everyone with a bad script selection for the landmark film. 

Japan, written and directed by Raju Murugan, is described as a heist comedy film and has been given a U/A certificate by the CBFC.

Japan’s ensemble cast comprises Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, KS Ravikumar, Jithan Ramesh, Bava Chelladurai, and more, in addition to Karthi. Dream Warrior Pictures, a company known for films like Kaithi and Sulthan, provided funding for the movie, and GV Prakash Kumar composed the music. The film is believed to portray Karthi as a thief who has stolen 200 crores worth of jewelry. 

Jigarthanda Double X is a follow-up to the 2014 film Jigarthanda, which Karthik Subbaraj directed. According to reports, the film has been provided a U/A Certificate by the CBFC and will run for 2 hours and 52 minutes. Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creations, and Ivenio Origin have worked together to produce the film.

The music for the film was composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while S Thirunavukkarasu cranked the camera.

No Prabhas film will be released in 2024

No Prabhas film will be released in 2024. It is sad news for Prabhas’s fans, but looking at the progress of his upcoming film, it is inevitable that no Prabhas film will be released in 2024. It is widely known that Prabhas is working on two movies, Salaar and Kalki – 2898 AD.

While Salaar’s work has been almost completed, Kalki 2898 AD has a long way to go. Salaar is getting released on December 22nd and next year the fans of Prabhas will not be able to see him on screen as no Prabhas film will be released in 2024.Prabha’s Kalki 2898 AD was planned for Sankranthi 2024 at first, but because of the delay in CG works, the team pushed it to the Summer of 2024 

The latest buzz is that there is no chance for the film to be released in 2024, as Nag Ashwin is very particular about everything in the film and wants to deliver the best output with the movie. Also, the film involves a lot of CG work, so the making is taking a lot of time.

The film will likely be released in early 2025, and Maruthi’s movie will be released after Kalki only, as per Prabhas’s plan. Salaaar will be released at the end of this year, and Prabhas’s next film’s release will be in 2025. So, no Prabhas film will be released in 2024.
