The film collected a worldwide Gross of 800 Cr, and recently, it joined the 500 Cr Club at the Indian box office. Animal earned a profit of 300 crore for the producers.
The film Animal is said to have been made on a budget of 200Cr, and 140Cr was returned to the makers from non-theatrical rights. They have released the film independently without selling it to third parties and took advances only.
Animal – A big jackpot for the makers
As said above, the film has crossed 800Cr gross worldwide and collected a share of more than 350Cr, and it is expected to close with a share of around 400Cr in the full run. The producers just need 60 Crores from theatricals, and even if they remove production and publicity costs, commission, and other expenses, the producers will easily get around 300Cr as a profit. That means Animal earned a profit of 300 crore for the producers.
Director Sandeep Vanga is also one of the producers of this film and the T series, and they both shared the profits. It is a big jackpot for them. Now, the team wants to encash this craze by making the sequel, Animal Park, as soon as possible; the initial works for the second part of Animal are said to have started already.

Animal has Ranbir, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead actors, along with Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, and others in supporting roles. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who worked with Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, directed the movie, focusing on a father and son’s toxic relationship. Anil plays the emotionally unreliable father, and Ranbir plays the traumatized and angry son.
