Atlee’s Bollywood directorial debut Jawan was a massive blockbuster and got Shahrukh Khan his second consecutive 1000 crore grosser of the year. The film marked Atlee’s elevation to the big league of directors in Bollywood. Now, the young director is reportedly getting ready for his next film, featuring the Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan.
Atlee likes to repeat his star cast and work with the same stars. After his directorial debut with Raja Rani, he collaborated with Vijay for Theri and continuously did three films with Vijay- Theri, Mersal, and Bigil. Similarly, he has worked with Nayanthara in Raja Rani, Bigil, and Jawan further highlighting his keenness to repeat his stars in his films.
There are also talks of a film with Allu Arjun which has not received any solid conclusion. The director is now working on a project on Shahrukh Khan again whether it will be an SRK- Vijay multistarrer or a single-star film with Shahrukh Khan needs to be seen. Kollywood circles are speculating an SRK- Atlee movie shortly and the announcement will be made soon.
