The crazy project Mr Bachchan in the magical combination of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Star Director Harish Shankar, and Top Production House People Media Factory starts rolling today. The movie which had its opening ceremony a few days ago went on the floors today.

Ravi Teja joined the shoot on day one and the shoot commenced with the team canning scene 6, shot 34. In the image shared by Ravi Teja himself, he is seen along with a group of people. The clapboard covers his face. The makers will be filming some important scenes on the lead cast in this lengthy schedule.

It is widely known that Rebel Star Prabhas and King Khan Shah Rukh Khan have released their films, Salaar and Dunki in competition on the Christmas weekend. Though the film was unable to dominate at first, Salaar begins dominating in Hindi belts over Dunki now.

Dunki and Salaar both were off to a very slower start at Hindi markets. While Dunki maintained a 5 – 10Cr lead over Salaar on the weekend and Christmas festival days, it saw a drastic drop in the numbers after the festival. Prabhas’s Salaar maintained strong collections at the North Box Office.

On Tuesday Salaar’s Hindi version and Dunki collected in the same range and both movies collected around 9.5Cr and on Wednesday Salaar took the lead as it collected 9Cr net whereas Dunki managed to get 8.5Cr net only.

Now Salaar is performing excellent in Hindi belts on weekdays. The total collections of the Hindi version of Salaar is at 86Cr net now, and it will join the 100Cr net club by tomorrow. The film should maintain the same stronghold and should go closer to the 200Cr mark to attain a hit status in the Hindi version.

In a recent interaction, star producers Dil Raju, Naga Vamsi, and Mythri Ravi revealed that after Corona OTT business saved a lot of films. Most producers were safe due to the rise of OTT platforms and their willingness to purchase movie rights for good amounts. However, the rise of OTT has affected the satellite business. Now Telugu satellite and Hindi dubbing is not working like before and have completely crashed.

While OTT and audio rights are doing a good business some audio platforms have started corrections and negotiations. The OTT platforms have also gradually started changing their ways and have started corrections as several films and their buzz are not working as well as expected. Due to these changes, eventually audio and OTT deals have also been impacted.

While this is the case with digital and musical rights, overall non-theatrical business is not happening like before. The producers have become heavily reliant on the theatrical market. It is now mandatory for the film to do well theatrically for producers to be safe. The crashing non-theatrical business is now leading to budget revisions and even cancellations due to over budget films on paper.
