Story: Chandrasekhar (Shivaji) is a regular middle-class family man, accompanied by his wife Rani (Vasuki Anand Sai) and their three children, Raghu (Mauli Tanuj Prashant), Divya (Vasanthika), and the youngest, Aditya (Rohan Roy). Chandrasekhar, a mathematics teacher at a Government School, endeavors to secure a brighter future for his children through private education. The series shows the family witnessing the challenges and triumphs with a nostalgic touch of middle-class life.

Performances: Sivaji skillfully transforms into the character of Chandrasekhar, capturing the true essence of a middle-class father. As the queen of the household, Vasuki Anand Sai performs commendably. Mouli’s natural acting as Raghu stands out in the show, showcasing his talent. The effortless performances of Vasanthika and Rohan Roy further enhance the series.

Analysis: The director, Aditya, deserves credit for showcasing the aspect of middle-class existence, family situations, goals, and innocent love/crush tales during school days impressively and entertainingly. The best thing in the series is that the narrative never tries to inject any message or emotional depth forcefully, but it goes on a seemingly natural mode with a nice blend of fun and emotions.

90’s Web Series Review and Verdict:

90s is true to its caption of a middle-class biopic. Director Aditya Hasan showed a heartwarming family drama with an entertaining touch. Though the series gives a feel of drag in the middle parts for a while, it had enough engaging moments to sit through.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life is all set to go on to sets. It is widely known that after ‘Nayagan’ (1987) the legendary Kamal and Mani Ratnam duo reunited for a new film called Thug Life. The announcement video had received a superb response from the Tamil film fans. The latest news is that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life is all set to go on to sets in the second week of January.

Thug Life also stars Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Gautham Karthik, and others in pivotal roles. Academy Award Winner A R Rahman composes the music for the film, and Ravi K Chandran handles the cinematography. The film’s shooting of this film is scheduled to start on the 18th of January in Chennai.

As said above, the film was planned to be released in March 2023 but postponed to June 2023. From there, again, it was moved to August, September, and October and finally announced for February 9th, 2024. Now, once again, it has been postponed because of Eagle’s postponement. 

For the past year, the movie has continuously postponed its release date. The team said they wanted to release the film when satisfied with the output. But on the positive side, the promotional content is working big as the songs and posters released have clicked instantly, and the movie will have a good buzz whenever it is released.

Tillu Square stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. In partnership with Fortune Four Cinemas, Sithara Entertainments, a well-known production house, bankrolled this movie.

The film moved from Sankranthi and will be released on 9th February. 

It is open news that some differences have been created between Dil Raju and Hanuman Producer Niranjan Reddy, and Niranjan Reddy expressed his concern that they were not even getting a minimum number of theatres in Nizam.

Dil Raju says Hanuman is the least preferable movie in Sankranthi releases

Yesterday, while speaking to the press, Dil Raju said that the theatres will be allocated according to the star status. He informed me that the priority is Mahesh Babu, the Second priority is Venkatesh, followed by Nagarjuna, and lastly, Hanuman. Dil Raju is intentionally hurting Hanuman Producers with these words. 

If we observe the anticipation in the audiences and even business-wise, Guntur Kaaram will be at the top place. Dil Raju is correct to quote that Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are more prominent stars than Teja Sajja, the lead of Hanuman.

But what matters is the buzz and business of the films. Hanuman’s business and buzz are on par or even more than Saindhav and Naa Saami Ranga. It did 20Cr+ business in Telugu states.  It did 7Cr+ business in Nizam, but Dil Raju still put the film in the last position. This looks pretty intentional as Dil Raju is releasing the three films Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga in Nizam, and Mythri releases Hanuman. 

If Dil Raju had said that he is releasing three films, and that is why he has allotted maximum theatres for his movies, then it would make some sense, but generalizing things and saying Hanuman is the last preferable film for theatres is nothing but unnecessarily hurting Hanuman’s Producers.

Each episode explores different emotions and turmoils and deals with societal pressure, glamourizing grades, patriarchal practices, beliefs, and ideals of middle-class families in India.

Actress Vasuki, who played Pawan Kalyan’s younger sister in ‘Tholi Prema,’ takes on the role of Shivaji’s wife. Mouli Tanuj, known for his YouTube videos, takes over the role of Shivaji’s son. Shivaji plays a teacher in the series. As said above, the series is set in the 1990s and provides a captivating journey through the nostalgic trip of middle-class life.

Naveen Medaram and Rajasekhar Medaram jointly produced the Web Series, 90’s, under the banners of Amogha Arts and MNO Productions, and Suresh Bobbili’s music supports it.
