Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life is all set to go on to sets. It is widely known that after ‘Nayagan’ (1987) the legendary Kamal and Mani Ratnam duo reunited for a new film called Thug Life. The announcement video had received a superb response from the Tamil film fans. The latest news is that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life is all set to go on to sets in the second week of January.
Thug Life also stars Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Gautham Karthik, and others in pivotal roles. Academy Award Winner A R Rahman composes the music for the film, and Ravi K Chandran handles the cinematography. The film’s shooting of this film is scheduled to start on the 18th of January in Chennai.
Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies will work together to produce this most awaited film.
In addition to Thug Life, Kamal will be featured in Indian 2, the follow-up to Shankar’s 1996 blockbuster vigilante action film. In the sequel, slated to be released in cinemas in August, he will play Senapathy again. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh are also cast in the movie.
