Budget Bomb Hits Indian 3

0

Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar, was planned as a single part, but due to the big runtime and cost, it was divided into two parts. Now, the next part, Indian 3, is hit by the budget bomb.

Most of the shoot of the third part of the film had already been completed before the release of Indian 2, and the plan was to release it in July and complete the balance shoot of the third part and release the film immediately.

But Indian 2’s result came as a shocker to the team, and it was not only an outright disaster, but it also received huge criticism and trolls, including Kamal Haasan’s performance. With that, Indian 3 was put on hold, and at the same time, Shankar’s other film, Game Changer, and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life ended up as huge disasters.

Indian 3’s progress halted because of the budget issues

Kamal, Shankar, and the producers had multiple meetings to discuss and complete the balance shooting and release the next part. But reportedly, producers are not ready to spend a big budget on the remaining portion of the shoot.

There is also a buzz that Shankar is not convinced to complete the remaining shoot according to the producers quoted amount. So, the budget woes hit Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 3, and that is the reason for the film not going on floors.

We need to wait and see if these problems get resolved and the third part of Indian gets on track.

Thaman Challenges Anirudh and Steals the Show

0

A few months ago, Thaman openly stated that OG will give an answer to films like Jailer, Leo, and Vikram, for which Anirudh scored music. Now, the music director is making his statement true with his music for Pawan Kalyan’s OG songs.

He said that he got a gangster film and will show to Tamil cinema what Telugu cinema will do with gangster films. Thaman faced many trolls after this statement, but he is hitting back at the trolls with OG BGM and songs.

OG’s Glimpse’s score, the FireStorm song, the Suvvi Suvvi song, Trance of OMI, and the latest song, Guns and Roses, proved that even Thaman can deliver bigger hits than Anirudh. The entire song of Guns and Roses is an example of trance and the peak of Thaman.

Fans love the instrumentation and music, as they are the best. Thaman continues to raise the hype for OG with his work, and he puts the film’s buzz at sky level.

Will Kushi Save AM Ratnam?

0

Producer A.M. Ratnam faced huge losses with Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, as the film faced multiple delays in the filming stage and ended as a big disaster at the box office. Now AM Ratnam has put his hopes on Vijay’s Kushi re-release.

Once upon a time, Ratnam was one of the biggest producers in Indian cinema, but he has been in a dire situation for the past few years, and as said above, with the result of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he faced big financial trouble.

AM Ratnam bets no Vijay’s Kushi Re-Release

Now to recover a bit from his financial woes, AM Ratnam is set to re-release Vijay’s Kushi. Everyone knows that the film’s Telugu version with Pawan Kalyan is a huge blockbuster, but the Tamil version, which came before, is also a sensational hit starring Vijay and Jyothika.

The film is all set to be re-released on 25th September, with Sakhti Film Factory releasing it. Vijay’s Ghilli re-release last year worked massively and collected more than 30 Cr gross, and if Kushi also gathers the same range of collections, then it will be a slight relief to AM Rathnam.

Achieving 3 million dollars in North America is still not easy even for stars if they come up with regular films. But young actor Teja Sajja is all set to achieve 3 million dollars in North America and join Prabhas and NTR.

In this year no film has collected 3 million from Telugu in North America, and if we see tier-2 movies, only Hanuman collected that much. Not only 3 million, but the film also goes past 5 million.

Some may say that achieving such a huge number for one time is a fluke or something, but the trade expectations on Teja Sajja’s Mirai are huge, and they are confident that the film will easily do 3 million in North America.

Teja Sajja to join the list of Prabhas and NTR with Mirai

From top heroes, only Prabhas and NTR achieved back-to-back 3 million grossers in North America till now in Tollywood. If Mirai joins this club, then Teja Sajja will join this list. These stats show how big milestones the young actor is achieving.

Mirai sees $1.74 million in the opening weekend, and it is expected to join the 2 Million club by tomorrow and definitely has all the chances to achieve 3 million.

After facing a big disaster like Agent, Akhil took a very long break to sign the film and started Lenin. The film was supposed to arrive this December. But the latest reports suggest that Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin has been postponed to summer 2026.

As said above, he took a lot of time to sign his next project after Agent (2023). He agreed to do a new film under Murali Kishore’s direction. The film is produced by Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi.

S. Thaman is the music director, while the crazy actress Sree Leela was roped in first as the leading actress, but later she was replaced by Bhagyashree Borse due to date issues.

Lenin Postponed – Not this December but Summer 2026

The film’s shooting is in full swing, and the unit is likely to complete the entire shoot by this year’s end or early next year. There were plans to release the film at the end of this year.

But now the news is that the makers have postponed Lenin and are planning to release it in early summer 2026.

Bellamkonda Sreenivas has scored a hit at the box office after a long time with his latest horror thriller, Kishkindhapuri. The combination of Anupama Parameswaran and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is one of the reasons for the film’s success.

Alludu Seenu was the debut film of Bellamkonda, and he also scored a good success with Jaya Janaki Nayaka. However, after that, he sees continuous setbacks with Sakshyam, Kavacham, and Sita.

Anupama Parameswaran is the lucky charm for Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas

At that time he remade the Tamil super-duper hit film Rakshashudu with Anupama as the lead actress. The film delivered the much-needed success for Bellamkonda.

Again after Rakshashudu, the actor sees several setbacks with Alludu Adurs, Chatrapati (Hindi), and the recent release Bhairava. Last weekend he came up with the film Kishkindhapuri.

Anupamaa Parameswaran joins her hands with Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas for Kishkindhapuri, which is now heading towards a super hit status.

The lead pair turns into a super hit combination, and we can expect more films in the future from them.

It will be interesting to see whether the film gets A or U/A, as it contains a lot of violence. Of course, any team wants U/A to bring as many audiences as possible.

OG has developed a humongous craze, and its runtime is said to be between 155 and 160 minutes. Sujeeth is currently busy locking a crispy runtime for the film, and he also enthralled fans with sharing a pic of himself along with Pawan Kalyan and Thaman.

The youthful entertainer Little Hearts sees a very good collection at the box office from opening day itself, as it got huge positive talk from premiers. The film started with a 2 Cr+ opening day and collected 24 Cr gross in the 1st week.

Even in the 2nd weekend, despite the arrival of new films like Mirai and Kishkindhapuri, Little Hearts managed to collect 8 Cr gross at the box office, which takes the total worldwide gross to 32 Cr.

Little Hearts continues the rampage at the Box Office in the second weekend

The film could have delivered double the numbers if there were no new releases, and as new releases opened with positive WOM, it impacted the film’s collections. But putting such numbers among the competition itself is a big achievement for the film.

The Sai Marthand directorial will continue to post numbers for a few more days and will easily get near the 40 Cr gross number in its full run. The collections are sensational for a small film made just on a 2.5 Cr budget.
