0

SSMB 29 has a massive craze among audiences even without an official announcement. Meanwhile, a viral gossip about the film is trending on the internet: the film is a two-part franchise with a budget of 1200 Cr.

But the closed sources to the team confirm it is a single-part film, but there will be a cliffhanger for other parts. It will have a proper ending, and they will do the shooting for a single part only.

There is a buzz that the team will end the film with scope for the next parts, but it will not happen immediately, and it will depend on how the film works and how it grows among the public.

There are continuous rumors going on about about Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s SSMB 29, as it is the biggest Indian film and targets global markets.

The team is likely to put on a press meet in November to release a glimpse and reveal all the details about the film.

The craze for the film is already very big, as the scale seems much bigger and beyond everyone’s expectations.

The film’s pre-sales cross the million-dollar number with 3 weeks to release. This is an incredible achievement, and the action drama is all set to become Pawan Kalyan’s biggest grosser in America with pre-sales for premieres alone.

RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, Pushpa 2, and Coolie are the films that have opened with over 3 million premieres from Indian cinema, and Pawan Kalyan’s OG is on track to join this club.

We will have to wait and see the further trend of the film to know at what position it will settle in the upcoming days. The film’s craze is becoming unprecedented and it may go to higher level with trailer and other promotional content.

No Big Hype for This Weekend’s Films

0

Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati and Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi are getting released in theaters this Friday. But, neither of this weekend releases has any big hype.

Nowadays, pre-release buzz plays a very crucial role for films, as audiences decide even before release whether they should go to a particular movie with pre-release buzz.

Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati and Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi releasing with zero hype

This is the reason for a few films not performing well, indeed with a positive WOM. As said above, this weekend’s releases, Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati and Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi, do not have big hype among audiences.

Despite both films having some big names, they still lack buzz and do not carry good advances, and they need substantial WOM to bring audiences to the theaters.

Another small film, Little Hearts, is getting released in theaters. The team promoted the film impressively, and they definitely succeeded in telling audiences that their movie is getting released on 5th September.

But that alone does not create hype or help the pre bookings. Even this film needs a big positive WOM to pull audiences towards the theaters.

0

Shine Screens’ production Kishkindhapuri and People Media Factory’s Mirai are releasing on 12th September. The clash was said to be avoided, but both films are releasing on the same day.

Not long ago, the producers let everyone know that Kishkindhapuri is coming out on September 13. In the end, they decided to keep the original release date of September 12.

Koushik Pegallapati directed the film, featuring Anupama Parameswaran and Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the main roles. Today, they released the trailer, which was well-received. Both films target universal audiences, and everyone is excited to see which will win at the box office.

The competition between Shine Screens and People Media Factory does not end here. Prabhas’s The Raja Saab, which is backed by PMF, competes with Shine Screens’ production Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which is set to be released for Sankranthi 2026.

If we observe, in both situations, the Shine Screens team was the first one to announce the release date, but People Media Factory came into the race afterward. Mirai was announced for 5th September and was moved to 12 September.

Also, Prabhas and Maruthi’s Raja Saab, which was announced for 5th December, moves to Sankranthi 2026. So, it is a double clash between the production houses, and we will have to wait and see which team will end up on the winning side.
