OG Day 2 Gross Collections

0

Pawan Kalyan’s OG had a phenomenal start of 142 Cr gross worldwide. But on day 2 the film sees a drop in all territories’ box office

On day 2 the film has collected around 28 Cr gross, which takes the total gross to 170 Cr. The film definitely needs a much bigger jump on day 3 and day 4.

This action drama should target 235Cr+ gross for the first weekend. As the breakeven of OG is valued at almost 300 Cr gross, it requires to hold good collections until Dasara Weekend to achieve it. The A centers are showing good consistency but the Mass centers are not that great.

Fans really loved the film, but it did not get the same response from the other audiences. Let us wait and watch how the Sujeeth directorial will perform after the opening weekend.

OG Day 2 Box Office: Big Centers Okay: Mass Centers Fall

0

Pawan Kalyan’s OG sees drops in its numbers on day 2 after a historic opening at the box office. While the drop in big cities is okay, as it sees decent final numbers, in mass centers the drop is very huge, which is a big concern.

The film’s day 2 performance is weak, and there is a pre-festival effect added to it. Additionally, the word-of-mouth for the film changes across different territories.

OG: Day 2 Numbers see a drop at the box office

While the film received a decent to good response in A-class centers, the mixed talk in mass centers is impacting its box office performance.

The mass centers are expected to see a significant boost during the Dasara holidays, and that jump is crucial for OG after its Day 2 drops.

Tomorrow is Saturday, and the film is expected to see a jump over Friday, and if it has a good jump on day 3 and day 4, then it will definitely pick up during the Dasara festival as well.

OG, the action drama directed by Sujeeth, is showing the real stamina of Pawan Kalyan at the box office. The actor scores his first ever 100 Cr share with today’s collections.

Because of his political break, the release of movies during the Covid period, and involvement in multiple continuous remake projects, Pawan Kalyan couldn’t fully showcase his box office potential.

OG: The first 100 Cr Share Film for Pawan Kalyan

Finally, the crazy film OG shows the real stamina of Pawan Kalyan. On the opening day the film opened with 140 Cr+ gross and closer to 90 Cr share worldwide. Today the film will cross Pawan Kalyan’s biggest share film, Bheemla Nayak, and it will also achieve the 1st 100 Cr share film for him.

Also, today is just the second day of the film at the box office, and it will be a good weekend along with the Dasara holiday period next week. The film will target 150 Cr and 200 Cr share benchmarks for Pawan Kalyan.

To break even, it needs to achieve a worldwide share of 180 Cr and maintain a strong performance in theaters for at least 10 days or up to 2 weeks.

Pawan Kalyan Down with High Fever

Janasena Chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has been suffering from viral fever for the past four days. Since his condition has not improved and he has been experiencing a severe cough, doctors advised him to move from Mangalagiri to Hyderabad for further medical tests.

Following this advice, he left for Hyderabad on Friday to undergo treatment. Party sources confirmed this development. A few days ago, on Sunday, Pawan Kalyan had attended the pre-release event of OG in Hyderabad. Despite heavy rain, he took part in the celebrations and even delivered a speech and entertained his fans, as he did not want to disappoint them.

However, by Monday, it was revealed that he was down with viral fever. Even then, he attended the Assembly sessions and later visited Goddess Kanaka Durga temple on Indrakeeladri. Party representatives later shared that his fever worsened from Monday night onwards, and doctors strictly advised him to take rest.

Despite his health condition, Pawan Kalyan reportedly continued to hold teleconferences with officials regarding departmental matters. With his fever persisting for four days and his cough getting more severe, doctors have now suggested that he undergo detailed medical check-ups in Hyderabad.

Devara vs OG Day 1: Both Emerge Winners

0

Pawan Kalyan’s OG collected sensational numbers on day 1 at the box office. The film arrived in theaters with huge expectations. The film failed to beat NTR’s Devara Day 1 number but both films are winners on their own.

Devara, released last year, had achieved one of the biggest openings in Tollywood ever with 151 Crore gross for all languages. The opening stuns the trade as NTR scores the numbers with Koratala Siva whose last film Acharya was a big failure at the box office.

So, the opening of Devara proved how strong NTR’s stardom is. Before OG’s release, the fans and netizens had discussed whether it could break Tarak’s films openings even though there are other big openers like RRR, Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, and Kalki.

There was a continuous discussion/argument on whether OG will beat Devara in openings on the internet.

The final result is, both films emerged as winners, OG collects 142 Cr gross worldwide on day 1 and with 151 Cr gross, Devara leads for all langauges as it had some decent numbers in hindi Whereas Pawan Kalyan’s film did not see much numbers in Hindi.

But if we see only Telugu numbers, OG slightly leads over Devara. So, both films are very big openers, and NTR and Pawan Kalyan proved their big stardom.
