Little Hearts Box Office: The Film Continues Its Rampage in the Second Weekend Despite New Releases

The youthful entertainer Little Hearts sees a very good collection at the box office from opening day itself, as it got huge positive talk from premiers. The film started with a 2 Cr+ opening day and collected 24 Cr gross in the 1st week.

Even in the 2nd weekend, despite the arrival of new films like Mirai and Kishkindhapuri, Little Hearts managed to collect 8 Cr gross at the box office, which takes the total worldwide gross to 32 Cr.

The film could have delivered double the numbers if there were no new releases, and as new releases opened with positive WOM, it impacted the film’s collections. But putting such numbers among the competition itself is a big achievement for the film.

The Sai Marthand directorial will continue to post numbers for a few more days and will easily get near the 40 Cr gross number in its full run. The collections are sensational for a small film made just on a 2.5 Cr budget.

The horror thriller Kishkindhapuri has a very good weekend despite facing the Mirai storm. It received average to decent reviews and showed a good hold and now heads towards a blockbuster.

The film saw a 11.5 Cr+ weekend at the box office, and today the film is holding super strong. The collections are on par with opening day, which means Kishkindhapuri is all set to become a blockbuster, as it will achieve the breakeven mark of 15 Cr gross by Wednesday itself.

The film stars Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, with a strong supporting cast including Hyper Aadi, Makarand Deshpande, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Iyengar, Sudarshan, and Bhadram. The Lokah Phenomenon: All-Time No 1 Malayalam Film on BookMyShow

The Malayalam film industry is having a golden phase in the last two years. There were many big hits in 2024, and 2025 delivered some big hits as well. Lokah, the latest hit, has become the all-time no. 1 Malayalam film on Book My Show.

Mohanlal’s Thudarum registered 4.51M ticket sales on Book My Show, the ticketing app, and it is the biggest record for Malayalam cinema. Now Lokah, with 4.52M crosses, Thudarum, and becomes the no. 1 for the Malayalam industry.

As the movie will have a good run for another 2-3 weeks, it is expected to achieve 5M ticket sales in its full run.

The movie’s digital rights have been bought by Prime Video, and Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi is said to be streaming on OTT from 3rd October in all languages.

Anirudh Ravichander composed the film’s music, which received mixed responses from fans, while Rukmini Vasanth, who played the female lead role, impressed everyone with her performance alongside Siva Karthikeyan in the lead role.
