OG Distributor Still Waiting for Content

0

Despite the massive hype surrounding it, Pawan Kalyan’s OG still suffers because of poor planning and the delay in content delivery. The North America distributor himself is clueless about when the content will arrive.

The situation remains chaotic with the premiere dates approaching, yet the full content has not been released. This issue is causing many shows to be canceled.

The surprising part is that even the distributor of the film, OG, has no idea when the second half will be received. So far, only the content for the first half has been delivered.

Fans and audiences are annoyed with the makers’ planning. If all the issues aren’t resolved today, it could severely affect the premiere shows and numbers. The OG team kept messing up at the last minute with their poor handling of post-production.

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is gearing up for a massive release on 25th September. The film generated huge anticipation with all its promotional material working very well. The pre-sales of the film have crossed the 50 Cr mark now.

Also, the issues that bothered the makers are sorted as the content is getting delivered to overseas countries. Last night, the Andhra Pradesh revised GO was also released, and premiere bookings opened.

In all areas the film’s bookings are getting opened, and the overseas advance bookings are at 3 million. The total all-India advance bookings are at 25 Cr, which takes OG pre-sales’ total gross to more than 50 Cr.

Trade expects the film to have bigger jumps today and tomorrow, and there are excellent chances for the film to reach 100 Cr before shows start as well.

The massive blockbuster film Lokah is still surprising everyone with its box office run. After creating many records, this female superhero film completed 25 days in theaters.

Lokah has gathered 275 Cr in worldwide gross collection for 25 days at the box office. In its homeland, Kerala, the film collected 104 crores, while the rest of India’s number stands at 55 crores, with 116 crores gross overseas.

As said above, the film has achieved several records at the box office and emerged as the biggest Mollywood grosser, and it needs another 25 Cr to reach the 300 Cr benchmark. It also needs 15 Cr to become Kerala’s biggest grosser ever. The trade is confident that it will breach both landmarks looking at the current trend of the film.

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, Lokah also stars Naslen K. Gafoor, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan. Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas appear in cameos as well.

Teja Sajja’s Mirai and Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Kishkindhapuri were released on the same day at the box office, and both movies emerged as successful films. The makers released the official collections for both films for 10 days.

Producers officially reported that Mirai has collected 134.4 Cr gross for 10 days, while Kishkindhapuri makers announced that their film gathered 27 Cr gross for 10 days.

Mirai and Kishkindhapuri both emerged as hits at the Box Office

According to Track Tollywood’s numbers, Mirai has collected 119 Cr gross, and Kishkindhapuri has collected 21 Cr gross for 10 days at the box office.

There is always a slight difference between trade numbers and producers’ numbers. But the good thing here is that both films have given profits to the buyers, and they also provided a big relief to exhibitors who did not see many hits in recent days.
