The GOAT: Record Overseas Deal

The GOAT starring Vijay is slated for released this 5th September. The film’s songs and trailer have released till now. Songs were a bit disappointment but the trailer relieved the fans and audiences. Apart from this, the film is still doing miracles in business section. The GOAT is learned to have fetched a big overseas deal.

The overseas territory is said to be bought by Phars Films for a whopping 53 crores. This is third biggest deal for Kollywood after Leo 64 Cr and Thuglife 63 Cr. The overseas bookings have already opened and they have started on a very good note. Recently, bookings of The GOAT have been big as well.

There are high expectations on The GOAT as this may be the final high octane film from Vijay before he starts concentrating on a message oriented flick with H. Vinoth. This film will be Vijay’s final film where he starts working for his political party. He has already announced his Party and is contemplating to compete for the 2026 Tamil Nadu State Assembly Elections. He even announced his party’s flag and song today officially.

Suriya’s clash: Rajinikanth should also worry

Suriya’s upcoming film, Kanguva is slated for release on 10th October. The film is being made as a prestigious Pan India biggie from Kollywood. But Rajinikanth’s film, Vettaiyan is also eyeing the same release date creating a clash for the box office. Many felt that Suriya with a big budgeted film must worry about the box office prospects. But Rajinikanth should also worry and let’s know why.

After the announcement of release dates, there was a buzz that Kanguva may choose another release date. But 10th October looks good because other seasons like Diwali, Chirstmas or Sankranthi have films lined up for releases and they are much hyped than Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. So, it’s better for Suriya to clash with Rajinikanth now.

Kanguva also looks like carrying an upper hand over Vettaiyan since the latter one looks like an ordinary film. Kanguva will definitely have better openings for its genre and span. So, as said, Rajinikanth should also worry about his Vettaiyan with this clash. But Kanguva team is eyeing for a solo release to have a big advantage and long run which looks impossible for now. Kanguva needs to get a big unanimous positive response to become a blockbuster. But the trailer looks not so promising. Let’s wait and see.

Tollywood Actor NTR wished Chiranjeevi who celebrates his birthday today. The Actor took to his official X/Twitter account for the birthday wishes. His tweet attracted many people’s attention for a very interesting reason. NTR who wished Chiranjeevi on his birthday today didn’t wish his Paternal Uncle and another Tollywood Actor Balakrishna on his birthday.

NTR used to wish Balakrishna on his birthday few years ago. But he stopped doing that for reasons unknown. He missed wishing Balakrishna a happy birthday on June 10th which raised many doubts as well. Now, with him wishing Chiranjeevi, it looks even more suspicious.

All is not well within the family of NTR and Balakrishna. NTR never spoke about Balakrishna and his party TDP during their political activities before the election results recently. The Actor congratulated on their success through a tweet later. Fans of both the Actors still have a distance between themselves with NTR’s behaviour. NTR once campaigned for TDP but got sidelined afterwards. Many feel that this is the reason behind NTR’s gap with Balakrishna and his party, TDP.

On the other hand, NTR is busy with his Devara which is in the final leg of shoot. The film is scheduled for release on 27th September.

Pa Ranjith Accuses Govt. Of Politics In National Awards!

Notable filmmaker Pa. Ranith has been in the news lately since his fillm Thangalaan hit the screens last Friday! Featuring Vikram in the lead role, the film recieved good response upon release but the numbers turned out to be average.

Coming to the point, Ranjith has accused the central government for not honouring his work, Sarpatta Parambarai at the 70th National Film Awards. Featuring Arya in the lead role, this is a sports drama film co-written, directed and co-produced by Pa. Ranjith.

“Sarpatta was rejected due to the politicsI’m undertaking. They’re conscious that my work shouldn’t get recognized”, the Kabali director said. Upon digital release, Sarpatta receieved critical acclaim for its performances, characterization, music, direction and art work.

AAY Storms BoxOffice – Theatres Doubled!

Starring Narne Nithin in the lead role, AAY is a romantic comedy film directed by K. Anji Babu. Notable filmmaker Bunny Vas produced this project on a modest budget under the banner ‘GA2 Pictures’.

Releasing on the Independence Day weekend, AAY received applause for its performances, comedy, and music. Outperforming Ravi Teja’s Mr. Bachchan and Puri Jagannadh’s Double Ismart, it posted a worldwide gross of INR 9 crore in its first week.

In the second week, the footfalls look impressive, and owing to the demand, 150 new screens have been added for the film. AAY is expected to perform even better this week. For those unaware, Narne Nithin is the brother-in-law of Jr. NTR, who even congratulated the team for their success.

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is back

OG starring Pawan Kalyan is one of the most awaited films in Tollywood. The film’s glimpse created a sensation and raised expectations like anything. But the film’s shoot was put on hold due to the political commitments of the lead actor, Pawan Kalyan. The Actor, as known has become the Deputy CM of AP recently and became busy with his work. Now, it looks like the film OG is back on track.

Danayya, the producer of the film recently said that the update regarding the film would come on Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday i.e., September 2nd. Now both the director and producer posed with Pawan Kalyan and said that they are back on a mission. It is speculated that this would be the first single. The shooting will also commence once the Actor allots dates. Pawan Kalyan is also likely to start shooting of his other films, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

CM Revanth Reddy Serious On Ajay Devagn’s Film!

So this is how the story goes: Maidaan is a biographical drama film starring Ajay Devagn in the lead role. It is based on the life of football legend Syed Abdul Rahim. According to reports, the film’s makers have obtained personal information from his family, promising that they would be paid royalties post-release.

The film had a grand release in the month of April, to positive reviews from critics. Despite that, it bombed at the box office with a lifetime gross of INR 68 crore. As you might have guessed, the makers have become unreachable to the family of Rahim since then.

To get clarification on this matter, the family members of Syed Abdul Rahim have reached out to Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy. Expectedly, the CM has ordered a probe against the makers of Maidaan. It must be seen how this issue unfolds.

Ashwini Dutt Teases a New Chiranjeevi Film

Chiranjeevi, Tollywood’s matinee idol, celebrates his birthday today. Fans are celebrating this landmark anniversary in grand style with the re-release of the actor’s industry smash, Indra. The action drama is setting new records for elderly heroes’ re-releases.

Ashwini Dutt, a legendary director, produced the picture for Vyjayanthi Movies, and B. Gopal directed it. Ashwini Dutt produced Jagadeka Veerudu, Athiloka Sundari, Chudalani Undhi, Indra, and Jai Chiranjeeva with Megastar, and the first three proved to be huge money spinners. The ace producer has produced a video byte, as Indra continues to cause mass hysteria after so many years.

I am informed that the re-release will set records. The young generation will go mad witnessing Chiru’s incredible performance.
