Fans Slam OG Andhra Pradesh GO

0

Pawan Kalyan’s OG’s Andhra Pradesh Ticket GO was released just a while ago with flat 1000 ticket price permissions for 1 AM shows on opening day. Fans are not at all happy with the GO and slam the makers and government.

The AP government allowed a 125 Rs ticket hike for single screens and a 150 Rs ticket hike for multiplex screens for the first 10 days.

Fans are unhappy with this GO, and they ask makers to rethink it. Star hero fans want their film to create new benchmarks in opening, and especially when crazy films like OG release, fans will be curious about box office milestones.

OG: Pawan Kalyan Fans not happy with the Shows/Ticket Rates in Andhra Pradesh

Fans expected a premiere show with a 1000 Rs ticket price on the 24th night, but according to the official order, there are no such premieres for the film, and shows will start at 1 AM.

Certainly, 1 AM is a risky one compared to premieres because of show timing. Normally, special premieres will have regular second-show timing, which makes audiences active, and midnight shows are always a big risk.

Also, Pawan Kalyan’s fans expected another special show with a flat ticket price for OG, which is not happening. Moreover, most of the big movies will screen 6-7 shows based on the demand, but in GO it strictly mentioned only 5 shows per day, including benefit shows.

So as per GO, after the 1 AM show, there will be no shows at 5 AM / 8 AM; directly, the show will start at 11 AM.

All these things have hurt the fans, as they impact the record openings of the film, and they hope that there will be a revised GO from the AP government.

Prabhas’s The Raja Saab is continuously in the headlines, not with the updates, but with the rumors. The film has had several release date announcements and postponements as well.

Continuous Rumors Around Prabhas’s The Raja Saab

But now again there is buzz that the movie might not release on Sankranthi, as shooting of the film and post-production works may require more time.

Despite the team continuously reiterating that the festival release is on, even fans are concerned about the rumors, as the movie has been postponed multiple times already.

We need to wait and see whether the Raja Saab team puts an end to rumors by releasing the film for Sankranthi.

Currently, the unit is busy in the trailer works, as it intends to attach it to Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter One theaters.

Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda, which was released in theaters on August 27, 2025, failed to perform well at the box office despite positive reviews. The film has locked its OTT deal with Jio Hotstar.

The good news is that the film will be available for streaming in Telugu, but it will stream in all languages.

Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda closes a profitable non-theatrical deal with Jio Hotstar

Reportedly, the nontheatrical business was closed on a good note. Sundarakanda’s digital and satellite rights have been bagged by Jio Hotstar for 9 Cr.

Directed by debutante director Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, Sundarakanda is a light-hearted family entertainer with a well-mixed humorous tone.

Besides Nara Rohith, the film also stars Virti Vaghani, Sridevi Vijaykumar, Naresh, Satya, VTV Ganesh, Ajay, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant Duddumpudi, Vasuki Anand, and others in crucial roles.

The wait of the fans ends as the action-drama OG completes censor formalities with a U/A rating, and the team agrees to a few cuts in order to get the required rating. Now it is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on 25th September.

Marco 2 is Happening

0

Unni Mukundan’s Marco was a huge blockbuster that collected 100 Cr+ gross and did well in Telugu as well. But the film received criticism for extreme gore/violent content, and its sequel was officially shelved. However, the latest news is that Marco 2 is happening.

As said above, the film was a super successful one in theaters, and it was also the 1st Mollywood film to collect double-digit numbers in Hindi. The sequel was announced immediately.

Everything was good till it ran in theaters, but the issue started after it was banned from TV and OTT platforms due to excessive violence, and the court declared it is an unfit movie for family viewing.

Marco 2 Not Shelved

Unni Mukundan officially posted on Instagram that he has dropped the plans of the second part, as there is so much negativity around the film. With this, everyone thought the Marco franchise would not continue.

But lately, Director Haneef Adeni and Producer Shareef Muhammed have registered the title Lord Marco at the Film Chamber. So, it’s likely to be Marco 2. But the news is that Unni Mukundan is not the lead of the film, and we need to see who will lead this 2nd part of this gory action drama.

War 2 Becomes 1st YRF Spy Film to Miss 10M Overseas

0

War 2 was released with huge expectations and saw a disastrous result at the box office. Despite having two big stars, Hrithik Roshan and NTR, the film missed crossing the 10M figure overseas.

The film even failed to match the collections of Tiger 3 as well and ended up with 367 Cr gross collections worldwide and $9.5M overseas collections.

The YRF spy universe started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, and at that time itself, the film collected 10.3 million overseas. The next film, Tiger Zinda Hai, went on to collect 20 million, followed by War, which collected 13.75 million.

War 2 Box Office Performance: Weakest in YRF Spy Universe Films

Thereafter, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan became the record breaker with 50M collections, followed by Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, which collected 14.5M despite mixed talk.

However, unexpectedly, War 2 becomes the least overseas grosser in YRF spy films with a disastrous result, and it also stands as the first film to miss the 10M collection overseas.

The sequel of War 2 is the biggest film in the entire spy universe, as it stars Hrithik Roshan and NTR as the leads, but the BO performance is the least of the Spy Series films.

To celebrate the 75th birthday of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Silver Cast Creations has announced a new multilingual biopic titled Maa Vande. The film features a top-notch technical team, including Baahubali cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar and KGF music composer Ravi Basrur.

The movie will follow Modi’s life journey from his childhood in Gujarat to becoming the Prime Minister of India. It is written and directed by Telugu filmmaker Kranthi Kumar C.H. and produced by Veer Reddy M.

Maa Vande: The Biopic of PM Narendra Modi Announced

With the tagline “The Anthem of a Mother,” the story focuses on Modi’s personal life, especially the close bond he shared with his late mother, Heeraben Modi.

Director Kranthi Kumar called the film a dream project that took two years to develop. He thanked both political leaders and film industry professionals for their support and said the emotional heart of the story lies in the mother-son relationship.

Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan plays the lead role. Known for movies like Malikappuram, Marco, and Meppadiyan, Unni said the role is both a big responsibility and a personal journey. He grew up in Ahmedabad and first knew Modi as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Meeting him in person in 2023 left a deep impact on him.

The film has brought together a strong crew. Cinematography by KK Senthil Kumar (Baahubali and RRR). Editing by National Award-winner Sreekar Prasad and production design by Sabu Cyril (Baahubali), while KGF fame Ravi Basrur scores the music for Maa Vande.

The action choreography will be done by King Solomon (Baahubali, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD).

The Red Flag for Lokesh Kanagaraj

0

Lokesh Kanagaraj rose to fame quickly in the past few years and emerged as the biggest director in Kollywood. Despite his movies putting up big numbers at the box office, he is facing criticism for his last two movies, Leo and Coolie.

According to the plan, Lokesh Kanagaraj needs to start Kaithi 2 and immediately move to Aamir Khan’s project after Coolie. But suddenly the news of him directing the Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan multistarrer spread in the industry circles.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is not the director of Rajinikanth – Kamal Haasan Multistarrer

Kamal Haasan’s RKFI (Raaj Kamal Films International) and Red Giant Movies produce this movie, and Kamal confirmed that he and Rajinikanth will work in the film in a recent public interaction.

But for this film, the team seems to be looking at other options now. Rajinikanth says, “Yes, Kamal Haasan and I will be acting together in the next film after Jailer 2, produced by RKFI and Red Giant. The story and director are not yet finalized; discussions are ongoing.”

For this film Lokesh Kanagaraj is the initial choice, but now the news is that the team wants another director to handle this project and not Lokesh, which is definitely a shocker for the director.

Lokesh Kanagaraj faces the heat for not living up to the expectations

Definitely Lokesh himself is the reason for him getting into this position, as both Leo and Coolie are not greatly executed. We need to wait and see to know which director will be finalized for the massive multistarrer of Rajini and Kamal.

So, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is regarded as the biggest director in Kollywood, is now facing difficulties to maintain the same hype or craze. On the other hand, his debut as a lead actor in a film also has to go on set this year.

Also, if Lokesh is not doing the multistarrer of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, then his next directorial will be Kaithi 2.

OG Overseas Pre-Sales: Pawan Kalyan’s Career Biggest Opening Loading
