The producers of Kingdom had a big concern over censorship due to a dilemma because their movie features some bloody action episodes.

Reportedly, the makers doubted whether the movie would get a U/A or A rating. The team wanted a U/A Certificate, as Gowtam Tinnanuri’s films can bring a strong set of family audiences to theaters.

However, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom’s censor is done, and the makers are happy, as they wanted a U/A certificate, and they received it exactly.

Bhagyashree Borse stars as the female lead of this action drama, while Anirudh Ravichander scores the music.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara storms overseas, as the second weekend doubles the first. The film had collected $6.1 million till yesterday, and at this rate, it is expected to collect a minimum of 15 million or more than that in its full run.

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara has its music composed by multiple directors, and the songs are immensely liked by the audiences, along with its fresh lead pair and their romance.

Reports say that Jani will be choreographing a song in Ram Charan and Buchi Babu’s Peddi movie. With this, the renowned choreographer’s career is likely to grow again like before.

What Happened in Jani Master’s Case

Basha, better known as Jani Master, got arrested over a sexual harassment claim made by his assistant. He spent more than two weeks in Chanchalguda jail after getting arrested due to a complaint filed with the Narsing police.

Justice Sridevi pointed out that there was a delay in filing the complaint, and it did not have a clear explanation. After checking out the evidence and arguments from both sides, the court noticed that the complainant had consensual relations with the petitioner. 

Since the victim was of legal age, she could make her own choices, so the court figured that Jani Master wasn’t solely responsible for what happened between them.

The court let the petitioner out on bail with a personal bond of Rs 20,000 and two sureties for the same amount. Jani Master was also told to stay out of the complainant’s personal and professional matters.

The court told Jani Master to follow the rules in Section 480(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, along with any other conditions the judges might set.

Agnyathavaasi is the biggest disaster in Pawan’s career to date. It was released with a huge buzz and did record pre-business and opened with huge numbers.

But on the 2nd day, it completely crashed and collected a mere number of close to 4 Cr shares in the Telugu states. Now, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s Day 2 is worse than Agnyathavaasi.

After superb premieres and overall good openings, HHVM crashed even bigger than Pawan-Trivikram’s film. The film has collected around 3 Cr share on day 2, which is lower than Agnyathavaasi. 

If we consider the numbers from ROI and Overseas, there is not much contribution from those areas.

The film is not even picking up much for today and is heading towards a very big failure. The movie was made on a huge budget, and the producers went for their own release.

They will be in big financial hurdles for many years.

Nara Rohit’s upcoming film, Sundarakanda, gears up for a 27th August release, as the team announced the release date yesterday. Nara Rohit’s Sundarakanda seals a big non-theatrical deal.

Sundarakanda marks the directorial debut of Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, with Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli producing it under Sandeep Picture Palace. It is said to be a hilarious mix of comedy and drama featuring a middle-aged guy who’s still single.

The movie’s digital rights and satellite rights are said to be bought by Hotstar [Star Maa] for 9 Crore, which is a very big deal for the movie’s budget.

Also, the Hindi dubbing and audio rights were said to fetch 3 Cr. Nara Rohit’s Sundarakanda seals a big non-theatrical deal, and with this, the movie’s non-theatrical business closes for 12 Cr.

The release poster features Nara Rohith at two different points in his life—one scene with Sridevi Vijaykumar capturing first love and another with Vriti Vaghani suggesting a second shot at romance.

Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, Raghu Babu, and a bunch of others are also in the cast. Leon James has composed the music.
