The film also enjoyed an impressive run overseas, particularly in North America, where it opened on a strong note before posting solid collections over its first weekend. With its box-office performance exceeding expectations, the makers appear to be already planning the next chapter in the franchise.
During a recent interaction with the media, co-producer Raj Nidimoru was asked about the possibility of a sequel. Responding confidently, he confirmed that a direct sequel to Maa Inti Bangaaram is definitely on the cards, much to the delight of Samantha’s fans.
