Vijay Deverakonda played a cameo role in recently released, Kalki 2898 AD. His character was the role of Arjuna from Hindu epic, Mahabharatha as the film is a modern adaptation of Mahabharatha. His character and cameo were confirmed just before the release of the film. Malayalam Actor, Dulquer Salmaan too played a cameo role in the film where his official poster was also released. But Vijay Deverakonda’s cameo was put under suspense which was revealed only in the film. Now, there are heavy trolls on Vijay Deverakonda’s portrayal and look on social media platforms.
Vijay Deverakonda has a close relation with the director of the film, Nag Ashwin. He earlier too played a meaty role in the director’s previous blockbuster, Mahanati and Yevade Subrahmanyam. Now he managed to grab a cameo in this prestigious film. But it ended up receiving the flak from audiences. They are not happy with how his look was presented and the way his dialogue delivery had come out.
The audience are not ready to see him especially in such mythological roles. The Actor was never known for such acts as he always goes overboard while taking both onscreen and off screen. It needs to be seen how he responds to this criticism. On the other hand, Kalki 2898 AD is rocking the box office with a unanimous positive response.
