His next film announced as Matka is already facing budget restraints because of the poor form Varun Tej is in. The film will be directed by Palasa movie fame, Kiran Kumar. It is also planned as a Pan India film. Now, a Web series with the same theme and name has been announced on Amazon Prime Video as Matka King. The details of this web series are not yet known but this will be a big blow for Varun Tej who is suffering continuously.
