Finally the day is here! We are just a few hours away from Rebel Star Prabhas and Maverick Director Nag Ashwin’s Magnum Opus film, Kalki 2898 AD.

Prathyangira Cinemas along with AA Creations is bringing the film to the US audience with a massive release. Maharaja, the 50th film of Vijay Sethupathi gathered a thunderous response after its release. The film which had least buzz before the release has struck the gold. The film took no time in grossing 50 crores worldwide with an amazing first weekend performance. Now, Maharaja’s OTT streaming date and details are locked.

THe film will stream on leading OTT Giant, Netflix from 19th July. Maharaja is still doing good putting very good numbers. The film surprisingly did well in Telugu States too. Maharaja has all chances of grossing more than 100 crores worldwide. This will also be the first 100 crores film for Vijay Sethupathi who is in desperate need of a big hit. The film is also on the way of touching the 20 crores gross mark in Telugu Version worldwide.

Vijay Sethupathi was also playing cameo and supporting roles in few films. With this, Vijay Sethupathi may act again in the lead roles. He even thanked the people for making this happen. The Tamil Actor also quoted about people who starting talking bad about him if he acts in the lead roles. Indian 2: Technology used at its best

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan is a sequel to yesteryear Blockbuster Indian, also released as Bharateeyudu in Telugu. The film was announced and went into shoot after 2.0 directed by Shankar. Indian 2 has been in the shoot process for years and some of the actors, part of the film died during this period unfortunately. The team had to rely on technology to bring them back on screen. The Technology used is surely at its best and amazing.

Vivek, a popular comedian died during the Covid Period. Malayalam Actor, Nedumudi Venu who played the investigating officer in Indian and Tamil Comedian Manobala too succumbed to death for health reasons. Director Shankar pledged to bring them back to life on screen with Technology. They looked very natural with their glimpse shown in the trailer. However it has to be seen if these are technology generated or real ones coz they had acted for some scenes before their death.

The trailer released yesterday received mixed response from the audiences feeling some scenes went out of logic. Siddharth has been given a meaty role in the film as evident in the trailer as well. The film will release in all the Indian Languages on July 12th wolrdwide.

Kalki 2898 AD Day 1 advance bookings report

Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release tomorrow and the advance booking trends are giving clear signs of a blockbuster opening. Just for the opening day, the film has more than 70 Cr advance bookings and for the weekend, the advance bookings already crossed 100 Cr which is sensational.

With just one day to go for release, the advances for opening day itself are expected to go in the range of 100 Cr before the shows start. Very few films have achieved this milestone and now Kalki has entered this exclusive club. Trade is expecting a 180 Cr range opening worldwide, If the word of mouth is extremely positive then there are even chances of a 200 Cr start.

Only two films opened with 200 Cr gross worldwide in Indian cinema both are Rajamouli-directed films Baahubali2 and RRR. With Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan leading the star cast, this Nag Ashwin film has everything that takes to become a major box office winner and a massive opener tomorrow.

Indian 2 Trailer: A big disappointment

The trailer of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 was released yesterday and its safe to say, it has not met the expectations of the fans. Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s collaboration after 28 long years attracted great hype and hope from the fans to see the maverick director’s big comeback. However, the trailer has not stood up to the expectations.

Shankar’s film trailers normally receive positive feedback due to striking visuals and colourful frames. However, Indian2 trailer is receiving mixed responses which is a big disappointment for the team as the trailer failed to create the hype. This mixed response will harm the film which is less than a month away from its release.

Kamal Haasan is reprising his role as a freedom fighter turned vigilante. In the clip, Kamal’s character Senapathy, who once fought against the system, is back to save society. The ‘Ulaganayagan’ can be seen in multiple get ups in the trailer.

However, all these prosthetic-laden getups failed to evoke any excitement. Shankar and the team need to do some solid promotions and the fans are hoping the rest of the promotional content will be more striking than the trailer.

Kalki’s Theme: Goosebumps

Kalki 2898 AD is all set for release tomorrow i.e., on June 27th to big expecations. The film stars Tollywood Actor Prabhas in the lead roles. Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are also playing pivotal roles. The trailer of the film too released clocking more than 30 Million views and it has rockted the hype even more. Now, Kalki’s theme song has been released and it has offered a goosebumps stuff.

Till now, no song was released from the film and this happens to be the only song. Tamil Music Director, Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film. The BGM score too didn’t receive the expected range and fans were disappointed with his work as well. Now, this theme would answer their requirements. The theme showed the avataras of Hindu Mythological deity, Lord Vishnu. The film is also expected to have the lines of Mahabharatha as well.

The theme has many singers singing it and lyrics were penned by Oscar Awardee, Chandrabose. On the other hand, Kalki 2898 AD is already posting big numbers for the bookings on Book My Show and other platforms. The film may touch the 200 crore gross mark worldwide if all goes well.

Double iSmart, the official sequel of Puri Jagannadh’s blockbuster, Ismart Shankar is in the making process. The film stars Ram Pothineni in the lead role with Sanjay Dutt playing a pivotal role. The film’s release date has also been announced recently. It will release on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15th this year. Double iSmart seems to be anticipating a fancy offer now.

The team of Double iSmart wants to sell the film and are looking for a fancy rate. They are quoting around 50 crore ratio for the Telugu States. The budget of Double iSmart is very big and that is also the reason for the team quoting big number. Earlier film of Puri Jagannadh, Liger was sold for big numbers but the film became a biggest disaster for both Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda. Double iSmart is coming right after Liger. So, it needs to be seen if makers opt for such high number.

Ismart Shankar became a blockbuster but now makers are alert about Puri Jagannadh even though Ram exists. Ram too had a disappointing result with his previous outing, Skanda directed by Boyapati Srinu. So both may scare the makers and let’s see what happens.

Indian 2 trailer: Siddharth and Kamal Haasan’s show

The most awaited trailer of Indian 2 has been released today. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Siddharth in the lead roles. Directed by Maverick Shankar, the film is a sequel to yesteryear Blockbuster, Indian, also released as Bharateeyudu in Telugu. The trailer showcased Siddarth fighting for a cause and Kamal Haasan too joining the fight in his own style. The trailer made it a Siddharth and Kamal Haasan’s show all the way.

The film follows the style of Vikram narration where the character of Kamal Haasan would be entering during the Interval period. Till then it is Siddharth who starts the fight against the corruption and irregularities in the sytem. We may even see it is Siddharth who wants to contact Senapathy, portrayed by Kamal Haasan in the film to bring him back to India.

Kamal Haasan’s look is shocking with long hair. We see him even fighting with goons with his trademark Marmakala techniques. The BGM scored by Anirudh Ravichander too felt good and the cinematography looked fine. Rakul Preet Singh is also seen playing a pivotal role alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film will release in all the Indian languages on July 12th as confirmed in the trailer as well.
