Devil heading towards a heavy loss venture at the box office

Devil is heading towards a heavy loss venture at the box office. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s latest Spy Thriller Devil was released on December 29th and received a decent response from the audiences and critics. However, because of the low pre-release buzz and wrong release date, the film failed to get good collections at the box office.

After a below par weekend, the movie picked up very well on new year day and for four days the film has collected around 7.5Cr Share worldwide, but on Day 5 and Day 6 the film completely crashed at the box office. Devil is heading towards a heavy loss venture at the box office.

In Many stations, the theaters struggled to get the rents itself. The district shares were not even around 1 lakh yesterday. With this, the film has almost ended up its run at the box office, The final numbers are expected to be lesser than 9Cr share. Devil’s theatrical rights are valued at 20Cr. So it is a big loss for buyers.

The team has recently announced Devil Part 2, but now there is no chance for it as the Part 1 is itself a big failure.

Malvika Nair, Ajay, Satya, Edward Sonnenblick, Elnaaz Norouzi, Srikanth Iyengar, and Seetha are all key cast members in Devil. The music for this movie was composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Prime Video acquired the digital rights of this Kalyan Ram starrer. The film was produced and directed by Abhishek Nama.
