Prabhas officially confirms the postponement of Kalki 2898 AD. It is widely known that Rebel Star Prabhas is working on a big-budget Sci-Fi film under the direction of talented filmmaker Nag Ashwin. Reputed banner Vyjayanthi Films is producing the film. While the fans eagerly await the arrival of the film’s trailer or any other update, Prabhas officially confirms the postponement of Kalki 2898 AD.
In a recent interaction with the media, Prabhas said he is happy with the Salaar Part 1 result and eager to start Salaar 2 as soon as possible. He also stated that he and Prashanth Neel have some commitments and will finish and start part 2 quickly. Prabhas also said that the entire story is ready for part 2.
Kalki 2898 AD Postponed
Regarding his following films, Prabhas said that the next film is a horror film, which means he refers to Maruthi’s film and not Kalki’s. Many rumors in industry circles suggest that Kalki 2898 AD might not be released this year.
Recently, Director Nag Ashwin said that the trailer update would come in April, so the fans expected the film to be released on May 9 as scheduled. But on the fun side, Nag Ashwin also made it clear that he does not want to remove the film until he gets 100% satisfaction with CG’s work.
On the other side, the makers of Prabhas – Maruthi film have started promotions, and they recently announced that an update will come for this Sankranthi. They plan to release the film on Dasara in 2024. So. mostly Maruthi’s film will be the next release of Prabhas’s in theatres.
