Also, the brand of director Lokesh Kanagaraj is added to this film so it did record business. The film needs to collect more than 40 Crores Gross in Kerala state to achieve the break even point.
For the unknown, Thalapathy Vijay plays the role of a gangster in his 40s, who lives in Kashmir, away from the world of the gang wars by running a chocolate factory. The storyline of the movie contains all the ingredients of a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie – with all the adrenaline – pumping elevation scenes, action sequences and high-octane drama. The Inner-character conflicts are seen as one of the major highlights, reportedly. Moreover, it is said that the shooting of the Leo should be completed by mid-July.
Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is rumored to be a part of Lokesh’s LCU aka Lokesh Cinematic Universe, of which Karthi’s Kaithi and Kamal Haasan’s Vikram are also a part. Besides Vijay and Trisha, Leo has a list of the big star cast, among which Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomass, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sandy. The film is surrounded by massive expectations not only from Tamil but also the Telugu audience. Leo will hit screens on October 19th.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is also teaming up with Superstar Rajinikanth next on Thalaivar 171. Vijay will work with director Venkat Prabhu for his next film, which is expected to roll out by September/October this year.
