Writer Vijayendra Prasad who got nominated for Rajya Sabha by Government of India is becoming the talk of social media now. His earlier interview where he mentioned about the reason why they didn’t add Gandhi or Nehru images in Ethara Janda song went viral. The interview clip was tweeted by a North Indian and it became viral within no time.
In the interview, we find Vijeyandra Prasad saying that Gandhi chose Nehru as first Prime Minister because of his bias and selfishness. As per him, there were 17 PCC’s back then and British while leaving India has asked Gandhi to choose the PM. Gandhi asked those 17 PCCs to write the name of person whom they want to operate in PM capacity. 15 out of 17 PCCs have mentioned the name of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Only one mentioned Nehru name and other was blank.
Despite these results, Gandhi chose Nehru as PM because of his alignment. This has resulted in Kashmir debacle which we are enduring till now. This is the reason why the team thought that there is no need to add Gandhi pic in the Ethara Janda song.
