The latest news of the South Indian Film Industry’s most hyped film – Thalapathy67 is that the audio rights for this Vijay’s upcoming film of which music is being scored by Anirudh Ravichander have been sold for Rs 16 crore. Sony Music has taken the audio rights.

Thalapathy 67 team, headed by Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj are currently in Kashmir. They fled Chennai on January 31 and the Chennai airport was whispering with the rumor that Vijay was in the house. The full cast and crew, comprising Trisha, Priya Anand, and others, reached from Chennai to Srinagar.

From February 1, the Thalapathy 67 production team is announcing further news of cast members comprising Trisha, who will be seen with Vijay after 14 years on screen. However, the freshest word is that audio rights for Thalapathy 67 have been sold for an all-time record price to Sony Music. Apparently, the audio rights of the new Vijay film have been bought for Rs 16 crore by Sony Music.

Sony Music takes the audio rights of all of Anirudh’s films, and this is no exemption. Sony Music had won the audio rights of Lokesh’s past film, Vikram, which had Anirudh as the music director. But there was no report how much Sony had paid for the rights of Vikram.
