Shankar’s two upcoming projects RC 15 and Indian 2 have created great buzz amongst industry and trade circles. Both these films are in the production stages. While Indian 2 started way before RC15, it saw several shooting hurdles including the death of a crew member on sets and legal issues for Kamal Haasan as well as Shankar.
RC 15 on the other hand is going at a decent speed and has completed some shooting schedules. But, Shankar, dabbling with two massive projects at once has impacted the shooting of Ram Charan starter as well.
Dil Raju planned for both RC 15 and Indian 2 to release this year but both movies are facing constant delays and are now postponed until next year. Indian 2 is now expected to release on Sankranthi 2024 and RC15 will be released on summer of 2024.
RC 15 stars Kiara Advani, SJ Surya, Anjali, Srikanth, Jayaram and others. Indian 2 on the other hand features Kajal Agarwal opposite Kamal Haasan. Both films are big-budget entertainers with great commercial elements and social messages.
