Ajith’s recent hit movie Thunivu is now gearing up for its OTT release. Thunivu OTT premiere is one of the most awaited ones and after entertaining audience in theatres last month, this film is making its way to Netflix.
Thunivu OTT premiere will happen on February 8th and it can be streamed on Netflix in multiple languages. Directed by H Vinoth, Thunivu was released alongside Vijay’s Varisu and emerged as the Pongal winner if we go by ROI.
Both Varisu and Thunivu were released to mixed reviews but thanks to Ajith and Vijay’s star power, and the Pongal season, the following days were blockbuster ones. Overall, Varisu has bigger numbers than Thunivu for sure. But, the pre-release business of the movies are quite different.
The action entertainer co-starring Smuthirakani and Manju Warrior received mixed reviews but Ajith’s screen presence and pacy narration by H Vinoth managed to get the movie off to a good start.
Thunivu delivered career-best 1st-week numbers for Ajith. The action entertainer has collected 90Cr in TN in its 1st week and across the country, the film’s collections stand close to 110C after the first week.
