Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman are the top music directors of Telugu Film Industry. Both of them have been undeclared rivals by the virtue of competition between them, though personally, they have a healthy relationship, Thaman has made it clear many times that they both take the competition sportively.
Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman are coming up with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy respectively for Sankranthi-2023. Now fans of both the heroes are comparing the work of these two music directors.
It was in 2020 January when the films Ala Vaikunta PuramuLo and Sarileru Neekevvaru were released in the music direction of Thaman and DSP respectively.
There were huge comparisons between the two and finally Thaman scored bigger than DSP. Though Sarileru Neekevvaru had a few viral super hit songs to its name, eventually Ala Vaikunta PuramuLo songs became more popular and got bigger reach than the songs of Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Coming to the present day, the competition of Veera simha reddy and Waltair Veerayya has made the fans to be very cautious regarding every promotional content. They are comparing both movie’s promos and songs.
Now it appears like the competition is not between more than Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi but it is between DSP and Thaman. This is putting massive pressure on them, now they have to not only deliver hit songs, but it also should be better than the other movie’s song.
Recently, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy movie units have released their first single songs. As of now, the first song of Waltair Veerayya, Boss party is getting more positive response than Jai Balayya song from Veera Simha Reddy.
So, as far as the first single is concerned DSP is declared as the winner and Thaman just couldn’t get the required push. We have to wait and see how the other single songs of both the movies will be and even the background score of the trailers will also come into the competition ground by fans at that time.
